5/10 - Can’t give this anything more than 2/5. Owners-if you are reading this, which I hope you are, I’m not saying you run a bad hotel, however there are definitely some things that need your attention ASAP. The good-the bathroom was clean, towels were clean and nice to use, carpet was vacuumed good, inside drawers and shelves were clean, fridge and microwave were clean. Coffee maker in room. Very cute exterior of motel with a clean pool, nice flowers, and lots of cute bear statues which I loved. There is also a hotel cat with big paws that was adorable😍. The bad-door has been kicked in at some point and had to slam it to shut, and it was loose when it was closed, not a tight seal. The screws holding the door striker to the door were loose and one fell out completely. Don’t think it’s much of an ask to have a safe and properly closing door. Box springs didn’t have a sheet over them-there were gross stains visible and they are yellowed. The top comforter on the bed is clearly from the 90s, and both had hairs all over the underside of them! GROSS! The rest of the bed/pillows were clean and hair free but those top comforters were gross and got thrown on the chair. The mattress did not have a mattress cover on it, just 2 fitted sheets, I have never stayed at a hotel where the mattress is unprotected. Yuck. The carpets also need to be shampooed. Not a dive, but also not great. Would not stay again. Pictures below.
