Layalina Hotel

Absolutely wonderful stay at Layalina. A traditional Thai boutique hotel that feels like a world away from the huge resorts. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything Kamala has to offer but in a quiet spot so you can relax. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Cleaned daily. The staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was great, freshly made for you, served at a time of your choice and a good selection on the menu. The pool is never busy and the beach is a couple of steps away. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10

Staying at Layalina Resort in Kamala has been one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. I originally planned to stay for two nights, but I ended up staying for six — that’s how incredible this place is. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warm smiles that never fade, and you feel the calmness of the ocean immediately ease your mind. The location is perfect, right on Kamala Beach, with stunning views of the water, gentle waves, and sunsets that make you pause and simply appreciate being alive. The staff here are exceptional, going out of their way every single day to make you feel at home. My room was cleaned thoroughly each day, and every time I returned, it felt fresh and welcoming, with attention to detail that many hotels overlook. The pool access and sea view from my room made each morning and evening something to look forward to, whether it was enjoying coffee at sunrise or listening to the gentle waves at night. As for the negative reviews I saw before coming here — they’re complete garbage. This place is the best you can stay at in Kamala if you truly want a peaceful beachfront experience with genuine people around you. The smiles, the calmness, the soft sand right at your doorstep, and the quiet luxury of Layalina make it a place you won’t want to leave. If you’re thinking about visiting Kamala, don’t hesitate. Stay at Layalina. You will not regret it.

The team at Layalina Hotel are truly some of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever dealt with. Their communication was warm, professional, and full of care, you can tell they really value their guests. I’m already looking forward to staying here in 2026 and experiencing the beautiful hotel in person. Highly recommend their exceptional service and hospitality! 💛

Cant give this beautiful hotel any less than 5/5.It was our last stay in Thailand and just got to say the most relaxing.We had a pool access room that looked right over the beach and we could sit on our verandah and watch the world go by and watch people taking notice of where we were staying.Walking distance to all the markets and restaurants.The room is lovely and clean.The bed unfortunately was very hard but we got by.Great fridge and mini bar.Spa bath in the room which we didnt use but it was the best shower we had in 23 days being hot and good strength.Breakfast was included and you could either eat at the lobby or on your balcony.You made your choices the night before and what time you wanted it and it was there.Good range of foods but no bacon as it is a muslim owned hotel but there was chicken bacon and sausages for an option.Pool was a good temperature and never busy.Plenty of sun lounges at all times of the day.Wish we had more than the 3 nights there as I could have stayed a lot longer

Location is amazing Bed was hard as a rock Bathroom layout could be much better! Location and view amazing Id put Location again but you get the point.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, will come again if we’re in Kamala again! Staff were amazing and helpful. They’ve got two beautiful friendly cats too which was quite amazing to have around.
