We were here for a full week & we were so lucky to have found this quiet little gem in Le Marais. The location could not have been more perfect for our first time visiting Paris. Moving around in and out of the city was a breeze & we loved the variety of food & shopping literally within a couple minutes walking distance from our accommodation. We appreciate the cold filtered tap water & selection of nespresso/tea available for us on our early mornings & late nights. Also, our bed being made & the fresh big towels were a daily comfort we became accustomed to. Thank you all so much for providing a comfortable place for our first visit to Paris ✨ 💙🇫🇷 to many more!

We were there for 2 nights and this was the perfect place to stay! easy to get around via metro or walking, very close to Notre Dame, and a ton of great places to eat and drink. **Keep in mind that this is a huge city and area with a lot of nightlife, so you will hear some street sounds even with the windows closed. Also, there was a slight smell from time to time coming from the shower drain, but you can close off the shower Door. Nither of these things impacted our stay though. More importantly the Hosts were great! So helpful and responsive. They stock the shared kitchen with coffees and have a few tables where you can have a small sit down breakfast (with table service I think?) Great time! We will be back!

Had much better memories from the first time we stayed, in 2022. The hotel is recommendable because of the fabulous location. However maintenance is not high on the hotel’s priority list as the premises are worn out. Broken curtain, broken window handle, dirty under the sink, dirty around the toilet, dirty toilet brush, broken hook in bathroom, broken soap holder in the shower. Awkward silence in the breakfast room could be broken with some soft. background music, and not sitting 20 cm from the receptionist. Bread was not fresh. So great location, it else bwah

Great experience at 1er Etage Marais. Lovely room with a simple breakfast and coffee set-up available each morning. Communication with management was excellent, everyone on-sight was friendly and helpful. Location is very close to Pompidou, and in a part of Marais with plenty of walkable options for shopping, food, nightclubs, or anything else. A/C worked well. Our room faced the street, but noise was not an issue for us - it quieted down by 10-11pm.

Highly recommend staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and felt right at home. We arrived to a very clean room and helpful service. Breakfast was served each morning and we had access to their kitchen for espresso and tea throughout the day. The front desk was very helpful with any questions we had and the location was walking distance to most of the sight seeing you might want to do in Paris.

I first stayed here in this hidden gem right in the heart of the Marais 10 years ago. It was so lovely to come back again. Comprehensive continental breakfast served by attentive and delightful staff. It's great fun just coming and going like a local with your own understated front door, with secret code.

Charming comfortable rooms in an apartment in the heart of le Marais. Our room was lovely and cosy. There's use of a kitchen for water, coffee machine etc and the breakfasts are delicious served by lovely quiet polite staff. It's a great model halfway between hotel and bnb which works very well. Very Parisian feel We will be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, approximately 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame. Lots of decent places to eat close by that are reasonably priced. |Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We will definitely be back next year!
