LAWSON Kawaguchiko Station

The legendary Lawson of mt Fuji. Come on a weekday and be early as there is a lot of people taking photo. Walking distance from the bus terminal, here is the place to buy all the things you need for your walk or snack during a short stay or overnight supper. Abit chaotic at some time but this shop has lots of choices of hot food that is not available at other convenience store. Weekend more crazy crowd. Please stay safe and look out for cars. For a more local shoot without the Lawson, the left alley looks nice too.

Lawson Kawaguchiko is a great spot to grab a quick bite or drink—plus you get an amazing view of Mount Fuji right outside! Super convenient, clean, and perfect for a short break during your trip. Simple store, unforgettable backdrop.

The view of Mt. Fuji behind this Lawson is absolutely iconic and just as pretty as it looks in the photos but due to its proximity to the Kawaguchiko station its extremely crowded. If you want a quieter experience, there are other Lawsons further around the lake. Do try the Egg Sando here, its perfect for a quick breakfast. Would recommend visiting here early in the morning if you want to avoid the heaviest crowds.

This place has gotten a bad name becoz of social media. Its scenic but spoiled with the crowds. See my video and u will know why. Thank goodness for generative AI that can remove all those annoying clowns that stray into your frame. Zzzz.. Don't even think about going into Lawsons. Tsk tsk.

It just too crowded. Even grabbing a quick drink took some time. The cashier was really nice and proficient jn english. Everyone wanted to take pictures. It is an iconic photo but the people were pushing each other around in order to get a perfect shot. It was just annoying. I think the earlier the better.

This location is iconic for the view of Mt. Fuji above the store, so the sidewalk is usually crowded with photographers. Being so close to Kawaguchiko Station, the shop stays busy. If you are just looking for a quick bite, I actually recommend the 7-Eleven opposite this branch—we found their fresh food selection to be much better.

So crowded can't take a decent photo but I totally understand on where everyone is coming. It's definitely a famous tourist attraction

Very packed, full of tourists. You can hardly get a solo shot in. And yes the have covered the walk way so people dont stand on the roads to tale pictures.
