"A cafe that is cute and has readily available parking is a rarity in any city- but especially Los Angeles. Very cute little coffee shop that had a great menu and lots of additional things for your eyes to wander over, like the local honey. This is a great place to chill, meet your friends, and have a quick bite while you read. The staff is very thorough, super charismatic, and very knowledgeable about their craft. I'll definitely continue to visit this spot while I'm in town. Be warned, bring a fully charged laptop/phone if you plan to do any work here. And bring and open appetite to try something new!

Google
Very cute coffee shop with great tasting coffee. I added cinnamon to a vanilla latte and it was very tasty. They do have some indoor and outdoor seating but it was quite busy with a line when I visited around 10 am on a weekday. Despite the size of the line they got through the orders fairly quickly and it didn’t take as long as I anticipated. They have a lot of unique lavender and honey combinations of coffees to try out.

Google
super cute cafe! feels like a really nice neighborhood cafe and the outdoor area is so nice! with free parking lot. no wifi but i think i saw plugs. coffee was ok. they have nice options for food and pastries too and staff were nice

I came in in the morning around 745am and ordered their iced americano and cold brew. Both tasted great! The business has its shared parking and I was able to find parking quick. I can imagine it gets busy later on in the day. Would come back and try their other drinks and pastries!

Google
Love this place. Super cute but can get busy. I usually just order ahead and take it to go, but it’s a nice place to hang out and there is seating inside and outside if you choose to dine-in. They also sell honey (obviously lol) and other local goods. Great coffee + food! Friendly staff.

Google
Very cute spot ! Gave me hipster vibes . The line was always long . They had a lot of staff helping out working inside so we didn’t wait too long for the coffee . Their pastries I think are from other vendors and not baked in house but they were tasty . We ordered a brown sugar latte and salted caramel latte. I appreciate the 8 ounce option.! The coffee itself is pretty good. Not as strong , but I just read that they use clutch coffee, which is probably why I’m not a huge fan of klatch! Although they did make a pretty decent cup of coffee!

Google
The lavender breve latte is delicious- i order it with regular milk (it's default is half & half) and half sweet. This place is great if you're leisurely - not in a hurry. The staff is very chatty both with customers and each other. I've had to wait at the counter while they were so engaged in conversation with eachother that they ignored me for several minutes. Never seen such a thing. However they're very friendly and warm. Just don't come if you're in a hurry. Also, the bread is amazing, but the toast is way overpriced.

Google
Their pastries and drinks are not too sweet. The baristas are pleasant and knowledgeable, and the decor is nice. It's a bit of a tight squeeze inside, but still a lovely little coffee shop.

Yelp
We came for the coffee, but stayed for the food. Their menu may be small-ish, but their sandwiches are incredible. We drive from Van Nuys whenever we're getting a craving for a great Italian sandwich with some great coffee.

Yelp
Amazing coffee over all great service. The only reason I'm doing 4 instead of 5 stars is the coffee beans for home. I live across the streetish and have tried several times to but coffee to brew at home. It's pricey so you expect quality. Last 4 times I was getting no real flavor out of the coffee and I'm grinding the beans fresh myself. Not really sure what that's about because I often brew coffee at home and haven't had this issue with other brands. If you order there it's reallly good coffee! Otherwise don't but anything for making at home.

Yelp
L&H is a great local cafe. Although small with limited seating, they have a great menu and always add seasonal items depending on the time of the year. The Honeybee Latte is fantastic, and the Lavender Breve is superbe. If you are looking for a tasty snack, they do a lovey L&H toast which is cream cheese with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkling of lavender. The salads are fabulous and the sandwiches are large and tasty. All round, worth a visit for sure.

Yelp
Lavender & Honey is a wonderful way to wake up every morning - starting the day with some positive energy, delicious coffee and tasty homemade treats. This female-owned and operated business offers some amazing caffeine-infused drinks, toasts, sandwiches and salads, and of course, lots of lavender and honey ingredients. Typically, there is a small line outside waiting for the shop to open on Washington Blvd. each day. There is a small parking lot adjacent to the building as well as plenty of street parking in this quiet area of Pasadena near the Altadena border. You'll be greeted by some friendly faces and a wonderfully bright and cheerful space. A few small tables and chairs inside and out front, along with some merchandise to take home with you. One of the my go to caffeine fixes is the French Lavender Breve. Their signature lavender latte made with espresso, French vanilla and lavender syrup. You can get it hot or over ice and add your choice of milk (I opt for the almond version ). If my tummy is grumbling, I usually go with one of the options from their Toast Bar. This morning, I was craving the PB Honey Banana Toast (Peanut Butter, Banana, and Raw Local Honey on Artisan Bread). They also have gluten free bread options as needed. The coffee is fantastic. Bold, flavorful and the lavender-inspired options epic. Friendly, locally owned and operated team helps bring smiles to each customer. A great way to start the day.

Yelp
Lavender & Honey is hands down my favorite coffee shop. I grew up in the Pasadena area and every time I'm home I go EVERY single day. Their coffee drinks are my favorite bar none. Their toast (they have good gluten-free bread!!) and sandwiches are delicious. Their staff is always friendly. It's such a welcoming place and my number one recommendation when friends are visiting.

Yelp
Snacking in Pasadena, California... After breakfast, I thought I'd check out Lavender & Honey since it was literally right next door to the restaurant we had just patronized. My friend, Sam, suggested that I take a peek because I was there already. (I listen to her because she's super smart and usually right!) I had free parking around the corner from the front door of Lavender & Honey. Customers were outside, chatting and enjoying the outdoor seating. Inside, the place was packed! I just wanted to grab something and be on my way! I saw the cute honey bears (the containers are bears) and got one! I also got a croissant - wow! Such a flakey crust and airy interior! I really enjoyed that pastry! I'll probably be back if I'm nearby again. This cafe/shop is really popular. I'd explore the menu when it's less crowded.

Yelp
[ Drink ] I ordered an iced Cinnamon Creamed Honey Latte and it was really good! It would've been perfect if the coffee and cinnamon taste was a bit stronger. [ Service ] Customer service is good. [ Parking ] It's a struggle looking for parking in this small lot, since they also share it with different shops. If parking was easier to find, I'd probably be here more often but I was just in the area.

Yelp
Lavender & Honey (est 2012) is a cute, little corner espresso coffee bar located on Washington blvd in Pasadena. They offer a breadth of coffee, pastries and deli sandwiches. Moreover, they sell merch, coffee bags, honey syrup and mugs. As you step into the L & C, you can almost immediately feel the tranquility of the shop from the neighborhood's busy streets. Their interior design and firm layout were well conceived; it gives you that intimate setting albeit can get easily cramped once it gets crowded. I always welcome the unfettered indulgence to try a new coffee shop; I came on a very busy warm Sunday morning to get a nice smooth cold brew x whole milk. It was concocted well and immediately served by a young white lad. Their indoor and outdoor seats were very limited. Service was on point. Menu was compendious. Atmosphere was relaxing. Prices were reasonable despite the US atrocious inflation. Overall, I had a good order experience and enjoyed their smooth Cold Brew. I definitely will be back and I recommend them.

Yelp
I stopped by Lavender & Honey for a quick grab and go. Unforunately, the parking situation made it hard to do exactly that. The entire parking lot was completely full, but I was lucky to see someone leave as I was turning around. For reference, this was on a Friday around 8:45 AM. I needed to wait a bit before ordering and also a bit after for my order. I decided to get the Honeybee Latte (Iced). I honestly thought the drink was okay. This is a very small shop with a few inside seating arrangements and even fewer outside. During my visit, all spots were taken. Considering the parking, seating, and drink/price, I don't think I'll be coming back here. Note: American Express is accepted.

Yelp
My friend took me here to study but realized they no longer offer free wifi after we had ordered our drinks... This place is super cute and has a few indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. Perfect spot to study if you have your own hotspot if not you're better off else where. I ended up grabbing their Iced Chai Latte which was delish, a little on the sweet side but that was honestly perfect for me. This place would've gotten the full 5 stars if they had provided wifi to be honest...

Yelp
A pretty, little cafe that has a great assortment of refreshments with a nice menu of morsels to match. I've never not seen Lavender and Honey busy and it's caught my eye the several times I've passed it. I decided to finally give it a chance and I'm happy I did! As usual from what I've observed, there was a line of people waiting to order and the patio was busy -- a good sign that such a place is beloved. After giving it a try, I could see why. I got myself a matcha latte and sandwich for a nice lunch and enjoyed my order. Lavender matcha latte -- 8/10. It had the nice earthiness of matcha that I really enjoy, but I didn't taste any of the lavender. The beverage I ordered comes with honey but since I don't like it, i ordered my drink without it Crazy Caprese sandwich-- 9/10. What sets this sandwich apart from other caprese's, and what makes it ~crazy~ is that they add a chili oil crunch to it. I never thought I would need a Caprese sandwich to be spicy but I'm glad the folks here at Lavender and Honey thought it up because it made for a satisfying sandwich! There's plenty of free parking in the lot next to this cafe, so that's a nice bonus :)

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop is worth the 20-30 minute drive. My go-to order is the French lavender breve and a veggie sandwich--it's something I crave every day!

Yelp
Lavender & Honey is definitely one of my top coffee spots. Their coffee is always quality and every latte is made to perfection. My favorite is the cinnamon creamed honey latte 1/2 sweetness -- probably the most perfect latte to ever exist! I usually prefer my coffees cold, but the hot version is just as good, if not better. The coffee beans they use are very strong and stand out in their lattes (Klatch?), which is a plus for me. Some places have very drowned out drinks, and the main thing you taste is milk, but L&H knows what they're doing! They also offer seasonal creations which is appreciated. It keeps options new and exciting. I've yet to try their pastries, toast, and sandwiches, but I'll be back soon. They're all freshly made, with some pastries discounted if they're day(s) old. Parking is sometimes hard to get in the plaza, but there is street parking as well. The shop is relatively small with limited inside and outside seating. It does get cramped as people sit there to eat, chat, and etc. I usually grab and go so there's no problem if you're there for just a great cup of coffee. Lavender & Honey is a community favorite for sure!

Yelp
I saved this place in my bookmarks months ago after seeing it on IG. After a morning hike with my husband in Altadena we started looking for coffee shops to buy some coffee for the drive back. As always I check my bookmarks first before searching and I saw this coffee shop. After a short drive we were here. It's a busy Saturday morning at Lavender and Honey. We got in line and ordered coffee, cold brew, a ham sandwich in baguette, a cinnamon roll and an almond pastry. I can't choose which I liked the most. They were all so fresh and delicious. The baguette sandwich was made just the way I like. Butter ham and cheese on a freshly baked baguette. The cinnamon roll tasted heavenly. Not too sweet and super moist. I haven't had one in over ten years and this one hit the spot. We loved the coffee as well. Great taste and freshly brewed. Indoor and outdoor seating , parking lot. Customer service not so friendly but ok. Ambiance is great. They also sell variety of honey, jams, coffee, tea, shirts etc ... If you are in the area check them out.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I try to come here every once in a while because it's amazing! We usually get the Italian sandwich, which is so fresh, the bread and veggies and all! I always get a lavender mocha, and my boyfriend loves to try the seasonal drink. I love that they have seasonal pastries too!! The last one I remember having was a blackberry lavender pastry I believe? INCREDIBLE. Definitely want to make it back soon (,:

Yelp
There isn't Wifi but there is always parking, and the food/drinks are always on point! I come here when I know I don't need Wifi / need to unplug. The service is simple and welcoming. The place can get crowded during the weekends, but generally it's so calming on the weekdays. Pro-tip: get a jar of honey from them. They have all sorts of locally sourced honeys that are allllll delicious! My fave is the wildflower honey from Sacramento that's in a cork bottle - so, so good!!!

Yelp
This coffee shop has been on my list of places to try and it's really popular with the locals. Located amongst a few other shops (e.g, lark, Millie's cafe) so the parking lot can get full pretty quickly. There are plenty of street parking so that shouldn't been an issue. The coffee shop is really small so it does get crowded. Inside they have an assortment of goods ranging from jams, to honey, to mugs and t-shirts for sale. Although the line was long, it went pretty quickly. I ordered their salted Carmel latte and the signature French lavender breve, both iced (~$6.50 per drink before tax). The drinks were made quickly and I took them to go since the shop was packed. I really wanted to like the drinks here but they tasted watered down. I tried the salted caramel latte upon leaving the shop and there was no salted caramel to it. The drink tasted like water with a hint of milk and coffee. I then tried the French lavender breve and the lavender was overpowering the coffee and tasted watered down. Both drinks needed more sweetness to them as well. I most likely will come back to buy their honey and jams but probably not their coffee drinks. Such a shame since it's a really cute coffee shop!

Yelp
Lavender and Honey is my go-to coffee shop, and for good reason! Every visit is a delightful experience, with their incredible menu of sandwiches and specialty drinks. The sandwiches are consistently amazing, offering a perfect blend of flavors and high-quality ingredients. My favorite drink, the lavender breve, is a must-try. It's beautifully crafted with just the right touch of lavender, making it uniquely delicious and incredibly satisfying. The cozy ambiance adds to the charm of this place, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed coffee break. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a leisurely coffee, Lavender and Honey never disappoints. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for quality food and drink in a welcoming atmosphere!

Yelp
Lavender& Honey has been my SPOT since they opened. It always feels like home whenever I stop by for a quick bite and a latte or stay and enjoy with family and friends. Love their seasonal menu items! My absolute favorite is the Italiano on Gluten Free Ciabatta! Service is always great, everyone's friendly. Usually on days I want to grab and go, I call ahead to order and pick up. My favorite part is the decorations, yummy items they seek such as lavender honey from 123 farms and their fresh coffee beans! It's a must try spot!
google avatar

Veronica E.

Yelp
Good local coffee shop. They have a nice variety of coffee and pastries. I usually get the lavender honey latte, which is really good. Unfortunately, this hasn't become a favorite go to because parking is terrible (you can only find spots in the lot before Millie's opens at 8:00), there's usually a long line, so if you're trying to get your coffee quickly, that will not happen and it's fairly pricey, at $7.50 for a small drink. But, if you can overlook those pain points, check it out, you will enjoy your coffee.

Yelp
Traveling from Chicago, my sister just moved to Pasadena. The Cali coffee scene is just as good as the Chicago scene. I love Lavender & Honey lattes, chose this shop. They had merchandise for sale, jams, lavender honey, salted caramel honey, shirts, mugs, lavender salt it was awesome. Kind of small inside, when it got crowded people were waiting out the door. Seats maybe 10-15 people? You can order online. Parking was limited, I parked across the street and walked over. The blueberry lavender latte was lovely!!!

Yelp
i'm obsessed with this little cafe! grab a little treat after a pilates class next door or stop by for a quick breakfast after a morning walk. they carry gooey center bakery cinnamon rolls, and i absolutely recommend trying one of these out. it's so fluffy and sweet! lavender and honey matcha latte - i think this is a seasonal drink, but it is so so good!! they have little pollen specks on the top that are so pretty, too. there is some seating inside, but it definitely gets packed on the weekend. it's a bit noisy, but they have wifi for studying. there's a small parking lot that also fills up fast, so it's definitely up to luck! i love this as a study spot, and the service is so kind and fantastic!
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Super cute coffee place. I really like the iced French lavender breve - the lavender isn't overpowering and it's nice & creamy. The avocado toast is also yummy here too! It's really cute inside with a few tables inside and outside in the patio as well. There's also a parking lot in the back however it gets pretty packed since it's shared with a restaurant and other little shops. Definitely a try!
google avatar

Nekaya C.

Yelp
I almost don't want to leave a review so it can remain a hidden gem but I'm not king to gate-keep. The pasties, toast, and coffee are amazing. They have weekend specials so certain pastries are available only on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Totally worth a visit. The baristas are super nice and know many of the patrons by first name. It's nice to watch the interaction and enjoy the true value placed on customer service. The inside seating is limited, however outside there is plenty to enjoy, even a cute water bowl for four legged children.

Yelp
I can't say enough great things about this place. It's right by the corner of a pretty busy area. Parking is a bit hard to find but once you are there you are going to love it. The shop is small but cozy. I loved all the products they had for sale. It was interesting being able to see how everyone does their work. I got the lavender drink. It wasn't too sweet. I ended up coming back for another within the span of an hour. Definitely a must try!
google avatar

Renee A.

Yelp
The staff is wonderful. Shop is filled with great local business treats. The quality is still so amazingly fantastic. Make sure you get up early to catch the fabulous amazing goods that's big box companies no longer make. My favorite is their green tea baked goods that I miss more often than not. Worth every single bite and finger lick. It really is amazing the difference of the chemical flavor I can taste in most corporate company "baked" goods over the wonderful local business flavors. If you haven't treated yourself here before, we'll start your weekend off great at this local spot. Cheers and blessings.

Yelp
Quickly stopped by to grab some coffee and was so impressed by this coffee shop. The people who work here are so pleasant and the coffee is delicious! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
After hiking the famous Eaton canyon waterfall hike, I wanted some espresso and something light. Lavender & Honey is a cute coffee shop located only 1.5 miles west from the trail head. The shop has limited seating, but wasn't too busy at 10:00 am on a Sunday. The Caprese sandwich was made with artisan bread from a local bakery, and was fresh and tasty. My lavender breve was exactly what I wanted. It's a popular drink and most people in line were ordering it over ice. The service was helpful and well knowledgeable. When I asked for advice on what to order, the staff were able to guide me to a drink and sandwich I would enjoy. ***Plenty of parking across the street if the adjacent lot is full.

Yelp
Darling little place. The veggie sandwich was the best veggie sandwich I've ever had. I immediately went home to duplicate it. It was that good. The staff- super nice and friendly. Professional but approachable. Coffee was very good. I had a cappuccino and it was perfect. The only con, and in Pasadena it's true for everything, the parking is difficult-a little lot shared with other businesses. So, there's that. This place is worth a 10 easy.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here for coffee and chai during a flag football game my son was in at the Pasadena High School. What a great find! The staff is super nice and mellow. This is not a secret place as there is a line but it moves pretty quickly. Once inside, we noticed this place is much more than just coffee and chai. They have sandwiches that look incredibly good. Artisan bread with cold-cut Italian meats and cheeses; they have a toast bar with avocado and jellies; have a salad bar plus a kid's bar with birthday toast, peanut butter, and jelly, and other kids favs. A great find.

Auto A.

Yelp
10/10. Great cappuccino. I loved the beverage from the beginning to end. I'm not a fan of lavender, so I won't fault them for the taste. However, everyone else seems to love lavender as it's a very popular flavoring request. But, other than that it was great.

Frances P.

Yelp
I just reviewed the Redondo location for my first review ever, and I realized that I needed to do the same for my favorite, go-to coffee shop! The brown sugar latte is my favorite, but lately I've been enjoying the seasonal drinks, especially the peppermint fudge mocha and the pecan latte. They're all amazing, and I alternate between hot and iced depending on the weather. The sandwiches are also excellent, and along with Parisian ham sandwich, I really like the vegetable sandwich! I feel like you can't go wrong!
google avatar

Yelp
This coffee shop is SO CUTE with delicious food to boot! We came here twice on our 3-day trip in Pasadena. Everything we tried from the toast bar was delicious and perfectly balanced. The L&H toast and Pasadena toasts were our favorite. Good espresso, lovely ambience, and fast service. Lots of fun local goods to browse and shop for while you're waiting for your coffee. Honeys, jams, olive oils, mugs, shirts, etc. Very cute place! Recommend!!
google avatar

Jamie C.

Yelp
The cinnamon roll from this cafe was so aesthetic, lol. But it also tasted great! I also got a latte, which was very creamy and nice. The drinks came out pretty quickly and the outdoor patio was nice. The indoors is really nice with hanging lightbulbs and flowers around the menu.
google avatar

Joseph G.

Yelp
Pro: great coffee and food; register/ super nice Con: You will feel like you are interrupting the staffs hang out time. Customer service takes a back seat to the staff's focus on finishing their conversations with each other. I'm all for a fun relaxing work environment, but when you and three others have been waiting for a drink and you see the barista pause to turn and have a heart to heart with his coworker... :- / "Hello?"
google avatar

Yelp
Came at 10:15 on a Saturday morning Was a long line of about 7 people Ordered a cold brew with a lavender syrup Ordered and was prepared quickly DELICIOUS!

Yelp
My favorite spot to hit when I'm in the area. The lavender lattes and peanut butter honey banana toast are my favs! Get a rewards card if you frequent, to work toward that free drink!
google avatar

Yelp
TL:DR: Superior HONEY selection sold by nice folks Just like the name says, these guys specialize in excellent coffee and many kinds of honey. Urban honey from Los Angeles (Buzzed Honeys brand), creamed honey, ole fashioned liquid honey, honey sticks and they even have specialty drinks made with honey

Yelp
Soooo pleasantly surprised with this place! I was getting my hair done down the street and wanted to grab a quick coffee. This shop is super cute, has a nice tiny outdoor space, has a bunch of house-made products available for sale, and I love their cute chalkboard menu. There was quite a line when I walked in around 9:15am on a Thursday but now I understand why! The kind lady taking orders was super helpful and she suggested I get the Brown Sugar Latte which was EXCELLENT - fantastic balance of flavors. I also noticed from other reviews that their cinnamon rolls were a must have, and considering they were almost out, I definitely needed to grab one. HOLY SMOKES, I am not a sweets person but I scarfed the whole thing down before I could even get a photo. Will definitely be back, keep up the great work!

Yelp
Cool location w outdoor seating. The coffee and espressos are great. Love getting the diff snacks they have with my gf. The toasts and sandwhiches are all great. Try them all.

Yelp
Checked this place out with my cousin about a week ago. Love their artisanal sandwiches, drinks, and treats. A great spot with lots of traffic, so you know it's gotta be good! Our early lunch was delicious!
google avatar

Isabella S.

Yelp
There is usually a wait on weekends, but its totally worth it! I usually get the french lavender breve hot/cold and its so good! their seasonal sandwiches are also amazing. I love the jam that they use. Parking is pretty easy around the neighborhood or the parking lot. Seating is limited, but usually people don't sit for too long!
google avatar

Yelp
The matcha was not good quality and I ordered a matcha latte and pumpkin spice matcha. The matcha was all underneath the drink and it was going to my throat. I asked the man to fix it and he just added sugar. Still tasted bad so I asked for a refund and they didn't refund me because "they don't offer refunds". I don't understand what kind of customer service you guys offer. Never coming back.
google avatar

Christina J.

Yelp
This place has been life-changing. I didn't think I liked matcha, but I decided to try it again since it sounded too nice to resist--Lavender Matcha. I am now a subscriber and have started making my own matcha at home. The outside seating is limited, but it's always a great experience with a friend. Bonus: there's parking in the back, shared with Millie's Cafe.

Yelp
New espresso bar with coffee and pastries and much more. This former site of an old-school drive-thru convenience store has a fresh new look and is a great addition to the neighborhood. Friendly staff and its own parking lot too.

Yelp
been curious about lavendar and honey cause all the teachers at my sons class drink it! decided to stop by after class one day. it is a cute place that has a lovely menu (i did not take a picture as so many yelpers already have!), they sell small artisanal goodies, and great cofffee. we decided to get the honey bee lattee and it was delicious. now that i've tried this place out, i will definitely be back after our toddler classes! i parked on the street, but i think theres a small lot behind the store.

Yelp
I ordered a yogurt and as you can see by the picture the cup was just 3/4 full. I did ask if they could please put more inside. They had to open a new container to give me more. The manager then got upset at the employee for giving me more. She then proceeded to give me dirty looks, but she did not say anything or ask what had happened. We just left and will not be coming back. I did email but never received a response.

Yelp
My friend, who is obssessed with all things lavender, came to visit from the Bay Area and so we of course came to this place on a Saturday morning. Appreciate the private parking lot (can imagine it gets filled later in the day) and like the both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely has a modern Bay Area feel, appreciate the fresh pastries, eclectic drinks menu. Staff were friendly enough (although not overly helpful), like most the vibe, would recommend for a chill spot to catch up with a friend, although wouldn't drive out of my way, probably wouldn't hit up on the regular

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop! There's indoor and outdoor seating but during the weekends, expect to wait to sit down as it gets really busy! I absolutely loved their Pasadena toast (avocado toast with sliced red peppers, simple, yet so good). My friend loved their French lavender breve! I tried their cinnamon honey latte, it was okay. Definitely would get the French lavender breve instead!
