Yelp
Churchill is a landlocked Town and is only accessible by Train or Plane. There aren't a lot of people here and the economy to a significant extent depends on tourists who are here to see the Polar Bears, Beluga Whales, and the Northern Lights. There's also a seasonal port here.
The Lazy Bear Lodge (of which I hung out) is a nice place among a modest choice of accommodations within Churchill. And the right precautions are take to keep the Bears at Bay. Lodge services include 33 log cabin rooms, free train/plane pickup, phone, wi-fi, private bath/shower, no smoking, cable television, the Lazy Bear Café (of which I dined), and the Wapusk Store (of which I shopped). In other words, you get all the comforts of home in the middle of the wilderness.
