Le Balafon

We found this restaurant by chance. We didn’t want to go to restaurants near by beach because it’s too crowded and mostly for tourists. This restaurant accepted us with buggy and brought us to a beautiful backyard terrace. Very friendly service and quick. Their children menu was top! We used to eat dry steak hàche but this one was so tasteful with delicious vegetables. All menus we tasted were delicious. 🥹 Most importantly, i wanted to say many thanks to prepare the space to change a diaper for my baby. I will not forget about this. I would definitely come back again to this restaurant if I come again to dinard.

Lovely casual fine dinning. 3 courses each and a half bottle of red came to €85. Great value. Interesting dishes with rich flavors. Walked in Saturday no problem with a baby also.

Disappointed. After a great meal there a couple of years ago, we found the meals today were below the standard we expected and certainly not Michelin standard. Overcooked fish and veg is inexcusable plus the potatoes on the steak dish were under cooked. At the prices they charge there shouldn't be basic cooking errors. They took 12 euros off the bill which left us with 151.20 to pay for 3 meals Shall not be returning.

Great food at great prices. We enjoyed it as did our kids and my parents in law 😀 Visited again (Aug 2020). Was just as good as I remembered! Probably my favourite place to eat in Dinard.

We would return here time after time. Wonderful chef and staff. A brilliant find.😊
