⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful family night dinner at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar on Friday around 6:30 PM. We were greeted right away, and although we were quoted a wait, it ended up being only about 25 minutes—which honestly felt much faster than expected and was a nice surprise. Our waitress, Jennie, was fantastic—highly recommend her! She was fast, efficient, and immediately brought drinks for the kids, which is always appreciated when dining as a family. I ordered my favorite appetizer of all time (and I highly recommend it): Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice—sashimi-grade tuna poke tossed with spicy garlic crunch on crispy sushi rice with guacamole, drizzled with their housemade umami sauce, topped with fresh jalapeño and furikake. Absolute perfection. I paired it with a glass of Pinot Grigio, and it was a great match. Everyone was happy overall. My husband wasn’t too fond of his entrée—the Sweet + Spicy Sambal Bowl (Lunch Portion). It was a bit heavy on the ginger, especially mixed with the teriyaki, which wasn’t quite his taste. That said, the kids really enjoyed their meals, and the overall experience was positive. All in all, great service, a fun family atmosphere, and we will definitely be back!

We came to Lazy Dog on a weeknight, and while it was moderately busy, we were sat right away and greeted by our waitress shortly after. She was quick to get our drinks in, and we started with the nachos topped with carnitas. Honestly, these might be some of the best nachos I’ve ever had at a restaurant—absolutely unbelievable in terms of flavor, freshness, and the quality of the chips. For entrées, I ordered the New York strip steak with spinach and mashed potatoes, while my wife got the Mediterranean bowl. Both were really good. My only small note is that I wish my steak, spinach, and mashed potatoes had come out a little hotter, but the flavor and quality were still solid. Overall, it was a great dining experience with excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back.

First time trying this place on a sat afternoon. Waited less then 15 min for a seat. Absolutely love the atmosphere not too bright. The menu is felt was a little lacking considering we had 1 vegetarian in our party. We ended up ordering pie tin nachos (they were good) the ceviche (looked mushy not appetizing at all) fettuccine Alfredo (it was ok) a burger (good) and a chicken dinner (good) prices were what you would expect. But overall to cut this review short. This would not be a place we would visit a second time.

Happy holidays from my family to yours This experience was one of a kind, the server Linda has the best hospitality. Guiding us through the menu, making suggestions and arranging the table to accommodate every plate. The decor is festive, the music is cheery and the drinks are always refilled. This is my favorite lazy dog location. This location is an hour from my home. I’d rather come here than the 30 min location near my home. The dessert had multiple layers to it, every bite is an experience chocolate sauce, cookie layer below the brownie, melted marshmallow, and a vanilla scoop on top. Thank you

As always we were happy with our Lazy Dog experience. Not to be confused with those other chains that try to sell you gimmicky low quality food. This place tastes fresh and is worth the price of admission. Dare to walk the path less traveled and order their PB&J burger. Whoever came up with this combo is a food genius. Regardless of what you end up getting make sure you save room for desert. And as always....don't forget to tip your server.

This was my first time eating here and I'd love to go back and try something different! I had the chicken tortilla soup 🍲 bowl with avocado 🥑 and there was so much that I could barely eat my chicken walnut salad sandwich 🥪 and fries 🍟! Mine was the $12 special which have me a lot of choices. Everything was delicious! My daughter had the chicken pot pie 🥧 WOW 😲 it was so big and full of chicken n veggies that she took some chicken pot pie home! Our waiter Matthew was very attentive and made sure none of my food had msg.

One the most welcoming and warm places I've been to. The menu was very elaborate but the server was so patient and helpful that it was a breeze to order. And apparently, when they ask "is this your first time here?" they actually listen. Because the manager brought over complimentary chips (great homemade taste) and dips for first time guests. How wonderful!

I’ll be back! This restaurant is incredible. Definitely one of my favorites. Absolutely have the Old Fashioned. Absolutely have the Huckleberry Apple Pie with Ice Cream. The food was fresh and flavorful, the service kind and responsive. Thanks!

I don't even know where to start, I have so many amazing things to say! The service was perfect, the food was DIVINE, the hospitality was just out of this world. I appreciate that the manager and our server were so kind to us throughout our whole meal. I highly recommend their Tex mex salad, their Cuban sandwich and peach sangria. So good!!!! I am glad we came here, as we were out celebrating our union and wanted to have some good food to eat. We were recommended this place and man do we owe our friends a good thank you for this recommendation. Love to visit Lazy Dog in Valencia, food is always delicious and good portion size. Drinks are well made by the friendly bar tenders. Rose and Alyssa on the weekends are so nice. I recommend this place if you like good food and service.they can handle big parties and are pet friendly. I'm having the chicken parm for lunch.

Meh. We were 4. Each ordered something different. The food quality here is profoundly mediocre. I have visited this place a total of five times in 10 years. Every time has been the same...Totally mediocre food quality. The service is good. The fixtures and facilities are nice. I'll see you in two years lazy dog. Good luck.

FREAKING TYLER THE MANAGER AND MATTHEW THE WAITER ARE AWESOME. Great service and even better food!!! We had a slight problem but these two guys handled it immediately!!!! Next time we come, we will only be requesting Matthew to serve us because he is the LeBron James of servers. Also the manager, Tyler was super sweet and super empathetic. No wonder why lazy dog kills under his leadership. PS. S'mores brownie is a freaking must

My husband and I went to Lazy Dog on a Friday around 8 PM and were seated within 10 minutes. The service was friendly, and the food was reasonably priced and decent, not extraordinary, but definitely good enough for a casual night out.

We always enjoy coming to lazy dog, the food is always top notch! Service is great. You can watch a game in the bar or sit in the main restaurant.

As you can see I like this place. Their regular food is fine. But they have a great Happy Hour with delicious food, nice portions, and good prices. I went recently with friends later in the evening. My friends got regular food while I waited for Happy Hour. I got 4 appetizers and bought my friends' dessert and paid the same amount that they did for their one meal. :) My friend got this berry butter cake situation and it was so good! I got my usually but added the potato hush puppies and those were just ok. I think there are better appetizers to enjoy. Yes you can bring your dog on the patio. But if you do, please make sure it's a dog is friendly/chill. Once a dog lunged at my daughter and barked at her just for walking by. Another time, there was a dog barking at my friend's dog who was just chilling on and off throughout our whole meal.

I am a new fan of Lazy Dog Cafe after today's meal! I ordered the Bison Burger with an upgrade of a small Cesar salad for $5. The quality of Bison was excellent! The whole burger was so tasty! The Cesar salad was also excellent! The flavor of the dressing was perfect! Service was superb! The restaurant was slightly busy but nothing too crazy. I would definitely come back for the Bison burger. They also have these great frozen TV dinners to go for $11 which is a good deal if you don't feel like cooking.

Pot roast was really good presentation wasn't that nice but it was yummy. For the salmon the rice tasted kind of weird and old but the vegetables were rlly good. Salmon was good nothing too special tho. Service was very good especially since it was busy and the waiter checked on us multiple times. I liked the lighting but again air was pretty and pretty loud

My SO and I received a BOGO deal from TmObile. So we came here twice (only one coupon is allowed per table that's why) for lunch to use them. Food - BBQ Bison Meatloaf with mashed potato and spinach - (New) Slow - cooked Poblano Pork with Spanish rice and Blue (Purple) Tamale Cake - (New) Nonaâs Giant Meatball + Baked Pasta - Fried Chicken Dinner with Mashed Potato and Spinach Our food is delicious and flavorful. Food temperature is perfect and we enjoyed our meal. Portions are generous so we took home half of it. My first time to eat a Bison. And I was a sport. It's not 'gamey' or anything. I'm new to this place so I didn't expect it to be like this inside. It's like BJs or Yard House. The place is pretty big with indoor and outdoor dining. Dogs are allowed at the patio. Small bar and only 2 TVs it seems. Happy hour is on the bar only. Servers are very polite and friendly. They come check on you in a timely manner. We would definitely be back.

Lazy Dog is always a good choice, especially if you're bringing your doggo along for the ride. The outdoor seating options are decent here - I've had better at some of their other locations, though. Always feels a bit cramped in their outdoor eating area. They do a great Happy Hour here, both regular and reverse. Love the chicken lettuce wraps. Their red sangria is my favorite, and if you're out with friends, grab a pitcher - they're only $15 on HH, and it's plenty to share. They recently added the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, and this is my new favorite menu item. So many great flavors with crispy rice and fresh tuna - all coming together for one delicious starter. Good dog menu so your doggos can eat alongside you. Nice stop for some great food and drink with your furry friend.

Miss Shannon was the best waitress she totally hooked it up and was super attentive and informative. Not only that the food was amazing! My husband got the fried rice and he's tried the Korean bowl as well and both were amazing. I got the salmon and the spicy tuna crispy rice was super authentic tasting for being an American restaurant. My son got the chicken nuggets and fries and that was also super yummy! I definitely recommend this place especially if you get Miss Shannon as your server! 10/10

They have definitely come a long way since the last time I've been here. Wish they had more locations cuz their food options have been pretty good. We recently came here on a Sat night we had a party of 6 the wait wasn't too bad. Lazy Dog is located in the mall area and plenty of parking. The mall area is nice you can walk around while you wait, shop or even walk around depending on the time you come. We ordered their avocado spicy tuna crispy rice, the queso, brussel sprouts for starters. I have to say the top 2 were the queso and the tuna crispy rice. Super flavorful and generous portions. I also ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of sweet potato tots. So yummy! Our server was very attentive, they have a great selection of appetizers, entrees and drinks. Definitely would come back!

Allen was on fire as a server, and with many items on the menu, he knew the restaurant's food items, and he was able to answer all of our questions about appetizers and main entrees. Allen was personable, prompt, attentive, and he made sure our drinks were never more than halfway empty. Tyler greeted us with a warm welcome, setting a positive atmosphere for our dining experience. We ordered the black and blue burger, which included smoked bacon, blue cheese dressing, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and pickles. This burger ranks among the finest blue cheese burgers we have tasted, surpassing the blue cheese burger at the Yard House restaurant. Apologies to Yard House, but LAZY DOG offers superior blue cheese burgers! Additionally, we tried the bison burger, which was equally delightful, accompanied by lemon pepper tots. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Allen and Tyler for crafting a positive and delicious experience for my family and me. We highly recommend Lazy Dog as a preferred dining establishment, given their diverse menu and excellent customer service.

I just had lunch at the Lazy Dog bar. What a great experience. The service by the Bartender Nicole was great. She was friendly and got out drinks out right away. She was attentive to our order and made sure everything came out the way we wanted it. I highly recommend sitting at the bar next time you visit.

Went there recently with some friends because they are one of the only places around open late Because it's open late it was quite popular as there are not many options. Wait for a table was as quoted. Our server was great - I forget her name - sorry . Everyone likes what they ordered and prices were decent for the food Inside is very loud - even after the restaurant emptied out it was loud which made it hard to carry on a conversation with out repeating yourself . We were also in a booth right next to the kitchen which did not help matters. Friends we went with told me about some hits and misses on recent trips having to do with service . Some things ended up with a large group migrating to a nearby restaurant because nobody wanted to seem to want to seat them even after asking several times If I wanted to have a conversation I would order to go next time

Nice decor, comfortable seating options. I ordered walnut chicken salad sandwich which was delicious. Out server was very attentive. Great place to eat and rest and cool off in a hot summer day.

I'll be generous and give it a 4. Though it's more of a 3.3 - distinction only because of rounding. 3.5 would round to a 4. And anything below would be a 3 Service was good. Ambiance was good. Friendly folks. Their new shrimp appetizer was really good. The ribs were a huge miss. They were more on the dry side and tough. Thankfully there was barbecue sauce to make it flavorful and edible. Skip the ribs. But do get the shrimp

Happy hour is AMAZING! We loved the ambiance of the patio and the chicken lettuce wraps were our favorite. We loved trying the Lazy dog beer flight for $7 and the hush puppies were great too! I highly recommend!

Shannon is the best server here! Whenever my friends and I come in we always sit in her section! Shes served all my friends and family and she never disappoints! She's always on top of it! And she's so kind and sweet and it feels like we're hanging out with our friend when she serves us, love her!!!

always sit at the bar but this time the family sat at a booth. waiters were wonderful and the food was very filling...they serve big portions and the drinks are always changing as well as the menu... they are always making new food options. love the place on our way from Paseo

Not bad for a chain restaurant, it's a little overpriced, but the service is usually very good. The food is pretty consistent. Don't mind the ambience at all. Definitely were checking out if you haven't already.

We love coming to lazy dog and seeing Nicole! We always love seeing at the bar and enjoy the edamame and umami fries! The food and drinks are always great! The vibe here is always welcoming and the service is always the best!

Lazy Dog has gone so downhill & it's sad because this used to be my go to spot for a good meal with friends & family. Food: Sadly, the food here just isn't what it used to be. The portions seem smaller, the food tastes bland, the options are less & all while the menu prices have increased. Tonight, we ordered 2 burgers & a kids meal adding up to $50 which just didn't feel worth it. The burgers were very basic & bland & the kids meal just looked like there was zero effort put into it. We honestly would have been better off going to in n out as the burgers there have more flavor than what was served to us tonight. The service was friendly however the table we were seated at was sticky & gross so that definitely didn't help our experience. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this visit & don't see myself returning anytime soon.

Saturday and Sunday brunch is the best. Shannon is the BEST . We love Kennedy and McCall also.

I had the best experience when I was at the bar here and my bar tender Alyssa was absolutely amazing and so nice. She made me wants to come back here more often. The food was amazing and came out quick.

Tried the crispy wings with barbecue sauce for the first time and they were just OK... If you still want them to be crispy, if you have them tossed, ask for extra crispy. Love my Cajun fries with a twist of lime that they add to it. Make sure you ask for extra Hot because they are notorious for bringing out fries. My server brought me a new hot fries and they were delicious of course I enjoyed my Tex-Mex salad it is well lit with the ability to read your menu without extra light. Music plays in the background, but not too loud. My waitress, Amanda, was really good. I was a bit annoyed that the hostess was going to sit me in the bar without asking if I wanted to sit in the bar. It was a quick correction once I told her no thank you

First time here - driving through. Walked in and seating was available. The place was busy! The waitress was courteous and helpful. She looked stressed - I'm guessing because of how hectic it was. Not a fan of having seating right next to the kitchen. It was super loud. The food was delicious. Especially the corn tortilla soup! I had the chicken pot pie. I'm really sad that the crust was baked onto the bowl. I was chopping it away with my knife and making a mess. Con: Waiting a very long time before we had to ask another waitress to bring our bill.

Service is ok. They have a lot of tables during lunch available. - Cheese Curds 4.3/5 Tasty little balls of deep fried mozzarella. Love the marina sauce it comes with. - Brussels Sprouts 1.7/5 It was VERY salty..... like VERY VERY. If it was seasoned right it would be amazing. - Rack of Ribs 4.7/5 The ribs are tender and it's really good! The fries with some sort of sauce it comes with is a no. But the ribs are a yes! They give more BBQ sauce on the side. - Shrimp Tacos 2.4/5 Sad pieces of shrimp and two tacos. Not worth the plate. - Bison Meatloaf 4.3/5 Everything is pretty soft on the plate other than the crispy onions on top. It has a nice flavor. Add hot sauce to liking for a different taste. Free parking in lot.

I love this restaurant. It never disappoints. Hush puppies and queso dip equals amazement in your mouth. I go about once a month or every other month because of those hush puppies!! They are the best I've had. Going in the afternoon is better, like any other joint, but you can actually hear the person you're sitting with. It does get loud the later it is. I've always had a decent to great server, with the exception of one time, but all other times make up for it.

This marks the halfway spot to meet my parents. Opted to dine here due to its diverse menu offerings. I secured reservations seven days prior and talked with Elijah and Danny, both exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Grateful for the foresight as it seemed like all of Santa Clarita had gathered, making conversation difficult due to the noise. Nevertheless, everyone savored their meals, and the service exceeded expectations. 5/5/24

We just had a great dinner at Lazy Dog. Ari our waitress was excellent! She was so sweet and professional she made our night. Thank you for the great food and service! Great energetic crowd also.

The pork dish was good, the sauce (there wasn't enough of it needed more cause of how good it was), the outsides of the pork and the rice was also good. Sadly the inside of the pork was mid and so was tamale cake. Their drink was so delicious, new favorite drink in the world. This was my dad's order and preferences though. I ordered one of their rice bowls, personally I'm not a big sauce fan so I got it on the side. I love soy sauce but the only soy sauce they offered was their house citrus soy sauce. It was decent? Added a new flavor but was much thicker. Shrimp was coated with breading which I did not like but over all the meal was good. Service good, ambience also good. I do wish there was more dogs though.

Great ambiance whether at the tables or bar area. The good here is the variety of foods on the menu. I go there for the Ahi salad. The bad, the bill can add up easily between two with just the meals and drinks. Add an appetizer for two and expect a pricey bill and don't forget to tip!

This place is great.. we love the food-especially the shareable appetizers. Our server was awesome and so friendly. He kept our drinks refilled and answered all our questions about the food. We also like that they are open to midnight which was nice after visiting Magic Mountain. Highly recommend.

Staying true to my New Years 2024 resolution trying different places at least once, So we yelped a few spots to eat, and my mother in law choose Lazy Dog. I have never been to a Lazy dog, but one time, and that was in March of 2017 for an interview. Moving forward to 2024. We arrived and were seated immediately we chose the booths. Gives us a more comfy feeling while enjoying the atmosphere and multiple servers passing by interacting with everyone. Children laughing at a nearby table made our evening. On with our food, everyone truly had no idea what to order. However, I immediately saw fish and chips. I have been craving this style of plate for some time now, and it truly has been a hit and miss with reviews I have read at numerous locations and businesses. I ordered just 2 pieces of fish due to the size and the large number of fries that come along with it, and Cole slaw. So on to my plate, I ate a few spoke s of Cole slaw. I did not truly care for the apple cider taste in my slaw, which skipped that. My fish were crunchy and big, so tasteful. My mother in law stayed true to her order she had a cheeseburger, lol, and she devoured it. On with my husband's plate, he was totally disappointed in his choice of plate ! He ordered the Bison burger plate all-natural durham ranch grass-raised wyoming bison, havarti, caramelized onion + bacon jam, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, Mayotte jointed with fries. He did not care for the sweetness in his burger , he did not believe a little jam truly goes a long way... Our server was highly busy seemed she was handling more than multiple tables. However, same time, she was hospitable and managed our table fine !

My friends and I came in for lunch today and were assigned an amazing server by the name of "Shannon. " She totally made our lunch experience the best ever! Shannon had a great personality, went above and beyond and endured we were treated like rock stars. She made great suggestions, made sure our orders were perfect and always had our drinks full without us ever asking for refills. What a great lunch!

First time eating here, the manager came out to welcome us and brought us a free appetizer. Our food was really delicious hot and the service was excellent.

Food is good but, don't use to-go if you want hot foot. Ordered to-go and got there at time it was scheduled to be ready. Checked in at front desk and guy went in back and came back to say still working it. I waited in lobby and asked again over 10 minutes and was told my food was picked up by someone else and they started to remake my order 5-10 minutes later they found my original food. Got home and cauliflower potatoes were cold along with my other food. When I order to-go, I want to pick it up hot to bring home right away. I don't want to play the game "where's my food" for 15-20 minutes sitting in their lobby.

We had reservations and were seated with no wait. We had the Campfire Pot Roast which was delicious and more than I could could eat My wife had the trout and said it was great. A very nice evening!

I honestly think Lazy Dog is what Chili's would have evolved to if they kept up. A comfy, really yummy modern American family restaurant. Sorry Chili's... I came with a party of 6 on a Monday night and had around a 20 minute wait. I was feeling a bit sick and needed just soup and the only one they had was the chicken tortilla soup, which was great! Just what I needed. I ordered a side of fruit which was a thick slice of yummy watermelon. I also got a hot water. I had some umami fries which seemed to be the fries with furikake, and they were pretty good. The cajun fries tasted like limon lays. My friend's veggie burger was also super yummy and flavor-packed. Our server (forgot her name) was super sweet and accommodating. Bathrooms are clean and lots of parking in the lot.

Food was amazing and the service was quick & excellent! We were able to be seated quick and it's a holiday. Will be back
