Loved this place ! There are some (v few) books in Spanish, English and German. Found some poetry books in Spanish for myself. They also sell some pretty neat sérigraphie ! They have some pretty funny stickers too.
The service was great. The photo attached I took by mistake while translating what the stickers said 🙈

Beautiful bookshop filled with many different genres. Many posters to buy at reasonable prices. Full newspaper spread of posters for €5. Amazing bookshop, will be back next time I visit Lyon.

Cute bookstore famous for its arch made out of books. They have a good selection, however, be aware that the English section is quite minimal.

The bookshop in general is very cute and very typical however the English section was very bland with just very popular books instead of a different selection. We are in France of course their English selection is going to be smaller and that's fine but it just seems they threw some copies just to say they have English books and for that might as well not sell them.

It's a lovely bookstore but it's mostly books in French, of course. We ended up buying some very cute posters.

Uau! Really enjoyed digging at Bal des Ardents. I also must say that the best thing about it, apart from all the books, was the Staff! Merci!

I used to know this bookstore when I was in Vietnam - I was impressed with their book portal. But until I was in France and I suddenly remembered it! It's amazing that I can go to the place and see everything inside. And now it's one of my favorite bookstores

Yelp
One afternoon in Lyon, I discovered Le Bal Des Ardents! If you google for the best bookstores in France, it will undoubtedly be in the top 10! The bookshop is famous for its book arch entrance - but there are so many photos of it on the internet, that I decide to not post that picture here. Instead, this video (part of The Book Lovers Series) will more than enough give you a peek of this lovely bookshop in Lyon:

Yelp
A cute quaint bookstore with a VERY unique entrance (see pictures) and cozy interior (looks like the owner lived there) full of books that cater to those that like art/design books and old books....I haven't looked through the rest of the bookstore to really see what else they had but it was nice to visit an ACTUAL bookstore with a unique look as opposed to something like umm... Borders.

Yelp
lLooksike a charming store for my soccer series, "Soccer Tales-Legend of the Shoelace Monster" to park the entertaining youth soccer stories and the second in the series, "Born to Play the Game" about the women's team I coached. See the website at soccertales.net for further information on our company, Dance to the Sun Publishers, LLC. at 201-694-9902
