Island escapes easily reached from Singapore - SilverKris

"A quiet southern-island beach escape known for its powdery white sand, calm blue waters and minimal crowds, ideal for picnics, swimming and family-friendly water sports such as kite-flying, beach volleyball and snorkeling. The island is also home to many friendly stray cats. Access is straightforward by ferry from nearby piers or via the walking causeway from a neighbouring isle, and while the islet itself is uninhabited there are now tiny rental units available for overnight off-grid stays. There are no food stalls on site, so visitors should bring their own provisions." - Claire Knox and Levin Tan

Lazarus Island is a peaceful, green haven for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. It's quiet, pet-friendly, and ideal for activities like fishing and picnics. While you’ll need to bring your own food and drinks, the island's natural beauty more than compensates for the lack of amenities. For those wishing to stay overnight, there are several lodging and camping options on nearby St John’s Island. Alternatively, you can book a cozy tiny home from “Tiny Away Escape” or enjoy a glamping experience with "Into the Woods" on Lazarus itself, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers.

A nice quick getaway. Do come prepared with own food, water, folded chairs and sunscreen. Some toilet and shower facilities but that’s about it. As of this posting, Marina south ferry service did allow pet dog aboard. That said, do double check when booking. 😊 walkable to St.John Island. In total spent about 3hrs (0930am-1230pm)

It took around 35 minutes from Marina South Pier to reach St John island by ferry. It tooks around 10 minutes walk from this island to lazarus island. This is a very unspoiled island with very clean and clear beach to swim or sunbathe. You need to prepare your own food, water and picnic stuff. There are no shop here to serve you.😅 Good for picnic, walk, and enjoy the beach.
