Le 1ᵉʳ Étage SoPi - Montmartre

It was an absolute delight staying here for the second time in less than a year. The hotel felt like a home away from home. Thank-you Julia for making sure everything is perfect from the clean, cosy, comfortable, and immaculate rooms to the delicious breakfast spread you have ready for us every morning. Serge, thank-you to you and Juliette for creating this concept as an elevated B&B as it is brilliant. Would also like to thank-you for assisting us with our luggage as it is greatly appreciated! Every intricate detail is thought out in the rooms from the little soaps, to the fluffy white towels, cosy slippers, and sooo comfortable bed and duvet. The breakfast was delicious! We appreciated that we could make our own coffees (Nespresso) and herbal teas at any time of the day. Thank-you again to you all and look forward to seeing you soon!

We stayed for four nights at this lovely hotel. Hosts were responsive and answered several questions for us via email throughout our stay. As for the hotel, it was SO comfortable. Free filtered tap water, very spacious (rare in Paris), attractively designed, with a nice shower and bathroom area. We had no disappointments at all during our stay. Their maid is also very kind and made sure our room was always tidy. The bed was comfortable, the space was clean....ultimately the perfect place for us. We were a little unsure how it would work out as it is a smaller and less reviewed boutique hotel but we were impressed from start to finish and highly recommend. Thank you Serge and Juliette!

A Truly Wonderful Stay at 1er Etage SoPi|Stayed: April 3–6, 2025 | Guests: Tom & Siri||We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 1er Etage SoPi and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, peaceful, and personal hotel experience in Paris.||From the very first contact, communication with the hotel was smooth, friendly, and professional. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, both before and during our stay.||Our room was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated in a unique French style that perfectly combined charm and comfort. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality pillows and duvets that made it hard to get up in the morning! We also appreciated the spacious French balcony, which allowed us to get some fresh air, and the well-functioning air conditioning made the room comfortable at all times.||The breakfast room was small and intimate, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere to start the day. A varied and delicious breakfast was served every morning with plenty of fresh options. We also loved the communal areas, where guests could help themselves to coffee, tea, and water throughout the day – a thoughtful and appreciated touch.||The location in Montmartre was another highlight. The neighborhood felt authentic, calm, and safe, with charming streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to central Paris.||All in all, 1er Etage SoPi exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a hidden gem that combines boutique hotel charm with exceptional service and comfort. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to Paris!

Lovely place. Cozy mini-hotel with just 7 rooms. Super comfortable and convenient. My room (deluxe) was spacious and with a great bed. Breakfast is sufficient, staff is helpful (they are usually on site in the morning). Location is in a quiet part of 9 district, lot’s of nice restaurants around and several metro stations. This was my second stay here, loved it.

Thank you for a really unique hotel experience. 1er Etage hotel is something Else than a usual Parisian hotel. Every detail of the furnishing is nice. Our room was cosy and the bed comfortable.|The breakfast was excellent and it was nicely served to the table on desired time.|The service was friendly and it was nice to learn the history of this ancient composer's house.|The living room on the 3rd floor is a good space for relaxing or working.|The hotel is centerly located. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Beautiful place, very well kept, lovely warm breakfast service, good room size, great location for a taste of living in a old Paris neighbourhood. Lots of thoughtful little extras for tourists made this place a great place to stay for us on a couple trip

Cosy boutique hotel in a former Parisian apartment ideally located in South Pigalle. Great service. The room was nice and clean, but could use a refresh though.
