Lax. Retreat

Tried the seated massage “best of both worlds”, I’d give it a 8/10. The spa is beautiful, super aesthetic environment. All the staffs are lovely and they were very accommodating to us. The best spot for a girls relaxing day out! Worth the splurge for special days

You are really paying for the brand rather than anything premium, because the experience does not match the price. There was basically no real service. They asked me to fill out a form about my skin condition but never addressed any of it. They asked me to pick an essential oil, then left me standing at the counter trying to lift and test each bottle on my own. While booking, they pushed for add ons. I added an underarm wax, but the staff later told me my scrub and massage should have come first and they were not sure why I had been scheduled the other way around. The worst part was choosing the modern lulur, the Lax Signature. It was a huge letdown. The massage lasted only about 30 minutes while the scrub went on for an hour and a half. My skin ended up dry and flaky because they over scrubbed. I had to lie there in the cold and they kept asking me to turn over again and again. I have never experienced such an inexperienced and uncoordinated service. The atmosphere feels cold, there is no communication, and nothing seems planned. It is overhyped for its aesthetic and branding, which is disappointing. If you are going to pay prices like these, go somewhere that actually delivers. There are many upscale places that match their pricing with service.

I had an amazing experience at Lax during the Acai Affairs event last Sunday. The space was clean, beautifully designed, and very aesthetically pleasing. The dish served was absolutely delicious! looking forward to join more events and visit Lax again!

I can’t thank Belle enough for her amazing work! My hair was very short due to my Brazilian laser sessions, but she still managed to remove everything perfectly. She was so gentle, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. I’m getting married soon, and she really saved me by making sure I felt confident and smooth. Highly recommend Belle for anyone looking for the best service!

Pretty place, friendly staffs. The treatment is pricey but.... unfortunately it is so worth it. I didn't want to like it so much but it is THAT good. I really enjoyed my massage by Hayati. They started off by asking you to fill a short questionnaire, change and choose your oil, room fragrant and music (you can even choose your own) then after you're done, you get a pot of herbal tea. Overall experience is comfortable, relaxing (masseuse are not unnecessarily chatty when they know you want to relax) and hygienic (disposable underwear, the bed is lined wt disposable liner) and if you're a little shy you'll be safe to know the staff will keep things modest by not over exposing you. Also they are not pushy for you to join the club, I appreciate it very much. No hard selling at all.

1/11/2025 at 11am – Extremely Disappointed! Visited on 1 Nov 2025, my first time here. I went for a 1-hour leg massage (RM165) at 11 a.m. Honestly, the price is way too high, but I decided to give it a try just to see how good it is. Unfortunately, it turned out to be my first and last visit. The massage was only up to the knees, focusing mostly on the front of the legs, with very little attention to the calves or back area — which actually have a lot of muscle tension. After the session, I immediately shared my feedback with the front counter staff because I was seriously disappointed. I’ve tried many massage places before, and this one is by far the worst, especially considering the price. For comparison, the masseurs at Sungei Wang are so much better, more skilled, and charge way more reasonable rates. Don’t be fooled by the nice ambience — the service, skill, and value here are all terrible. Definitely not worth it!

I did the Modern Lulur (Lax Signature) with Kamal and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, my time there was so relaxing and enjoyable. Kamal was incredibly accommodating and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire session. Her massage technique was heavenly — I truly felt every bit of stress melt away. Everything was just perfect. I walked out of the spa feeling so fresh, glowy, and completely recharged. Can’t wait to come back!

Top notch service. I love it so much and I think I will be a repeat customer for sure. Came for The Lax Signature Massage 90 mins and my therapist Lola went above and beyond to make me feel relaxed, taking really good care of me throughout the session. Made me feel so relaxed that I dozed off, which is amazing. Felt so rejuvenated and definitely gonna give some points to the ambiance too 💗
