We had planned to eat here on our stay in Atrani and made a reservation for our last night. It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the view is spectacular at night. The service was great and we had a lot of fun with the staff. Thank you!

Delicious Food & Stunning Views Le Arcate in Atrani truly exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic—easily some of the best we’ve had on the Amalfi Coast, and at much more reasonable prices than the busier spots in Amalfi. The view of the sea made the experience even more special, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend the tuna tartare—it was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The tuna and bocconcini salad was also light, refreshing, and beautifully presented. But the standout for me was the lemon cream pasta… it was unforgettable, the kind of dish that will haunt you (in the best way) long after you leave. Their limoncello spritz was the perfect pairing to it all—bright, refreshing, and well balanced. Everyone at the restaurant was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only area for improvement would be the service, which was mostly great but had a couple of small hiccups—like having to wave someone down for more water or a drink refill, and a missed plate that was quickly corrected. Nothing major, but worth mentioning for a fully fair review. Overall, Le Arcate is a must-visit if you’re in Atrani or amalfi. A true gem with excellent food, genuine hospitality, and breathtaking views. We’ll absolutely be back.

We stumbled upon Le Arcate by accident. We were taking a stroll along the Amalfi coast, trying to get out of the crowds in the main area of Amalfi and found this little restaurant along the water. Even better, at the back of the menu was a tuna salad with mozzarella and tomatoes that came in an enormous bowl of lettuce. The friendly waitress told us that the salad alone was enough for a satisfying meal. We each enjoyed a salad and shared a bottle of local Sparkling wine. It was the perfect lunch in the perfect location. The owner later told us that he too loves to have salad as a meal and so put the tuna salad on his menu.

Lovely experience, highly recommend this hidden gem during your stay. You get uninterrupted views of the cliffs and the sea. Food is excellent with real local touches, do prepare for very simple dishes but reflecting the authentic style with high quality ingredients. I had the grilled mozzarella, fillet seafood pasta, lemon orange sauce pasta and some desserts including black truffle ice cream which was lovely. Thank you Antonio for the service. I'd love to return.

Amazing lunch with a view. Looking back onto the famous arches and over the sea was relaxing.

Quick: delicious food, beautiful views and great service! Came here at 9pm on a Thursday night. We waited 5 minutes for a table along the water. They did have tables available right away in the indoor cave thing. Food here was phenomenal. The pasta with mussels, clam, calamari was amazing. One of my favorite pastas I’ve ever had in Italy. So much flavors and it was just perfection. There was also so much seafood for the price. Tons of mussels and clams. It was heavenly to eat. The lamb chops were also cooked perfectly with a nice sear and tons of flavor. Delicious meal. The fries and side potatoes were great as well. My fiancée had the pasta with shrimp and zucchini. There wasn’t many shrimp (only 3 very small ones). She didn’t like the texture of the shrimp. I’m guessing they’re different from typical jumbo shrimp. Other than that, the pasta was great. Service and atmosphere were perfect. Always people around that you can flag down when you need help. And the atmosphere speaks for itself. It’s on the water with a beautiful view.

Had a delicious dinner, at a table by the sea. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our food. We both had seafood and it was really well cooked. The staff were so terrific, they even chased me up the hill with my phone I had somehow left

Amazing place! Food is delicious, people are extremely nice, and the view is like from a picture! Especially first row has the best view and you need reservation for the table there. Other tables are usually available, but it's better to have reservation. It's not expensive place, you can have a good dinner with a bottle of wine and beautiful view, without spending a lot of money. I love this restaurant and will come back for sure.

Yelp
One of the best meals we had on our vacation was at Le Arcate. The location is incredible. Right on the beach, but the food and service was spot on. Our large party ordered several different items, including delicious Hugo spritz, limoncello spritz, appetizers of smoked mozzarella, and our entrees of seafood risotto, fried fish, gnocchi and everything was freshly made and very delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Phenomenal restaurant. Every bite was delicious. Try the lemon pasta and the fried seafood. Gorgeous view and friendly service. Just phenomenal, fresh food.

Yelp
We ate dinner outside and we had no reservation. I had a pizza called Mama Luisa that was so large that I could eat only half. It was topped with mozzarella and arugula; the sauce was a tomato cream, but it wasn't very creamy. Le Arcate has a good selection of local wines and they offered a few by the glass. The prices were decent. We had a great time next to the sea, with waves crashing against the sleepy fishing boats as sunset turned into night.

Yelp
We came to this restaurant because it was close to the sea and had a lovely view. It wasn't that busy when we go there but by the time we left around 9:30 pm it was starting to fill up. A much quieter place than Amalfi which is next door where everything is so much busier. Had a pleasant meal. Started with the smoked mozzarella with lemon leaves. It was different and very tasty. We then ordered the seafood risotto which was quite disappointing. It was mainly rice and very little seafood. You had to order a minimum for 2 people so I was expecting it to be a lot better than what was actually served up. The view made up for the meal.

Yelp
My family and I had a wonderful time at Le Arcate! We ate here on our last evening in Atrani. The wait staff was very friendly, sat us immediately, and gave us a table on the water. We were able to enjoy a carafe of house wine along with our meals. My dad and sister split the seafood risotto which was absolutely delicious! The risotto had so much seafood in it--clams, mussels, shrimp, etc. I ordered the pasta with mussels in a light red sauce which was also delicious. My mom ordered her usual linguine with clams and loved her meal. We were stuffed by the end! Le Arcate made sure we ended our stay in Atrani with a wonderful meal.

Yelp
Great view, good service, ok pizza, good pasta, great tiramisu. That sums up to a 4. The view was fantastic from the balcony. Cheap!!!!!

Yelp
While this spot has a lot of outdoor seating overlooking the water, the food is not good at all. The only thing worth a damn is the house wine here and at all of the restaurants. House wine is never listed on the English menu, but ask for it. It comes in a carafe and is a lot cheaper than the bottles they sell. In fact, the Amalfi coast is overrated and overrun with tourists, so the food is over priced or bad or both. If I wanted to eat ruby Tuesday food and be around a bunch of Americans, I would just stay home. If you must do the Amalfi coast, then, Atrani, where this little restaurant is located, is a pretty cool little town away from the tour buses and cruise ships. There. I did it. I complained about Italy. What can I say? I like California better.

Yelp
Best seafood pizza I ever had. Had to wait 40 minutes for two take out pizzas but well worth it. Local teens purchased 10 pizzas ahead of me and the restaurant was full at 10:00 PM. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because I have to try the other dishes! I had the Arcate and my wife the Diavolo 10 euros for two take out pizzas, take out prices are cheaper, FYI.

Yelp
Good views, right next to Atrani beach. Typical Italian menu. I had a pizza, from their wood burning oven. It was decent, nothing special. Prices are more reasonable than on Amalfi, but only by about 10%. There is still a €2 cover charge per person. If you're looking for standard Italian fare decently priced and with a okay-ish beach side view, this is ideal.

Yelp
Great find. Just over the hill from Amalfi. No crowds. Good seafood, pasta and wine. Great view. Nice folks.

Yelp
If you speak English, stay away. We travelled from Paris to sit at the Amalfi coast and after a short walk past many restaurant options we selected this one. Such a mistake. We had 4 nights here and instead of a romantic meal, we ended up with trash. They told us the sea side tables were reserved but we sat our entire meal far from the sea and watches tables sit empty. Every other table was served bread but us. It felt like they did not appreciate us because of our English language. When we order a $30.00 bottle of wine, someone walked past our table with an already opened bottle and set it down as he walked by. I have never seen that, typically you open at the table and allow a customer to check the wine. We had to ask for water, and not once did anyone check on us to see how the food was. We had about 6 different servers dump food on our table, to the point that when the bill came we didn't know who to tip (if we had wanted to). As a consumer I typically tip between 15 to 20%, and this is the first time in my life that I decided not to tip at all. What waste of a night in the most romantic place in the world. Save yourself the trip, you memories are worth so much more than this.

Yelp
The best meal I've ever had! We had full course meal with an incredible appetizer, homemade pasta with shellfish, an unbelievable seafood platter, tiramisu, limoncello and great house wine outdoors by the sea!
