Picturesque, quiet and worth the walk from Saracen Bay. Personally, I’d suggest taking a screenshot of a Google Map satellite image of the island and follow the ‘roads’ rather than the signposted dirt trail which is bit sketchy in places. Limited or no phone signal on the west side of the island, but you can get WiFi and a drink at the Beach Bar Lazy Beach

From the north part of Saracen Beach, there's a path next to Sara resort that isn't marked on Google Maps. Then it's a walk on concrete, red dirt track, loose stones and rubble up and down a hill, then a jungle path which can be muddy. You come out at the Lazy Beach Hotel. From Sara to Lazy took 30mins. Definitely wear shoes. The best snorkeling is at the rocks to the north of the beach, which is another 10min walk along the beach. The snorkeling is ok - reef is nice, small groups of the usual tropical fish, but it's close to rocks and the visibility if there's any waves is poor. The north part of the beach is not cared for and full of mounds of trash. Saracen Beach is a much nicer beach, less waves, more gradual steep. The snorkeling or beach is not worth the walk over. If you are going to cross over, go purely for the sunset. Didn't go to sunset beach so not sure if that is better.

A lovely beach to spend a few hours, or longer if you like a quiet and peaceful stay. The water is clear and warm, the beach bar is excellent and the trees provide some shade on the beach. Beware of the mini jellyfish when you go in the water, depending on the current and winds. If you’re coming from Saracen Bay, it is an easy 35-45 min walk, mostly over gravel and some jungle. I’d advise not to wear flipflops.

Beautiful wild beach. I recommend coming here first thing in the morning before other people arrive. You will have the beach to yourself and it’s beautiful. The water is not really blue more of a greenish shade but still nice.

Since way over a decade we have send our guests from our hotels in Siem Reap to Lazy Beach. Everyone loves it! FINALLY, two days ago we got to visit. And now we understand what the fuzz is all about! SUCH an amazing place!! We had already booked with our friend on the other side, but will definitely also try out to stay here next time! LOVE IT!

Absolutely beautiful beach! Due to being on the other side of the island, there’s no rubbish or wind. The sand is so soft and the sea very calm and lovely to swim in. It was never crowded and felt like such a lovely paradise! It’s about 20 minutes walk from near Sara resort on Saracen bay and can be done easily in flip flops.

Unmissable beach on this island. We spent a perfect day here. The beach is almost empty, the water is perfect to swim in and there is a restaurant that is part of the guesthouses here that serves decent food. Originally we tried to stay at the bungalows but they were sold out for the dates we needed. We ended up staying at Saracen bay and walked over - I’m glad we did as we have now been able to explore more of the island. If we have time we will definitely be going back.

Everything in one place... gorgeous beach, decent reef for snorkeling, very spacious facilities for everyone and not crowded even when it was busy. I stayed in a 2bed bungalow with AC -- pleasantly designed, very comfortable, and basically on the beach. Food was delicious, and my vegan friends were delighted with their options. Pad Thai with tofu - amazing! Don't miss the onion rings either. Wow.
