Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB) is an absolute gem in the heart of Jaipur! Located in Johari Bazaar, it’s a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Rajasthani food and sweets. I tried their Rajasthani thali, and it was a feast of flavors — dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, and more, all served fresh and with that true homely taste. The portion size was generous, and the service was quick despite the crowd. Their sweets section is legendary — especially the paneer ghewar, rasgulla, and sohan halwa. Everything was fresh, rich, and packed in hygienic boxes, ideal for gifting or travel. The ambiance is old-school and classy, with a clean dining area and polite staff. Yes, it’s a little pricier than regular sweet shops, but the quality and legacy make it worth every rupee. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, LMB is a timeless culinary experience you shouldn't miss in Jaipur!

LMB is honestly a Jaipur icon. I’d heard so much about it before my trip, and after visiting, I can say... the hype is real. The moment you walk in, that warm, rich aroma of desi ghee just pulls you in.Their Rajasthani sweets are pure magic. The ghevar is the star... crispy yet soft, sweet but not overpowering, and just melts in your mouth. You can tell it’s made the traditional way, with no shortcuts. And then there are the kachoris… oh my. Perfectly flaky on the outside, with that spicy, flavour-packed filling inside. Badam Milk is refreshing and must try tooo..

Oh I love it so so so much. That’s good place to try Indian sweets but you also can order good food. Samosa is perfect and another dishes as well. Very fast and friendly staff. Btw sweets are pretty good but just few tables without any chairs 😬

Very bad to see that LMB restaurant making their food rates very very high. They are serving 2 small bati pcs and limited churma with bad taste of dal in rs.520 ... when i shared feedback they said that its tourist place .. shock to hear. Instead of this visit RAWAT MISHTAN BHANDAR. Very good rates.. right now seating in LMB with a great shock.... dont waste your hard money in LMB food... VERY VERY HIGH RATES WITH VERY LESS PORTION SIZE OR QUANTITY OF FOOD. ALSO VERY UNHYGENIC. (Flying bee in food) and i am surprised when i highlighted to their restaurant operations manager, he said that sir sorry ho gaya hoga and hum airf sorry hi bol saktein hain. Very bad experience. rgrds.

The place and food is hygienic. The variety of food and snacks is really wide and impressive. The shop opens at 7 in the morning, but some of the dishes, like their famous Onion Kachori were not available even at 9 and they said that It'd take another hour for them to arrive, which was a bummer. Most of the other famous items weren't available as well. The food was really delicious and the quality of food is evident from the first bite you'd take.

So I recently visited LMB in Jaipur and tried quite a few items – pyaaz kachori, kala gulab jamun, dal baati churma, paneer paratha, and of course, their famous ghewar. Honestly, I didn’t enjoy any of them 😕. The place feels overhyped and overpriced 💸, and I genuinely don’t understand the long waiting lines just to get a table 🧍‍♀️⏳. The food lacked flavor and freshness, and nothing stood out for me taste-wise. With so many amazing food spots in Jaipur, this one was a big letdown 👎. ❌ Not recommended — definitely better places around that serve tastier food without the crowd or the hype.

We're reviewing the sit down restaurant (there's a counter service sweets shop at the restaurant) where we ate lunch on 3 occasions. As older travelers we have to be a bit more cautious than we were 40-50 years ago. This restaurant worked wonderfully for the 3 of us. It's pure vegetarian with a large selection of plates to choose from. All of our choices rated at least "good" to excellent for the two different Thalis they offered. Some of the dishes could have seasoning adjustments but not all. We had one non-spicy in our group and two no worries we like spicy. None of what we ordered came out sweat inducing why-did-order this hot. We particularly enjoyed the missi roti bread which doesn't show up on menus very often back home. The service was fast and efficient. The senior steward guided our choices. All in a very solid good restaurant.

Came for the desserts! The Indian sweets were amazing. You can get an assortment of you choosing in a box... they shrink wrap it on the spot for you. Great for gifts and such. Tried the cakes.. not impressed though. Definitely a cool dessert spot in town.
