On the Grid : Dough

"Dough Bakeshop is just starting to sink its roots onto the Danforth as the bakery that does it all. You'll find excellent pastries, sweets, loaves and even meals, all baked right in front of your eyes. And your nose, because once you walk in you'll want to figure out what is making that delicious smell!" - Kev Seto

Lazy Dough is a hidden gem! Coffee is rich, the beans are top quality — unbeatable for the price. The bread? Affordable and delicious. But what truly makes this place special is the people. Wherever you go in the world, Koreans shine with kindness — and it shows here. The owner and staff greet you with warm, genuine smiles that stay with you. Sip your drink, sit outside, snap a photo — and before you know it, you’ll be planning your next visit.

Lazy Dough has the best pastries in the city! My favourite is “Pig’s in Blanket” which is beef sausage roll in a bread. Their Croissants are crispy outside fluffy inside and taste amazing :)

Very good bakery. Their savory pastry is very good though I am not the biggest fan of their pan Au chocolate. The only improvement I think they could make is a better oven to warm things up but the pastry is good enough that I come back here regularly despite that.

As a resident of Uptown, I passed by this shop and decided to give it a try. The taste was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I’ll definitely be back for other breads!

We discovered this place while on a walk, this place has the best baguettes and pastries in the neighborhood, perfect balance of crust with bread. Definitely would recommend coming here for the coffee too, great skill, always best steamed milk and perfect crema. Uses hatch coffee beans which is roasted locally too. Will definitely be making this a regular stop for bread and coffee treats! Also their pigs in the blanket is such a treat, would recommend.

Amazing vanilla latte, they brew hatch coffee! The lovely barista let me get decaf without judgement 😅 I also enjoyed the pigs in the blanket. The chocolate croissant left me wishing for more chocolate.

Decent coffee, pastry and friendly staff! Their croissants are super flaky and buttery! You can tell they don't wanna save any money to make it to perfection! They also choose Hatch coffee, a quality-guaranteed specialty coffee roaster, and may serve different beans day by day. I love the cortado they served today and high quality milk is a plus! Will definitely come back again for more treats and good coffee!

My order was a five star! I ordered the Cinnamon Cruffin, Almond Croissant and Financier. Delicious!! I am ready to make another order. The items are pricey no question but can not deny it is good. I have not eaten an Almond Croisant before so, I really was happy my bites were all worth it. The only item I was like WTH was the Financier. It is smaller then the palm of my hands and cost $4.10 for one! I was like hot damn but, I took a bite and loved it wishing it was a size of a loaf then the tiny I got. Nonetheless, it's about taste and I would definitely order again. I ordered by Uber Eats delivery. I was doing a hard search on specific items in pastries and stumbled upon Lazy Dough and I am glad I did. I would recommend a visit or an order via delivery and I feel you will like it too. The Cinnamon Cruffin is nice. I have included pictures.
