After a long search, we found Lavina for a group of seven people. We were warmly welcomed and had a wide selection of food. The dishes were mostly delicious, especially the chef's creations. We were served quickly and also received great advice. We can recommend Lavina to everyone.

Google
Average too high prized food. Carrot cake was fine, but too sweet with too much cinnamon. The pumpkin soup didn’t taste like pumpkin due to the overwhelming amount of coconut cream and spicy spices. The avocado toast with salmon and egg was ok but the avocado spread seemed not very fresh. Won’t return!

Google
Welcoming and buzzing with positive energy - we found this cafe/restaurant when we were looking for somewhere for lunch. The menu is full of appetizing dishes that you know will do you nothing but good, so choosing what to have is a difficult decision. We were a group of six and without exception we loved the food and the place and felt blessed to have found it. The service was wonderful, the food arrived promptly and was fresh and delicious.Thank you Lavinina's for a most enjoyable meal.

I visited as a solo traveler from Hong Kong. I ordered just one vegan egg sandwich and one coffee, but was charged €43.30. When I checked the receipt later, I realized multiple food items were added that I never ordered. It felt like the staff Sonia, deliberately made up orders to overcharge me. To make things worse, when I asked what Portobello meant, the staff lady member laughed at me — I believe she assumed I didn’t understand English. While the food itself was good, the experience left me feeling disrespected and scammed. As a traveler, especially one navigating a new country alone, this was deeply disappointing. I hope no one else has to go through this.

Google
amazing, good portions, good price, tasty, wide range of options (also customizable like adding things or changing them), great service, really cute atmosphere

If you ever find yourself in Amsterdam on a cold and blustery day, I hope you can find your way here… because, if you do, they have a spectacular pumpkin soup! Served with fresh warm bread, this has been the most satisfying meal I’ve had in Amsterdam over the course of the last four days! Bravo Lavinia! And they have delicious cappuccino to boot.

Google
The place is cozy, simple but nice, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is nice and they serve you a decent portion. The waitress was super smiley and very nice, she made the experience 10x better. I can only recommend this place!

Google
The food in general was okay, but we expected way more - based on the prices and the motto to serve local and healthy food. It was very warm inside (although 15 degrees Celsius outside). The avocado toast was quite good, but it could have been more avocado. But the banana pancakes were way too sweet and we could only eat 1,5 of the 3 in a portion (for 15 Euros). The pancakes were partly burned and overall way too dark. We paid 70 Euros for a breakfast for two, but went hungry and disappointed. Although there was not too much going on, no one cared to ask whether we were satisfied with the food.

Yelp
The eggplant dishes were to die for!! The vegan options were very satisfying and kept us full for most of the day.

Yelp
Cute vibe and yummy coffee. The pastries look good as well. I really enjoyed my meal. It felt healthy but also filling. This was my first stop in Amsterdam and I was very comfortable as a non local.

Yelp
I loved this place. The people were so friendly and they had one of those menus where you want to try everything, especially the hot drinks. I opted for the avocado toast equivalent and was very pleased with my decision. The pastry selection behind the counter appeared very appealing but I resisted...this time. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting and was the perfect place to spend a Sunday morning breakfast. There were only a couple of other parties there. A couple of kids played on the floor toward the front while their family dined. This place is recommended by citizenm where we were staying and I haven't been disappointed by any of their recommendations yet.

Yelp
Great place for slow eating. Friendly staff and cosy place to eat and spend a few time in good company

Yelp
I loved finding out about this place when in Amsterdam, as a vegetarian. There were various fresh salads and foods in the case to choose from, and a very nice coffee shop like atmosphere. I would totally go back if I lived there! Worth the out-of-the-way walk for a tourist like me.

Yelp
I found this place walking from the Hermitage Amsterdam museum to the Rijks Museum and was ecstatic. I was starving, needed to get out of the rain and desperate to not have just more pub food or unhealthy, unoriginal, generic food. Lavinia is a charming cafe, the food is fresh, healthy, and perfect for people with special food preferences. I am not a vegetarian but after a week on holiday, I needed something not meat and potato-based and I have the most lovely teriyaki vegetarian bowl with a bowl of coconut curry soup. A lovely cappuccino to warm me up and I couldn't have been happier. When I went to check out I noticed the amazing cakes and breads at the glass cafe display and asked if by chance anything is gluten-free, as I'm gluten-intolerant and I had noticed gluten-free bread on the menu as an option. BINGO, not only did they have gluten-free options, but I had the most amazing orange, ginger cake of my life! I messed up on paying with my card, as I had no cash on me and had just flown in from Switzerland, so no Euros on me, and I forgot to include a tip. I told the girl to ring me up again and she kindly told me it didn't matter and waved me on. I felt horrible as the service had been great. This review is the best I can do to repay her, as I tried to get back later with cash after visiting an ATM, but they had closed at 4pm. Alas, hopefully some kind soul will pay this girl the 3 Euros I should have. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, go here. If you're not and just want a good meal that isn't meat and potatoes, go here. The coffee and cakes are great too, if you just want a cute, kitschy place to stop and rest your wary feet. I loved this place and was so happy to have found it!

Yelp
For a place that builds their name on the promise of 'good food', I found Lavinia to be a complete let-down. The food was anything but good. This is usually compensated by good service, but this place had the worse of both food and service. The menu does indeed feature a lot of vegetarian options. If you're really hungry, you could even combine a few menu options as the portions are really tiny, especially compared to what you pay. For example, when the menu says that you could get an extra toasted pita with your vegan burger, it's a pita as in 'made of wheat'. I have definitely paid less for bit sized rounds of bread elsewhere. Not something I would pay so much for again. In a group of 3, we had two pizzettas and the vegan burger. The pizzettas were tiny and not very lunch-like. Most other places would probably call them appetizer pizzas...and with a lower price point as well. The burger was dry and totally crummy. It was more like a cookie as it was also sweet. Well, the menu did mention that it was made of sweet potato, so the sweetness was expected, but not the tininess and the odd texture. The juices/smoothies were alright, but could have been garnished much better. For desserts, we shared a carrot cake and a piece of the chocolate pie. Again, very dry and kind of bleh. The carrot cake could have used more of a carrot flavor. Both of these actually tasted kind of stale. All in all, very unimpressed at the price as well as the food. On the upside, the area inside is great for sitting in a group.

Yelp
Good food? You mean great food! My oh my! This cosy, hipster-decorated cafe is a must-try with a rich menu: you have oh so many options, from salads to sandwich to (delicious looking) pizzas. I ordered the "Salad bar", so you basically pick out three options from the bar. I ordered the couscous with almonds, the roasted pumpkins, and the roasted eggplants with cheese. The dish is fulfilling, the quantities are good and sufficient. The spices are just right. The price/quantity/quality is on point, the dish was about 9€. On my way out, I couldn't resist taking a dessert on the go, and ending up opting for the energy balls: dates, nuts, coco shreds... you get the point. Going back! For sure.

Yelp
Amazing new spot for Breakfast and Lunch ! Came here for their beautifully decorated açai bowls and amazing interior. My friend was late so I spent my time waiting reading one of the many cook books laying around the cafe - great inspiration for lunch later on ! I could have easily spent all day here, drinking their fresh juices and coffees or eating their homemade salads and baked goods - if only I didn't have chores to do at home ! Will definitely be back again soon to try their banana pancakes :) Orange/Apple/Ginger & Paprika juice Açai Bowl Soy Latte =€15,35

Yelp
This place was incredible! It was recommended to us by our Airbnb host. The restaurant itself has a super homey and relaxing vibe. We went for breakfast on a Monday and there was hardly a crowd. I got Lavinia's breakfast which comes with a small açaí bowl and two small banana pancakes! It was so filling, but a great way for me to try both items. My boyfriend got the scrambled egg with toast and avocado along with a cappuccino. Everything is extremely fresh! Even the orange and carrot juice was delicious!!

Yelp
i wish i could say better things about Lavinia. I really like the place and the soups are some of the best soups I've ever had.. but the service just needs some serious improvements. even so, great cosy place to go.

Yelp
LOTS OF VEGAN FOOD! When I saw the photos of Lavinia on Yelp I knew I had to go there really soon. I also heard that they had a lot of vegetarian dishes so that was another good reason for me to go there. Lavinia is located in the Kerkstraat. This is a cute and quiet street where you would not expect a place like this. Lavinia has great vibe. There are brick walls, a big table, smaller tables, couches and seats at the window. Very nice. When we went there it was not very busy and there were plenty of seats. There are nice decorations everywhere, and this place is even like a concept store since some furniture is also for sale and there is food and other stuff stalled out through the place that is also for sale. A thing you'll notice quite quickly is that Lavinia is about healthy food. This is really an upcoming trend. They have a lot of superfoods, even raw pastries/snacks en raw hot chocolate. Very healthy. Also about 70% of their stuff is vegetarian and there are enough vegan options as well. There are also some fish/meat options. We had a great lunch deal; 3 vegetarian dishes from the buffet for only 8,50. In the buffet there were about 10 choices, like soups, salads and bread with dips. If you wanted a dish that included fish/meat it would be 1,50 extra per dish. I choose a fig/goats cheese salad which was delish, a lovely pumpkin salad and an amazing lentil soup. It was perfect! With this I drank their 'Oranje juice' which was a freshly juiced drink with carrot, ginger, pineapple and more in it. It tasted great and wasn't expensive. (often these drinks cost a lot at other places!) I just love everything about this place. Even though I know i've said this a lot lately about differant places, Lavinia is really special. It is just perfect in every way; price, looks, health and taste. My ultimate new favourite. Go there as quickly as possible.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Busy, yet seated us quickly. Everyone is friendly, well decorated, a bit playful and bohemian with vintage glass windows installed near the rear surrounding the kitchen. Cozy, casual, and well dressed. A mix of hip locals & travelers. The food was delicious, I had the veggie plate that included a tasty beat salad, feta cheese salad + grains (yum yum!) and something that I can't remember :( It was clean and filling, just perfect.

Yelp
I went here for brunch and just loved it. Great vibe, great food and great juices. The food is fresh - inspired by ottolenghi and the river cafe - and consists of surprising combinations that work. I tried all the slow juices on the menu (red, green and orange; traffic light!) and all of them were good. The simple avocado apple and curry oil sandwich bursted with flavour. The salads were lovely too. And they know how to make coffee - an important quality test that too many establishments still fail. We finished our brunch with apple pie (lovely too - this review is getting boring) and a vegan cheesecake (which I hated but my boyfriend loved). Two minor points: - the menu is written in super small print. Not easy to read - even with my reading glasses on (oops ). - staff is not as efficient as I would like, but then again they make up for that in friendliness! I had the best brunch in ages and therefore rate Lavinia at a well deserve 5 stars! I do so hope this place stays as it is now.

Yelp
TLDR: Used to like it before new management messed it up. Still, okay food if you have money to waste. Long Version: The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of what it used to be compared to what it is now. It used to be one of my favourite places for health food in Amsterdam - the location was great... The portion sizes were reasonable and I actually felt somewhat full after eating there... The prices weren't THAT bad for health food... But oh how the tides have turned. They used to fill up the plate with salad for €9.50 and every time I went the portion size slowly dwindled until the same plate was half full. Oatmeal used to be served in a proper bowl. As if that wasn't enough, then the prices increased and after that I was just like 'nope, not coming back here'. Also I pity the man who tries to send food back. Once my mom sent back a pizzetta because the edges were burnt (really really burnt) and instead of bringing a new one they literally cut the edges off and sent back the plate. Nice going, guys.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Had to order just from the available salads that day. Arrived at 3:30 thinking I could order off the menu but the 4pm close time is strictly enforced. All organic and gluten-free options...incredibly wonderful and can't wait to return

Yelp
If you have allergies, vegan or gluten intolerant, this is a great place as their menu really caters to those needs. Otherwise, it is an ok cafe with decent food, great ambiance and very slow service. Food: 3/5 I had the vegan spelt pizza - it was more like a flat bread with crispy bottom and I thought it was very tasty. The ingredients were fresh, though it was on the small side (even for me). Guy C. had the skinny crab burger and it was very disappointing and on the bland side. It is skinny because there is no bread. The juices here are very tasty and fresh, and they had an appealing selection of baked goods so perhaps drop by for a snack and not a meal. Service: 2/5 The place was packed around 1pm on a Saturday, and there were 3 waitstaff standing around not really doing anything. We sat down and were never given a menu despite trying to get their attention and having sat there for over 15 minutes. In the end, I got up and grabbed a menu from another table. Quite literally 2 mins later, someone came by to take our order. In a separate incident, there were 2 people sitting at a 4 person table and there was a long line of people coming in and trying to grab a seat. At no point in time did the staff kindly ask these 2 people if they could clear out those 2 seats for someone else. In the end, one of the people coming in approached the two people and asked. I know that Dutch service is typically pretty poor, and this certainly wasn't there worst service I've received but seriously? Even with my lowered expectations, it felt as if the staff just weren't interested. Need a menu? Get it yourself. Not enough seating? Eat somewhere else. Atmosphere: 4/5 If you could eat atmosphere this would be the place. Signs you are in a hip, cool place: -exposed brick -industrial piping on the ceiling -eclectic mix of artsy books, organic jams, hand-crafted pottery: all for sale Value: 2/5 It was a terrible value considering the portion size and the terrible service. I'm not sure if I would ever come back unless I was with a vegan.

Yelp
Lovely place for some tasty healthy food. Chai latte with almond milk - thought it would be sweet, but not at all. It was tasty, but a little less nutmeg would have been preferred. Veggie pizzetta w hummus - this was good. It was a little dry as there is no tomato sauce, but the pomegranate adds enough juice. Vegan pesto with veggie pizzetta - lovely veggie pizza. Both had such thin and crispy crusts. Loved it. Got the vegan brownie for dessert. This was not good. I haven't had a vegan brownie before, but this tasted like dark chocolate/ bakers chocolate, with a bit of flour and nuts. It was very dry and very very healthy tasting. The yogurt, berries and dried kiwi that topped it were really good. The yogurt wasn't enough moisture for the brownie. Should have gotten another baked good - they had some really good looking ones. It's a cute place on a quiet street.

Belinda Z.

Yelp
Super cute cafe/breakfast spot with really nice staff, but the food was just ok. But maybe we ordered the wrong thing - we got the shakshouka, and while the egg was cooked nicely and the hummus was good, the sauce was mainly just bell peppers and it didn't have the mix of flavors we were expecting. Perhaps we should have ordered something more local!
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
Super cute and welcoming cafe, serving light lunch of salads and pizzettas. Practical stuff: Show up at 11:45 to get in for lunch. Make sure to order food right away or you will be sitting there with you drink for quite a while. The food: I tried two spelt crust pizzettas - the salmon and the lamb. I loved the light, thin, crispy crust that was browned on the edges. These are not like Italian pizzas - they don't have tomato sauce and cheese. The salmon one was like salmon sushi on a thin crust. The pickled ginger was laid on a bit thickly, so I just picked off some of it. The lamb was spot-on. The flavors melded nicely and were set off perfectly with a spot of sauce and sprinkle of arugula.

Yelp
I'm glad this brunch place is here, right next to the children's theater De Toverknol, because it's nice to grab food right away after seeing a show. They are kid tolerant, not kid friendly - they don't offer crayons and toys or anything but they don't glare at you if your two year old runs around a little. It's also nice that they offer healthy food on their limited menu, because it's hard to go too wrong here. On the down side, the portions are super small and the prices are high. We're talking €11,50 for 3 silver dollar sized pancakes and a glass of apple juice. My 2 year old didn't want to eat any of it, probably because the pancakes lacked the requisite powdered sugar. There was barely a drizzle of syrup on them either. It's like they are trying to protect you from sugar too. I wish they at least had french fries on the menu, since you can always count on your kid eating those, but that was probably also too unhealthy to be included. All in all this cafe is ok. If I didn't happen to be visiting the theater I probably wouldn't come here again though.

Yelp
Such a great find!!! The service was quick and friendly and the food was DIVINE. I had the truffle spelt pizza with arugula and a mimosa. What a treat!

Yelp
Good restaurant, great decoration and tasty pizzetas. A bit overpriced but if you are looking for a breakfast that is a bit different, this is the place to be. Don't miss the good juices (beetroot ginger) or green (pineapple spirulin and spinach). A bit overpriced but still really enjoyable.

Leticia C.

Yelp
Amazing chill vibes. beautiful decor. get the scrambled egg toast and add avocado and salmon. and the croissant!!! the waitress was super nice

Yelp
Cozy cafe that's great for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee and a short walk from the museum district. Lavinia has small tables for diners as well as a communal table that's great for solo visitors. I came in the afternoon, and some people were reading or working on their laptops. The menu is very vegetarian and vegan friendly ranging from meatless meatballs or vegan brownies. Card only, and American Express is not accepted.

Yelp
Eating at this restaurant was the moment I realized I wholeheartedly loved Amsterdam. I was exploring the city on my own with this destination in mind but only had my tourist map and an address. Walking through the Bloemenmarket, past hundreds of canal houses, and finally onto Kerkstraat, I backtracked and found this lovely gem. The food: Open faced sandwiches. I wish more places did open faced sandwiches! You could pay extra for the second slice of bread. It did not come with any sides so take it as a light lunch. You eat the sandwich with a fork and knife. All the ingredients were very well handled and selected. Everything had great flavor. The atmosphere: Eclectic and fun. There is care in what is placed in this location but lacks a central theme that would make it seem contrived. The air buzzed with the sound of Dutch as friends met to catch up. I could not give this place five stars because it wasn't as good as it gets, it is definitely a wonderful place to have lunch and I am certainly a fan. The sun was shining, I had a window seat and a table I could write in my notebook on while eating my meal. It was a perfect afternoon. I know this experience is very specific, but I will forever thank Lavinia's for the hour of peace. Notes: Had an English menu, servers spoke English (I hate not knowing Dutch!). Order at the counter. They do take away.

Yelp
It took a second trip here to finally get in, but it was well worth it. From the moment I walked in the door I knew it would be great. You can smell all the ingredients being used back in the kitchen and it's immediately obvious you'll be eating something delicious and healthy. The restaurant itself is very cozy and welcoming. I could easily see myself just relaxing and spending a few hours here reading. I found it a bit odd that they close so early, which is why we had to come back a second time. I feel like they could easily stay busy if they were open later. I would love to pop in here in the early evening.

Yelp
After reading through several shining reviews, especially from the Dutchess of gezellig cafes Kim V., I felt like I was going to walk in and be surrounded by a coziness factor equivalent to a box filled with fluffy little kittens (sans allergies). I work very close to this place and a quick stroll down Spiegelgracht and I'm on Kerkstraat.... the church street where you can find anything from bike parts, leather spandex underwear and cute cafe's like Lavinia. True to everyone's word, this place is THE definition of hello kitty kawaii cute. Old wooden tables, mismatch chairs, knick-knacks on the wall like you'd find in granny's country home. If I had to rate this place on gezelligheid, incorporating the factor of the amazing aroma of home baked pastries being made in the back and freshly brewed coffee, you've got yourself a 5-star cafe! However, as a wise Yelpper once taught me in my duckling infancy era of Yelp, "you cannot eat atmosphere". The selection of veggie dishes was ok but I ended up picking the only three that looked good (great for the indecisive). I tried to get the soup as one of my three like I read in other reviews, but now it is not possible. The red pepper coconut soup sounded great so I got that in addition to orange juice. The soup was a yummy version of a thai soup filled with bean sprouts and my three selections, including quinoa salad, aubergines with hummus and quail eggs with potatoes, were all equally yummy, but not outstanding. The bill came to 16 EUR and while I'm not the penny pincher, it all seemed a little much for a small lunch. While paying the bill, I also saw 4.50 for a slice of appeltaartje or a slice of banana bread... Trust me, I would sell my liver (albeit not so functional because of alcohol consumption) to pay for amazing food, but I didn't feel like I got my money's worth today. Long review short, if I'm in the veggie mood, I will come here and skip the soup, and enjoy the cute atmosphere while munching on healthy food, but it won't be a priority stop.

Yelp
A amazing cozy and friendly place to enjoy organic and veggie food. Definitely one of the great place to have a brunch in Amsterdam + : If you are looking for a nice place to have a healthy breakfast or lunch, search no more Lavinia is the place. This is above all a unique atmosphere : large wooden table, warm deco and surrounding that makes you want to take your time and relax, delicious smell of freshly baked cake...all the ingredients to almost make you feel at home. Pallet-wise their selection of salads is full of colors and taste using all kinds of great vegetables and home baked delicacies : we had a beatroot salad, chickpeas marinated in great sauce and a fine quiche. Their yogurt and granola combination is exquisite and is a perfect match with their red fruits salad. When all food was presented in front of me I had a feeling it was a setting for a cookbook shooting :) Coffee is great as well. They only had espresso and short drinks... but we asked for a larger strong Americano and they tailored it for us with a big smile. - : Just one small downside, the pastry we tried was no up to the rest of the brunch :( Maybe was the wrong pick...just try to avoid their cheesecake. Definitely one of the greatest brunches I have tried in Amsterdam.

Yelp
I continue to struggle with the desire to keep all my 'jewels of life ' to myself or to share with friends and followers. First of all, I grant all those nice people with great companies many commercial customers and secondly, sharing is much more fun than keeping it to yourself. So here it is: LAVINIA Lavinia is the main character in Virgil's Roman mythology of Aeneis. The name carries the beautiful meaning 'purity'. It suits the special breakfast-brunch and lunch spot of the Hessing-Philipse couple, very well. Except that this eatery is named after their daughter, it absolutely covers the whole experience of where their food and interior stands for. This week the hard-working couple, also known for their very popular catering company 'Food Fantasies, opened the doors of their new establishment. I tried their special three small pizzas; one with homemade salmon, wakame, wasabi and ginger. A second with mushrooms, arugula, pecorino and truffle oil. The third, with the most wonderful, exceptional combination of Caesar salad with anchovies and egg. In addition, a very healthy beetroot juice. Everything is nutritiously prepared and the ingredients come directly from the farmer. The entire contents of the interior are additionally for sale. From the chairs you sit on to the dishes where you eat from, well stocked cupboards with delicious cooking ingredients, cookbooks, the wonderful chains of Jehanne de Biolly and bags from San Esteban, and so much more. Always wanted to try detoxing ? They organize four weeks of detoxification, containing meetings, speakers and guidance. On Sunday, they serve a real brunch buffet. And would you like to book Lavinia for exclusive use or catering offsite .... anything is possible! Lavinia Kerkstraat 176, Amsterdam Open wednesday till sunday from 10-18 hours +31-(0)20-6261450 (office) For coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch.

Yelp
Great place to have a relaxed and healthy lunch. Portions are not large but filling because they are HEALTHY!!!! Relatively priced as well and in a decent location, "off the beaten path". Sit back, relax and enjoy the vibe!

Yelp
Absolutely freaking ah-mazing place. Our food was so fresh. There was a party in my mouth. Super lovely staff too. Styling is way cool. Definitely worth a visit and only a short 5 minute walk from the centre of town. We'll be back for breakfast tomorrow! :)

Yelp
What a horrible place to eat! If you want to have good food in the area please stay away from this spot! P.s service is also a horrible experience. YIKES!!!

Bettina B.

Yelp
We are always looking for a good place to eat gluten free (our son has celiac). This is an amazing place and the food is great. Thank Lavinia for a great time on a rainy day in Amsterdam.

Emma L.

Yelp
Loved it!!! I had the best overnight oats that I have ever had! They don't skimp on the fruit or oats, it was very fulling but in a good way. Also would recommend the coconut matcha latte or any of their hot drinks! It's a great place with some fantastic gluten free and vegan options!

Yelp
I love this place. It's a perfect lunch spot for vegetarians and vegans. I got the avocado sandwich (without egg and salmon it's vegan) and it was delicious. I also loved the sides I tried - quinoa salad and sweet potato dishes were so tasty. For dessert, my friend and tried several of the vegan cakes. They were amazing. We loved the rose-flavored one, sticky toffee, coconut...you can't go wrong. Definitely check this place out.

Yelp
Cute, rustic little restaurant serving up healthy food! I had no luck finding gluten free pancakes in the pancake capital of the world, so when I came across this little gem, I marched in and ordered myself some banana, GF pancakes. They were delicious as was the home-made mint tea. If ever in Amsterdam again I would definitely return!

Yelp
Fresh food, healthy and good service. It can be hard to eat well (healthy, vs decadently), when traveling. Places like this are a good find.

Yelp
Really cute cafe with great healthy options in Amsterdam. I got the Acai bowl and my friend got the gluten free banana pancakes and both were really great. Hadn't had an acai bowl in a while so I was extremely pleased. Their almond chai was not my favorite though.

Yelp
Really really good food and good service. I ordered the banana pancakes and my sister got the quinoa porridge. It was quite pricey but it was worth it!

Yelp
Ordered the smoothie bowl, unfortunately it was nothing like I am used to in the U.S. I prefer more fruit in my bowls, but to me it just tasted like plain yogurt. However, service was good and the french toast I tried was delicious.

Yelp
I had a salmon, wasabi mayo, ginger and wakame pizzetta. It was amazing. Also amazing atmosphere

Yelp
My wife and I came here for breakfast and were absolutely delighted with healthy and yummy food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The orange juice with paprika, apple, ginger and lemon was delicious and refreshing. My wife had the green tea with coconut milk which she loved. We both had the breakfast sandwich which was very healthy and delicious. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

Yelp
Lavinia got the nicest staff possibly. I enjoy the drinks, soup and granola here. Prices are a bit high. Nevertheless always a great experience.

Yelp
Hmmm.... I read so many great things, so I guess I was disappointed. They didn't have the meat add ons.. so it was basically some rice and veggies and a small soup for 13.50 euro for lunch. The waitress was completely clueless, but I guess trying her best? I liked the soup and the veggie platter was just average. The vibe in the place is the expected cozy eclectic hipster style veggie place. I will probably try it one more time since I work close by and we didn't get to try some of the raw chocolate.

Yelp
Healthy food can taste good. I've experienced it at many other places and even in my own kitchen. But my time at Lavinia testing their vegetarian and other pseudo-healthy, veggie-filled dishes reminded me of why a lot of people say healthy ingredients can't be tasty. I read a lot of reviews before my visit and expected this place would at least be decent, but no matter how many things I tried, I was disappointed. I sampled several different items from the case and even tested out a few desserts with the people I came with, but I nonetheless left this place hungry and unhappy. As others mentioned, the decor was spot on and lovely. The staff was also good, but all that could not make up for the lackluster food. It was indeed meh at best.

Yelp
Loved this place. Atmosphere and food is excellent. As a vegan, it was nice to have choice. Delicious pizza with eggplant and hummus. YUM.

Yelp
Fantastic little breakfast place. Not necessarily your standard fare but really fresh and tasty. They do not accept cash, which came as a surprise.

Yelp
Great find! This cafe is tucked in a little side street. I found it by accident and I couldn't be happier. The yoghurt oatmeal and fresh fruit was amazing for breakfast.
