Yelp
Very sweet place I happened upon after just landing in Paris after a 10 hour flight and soup was very comforting. It was lentil. While I ate in the shop, many people came by and bought soup to take away. I feel the owner really cares about quality. The desserts also look amazing!

Yelp
I officially LOVE Le Bar à Soupes. I came here again recently with another friend, and she absolutely loved it. The décor is calm and clean, imposing a sense of healthy serenity with the cute set-up and the large, gorgeous close-up paintings of vegetables. This time, I got a warm soup (ughhh I don't remember which one :() and it was also really good. I realized that they're open for dinner, so I'll definitely come swing by some time (or several times) for dinner. I don't know how to explain it, but I leave with a feeling of warm contentment and a satiated belly.

Yelp
One of our favorite meals in Paris! The owner is lovely, the soups are fantastic. Our son made an excuse to go back and buy her cookbook as his Christmas present to his mom. Just a wonderful experience overall.

Yelp
I'm so glad I stopped in this charming little soup bar. The lovely lady behind the counter makes the soups and they are excellent. She strives to use 100% organic produce. Everyday there are 6 choices of soups. I tried the gazpacho and the next day tomato-ginger. All I can say is you can taste the passion in her soups. I wish she had s store in Los Angeles.

Yelp
I love the decor and concept of this petit soup bar. I had a fantastic bowl of chilled Provencal soup, with chunks of tomatoes and other fresh vegetables, which was perfect on a summer day. Service was friendly and to boot, maintaining efficiency without making customers feel rushed.

Yelp
My partner in food gluttony and I had completely overdone it on the French pastries on one of our many trips to Paris, so we opted for a light dinner one chilly March evening. That night Le Bar a Soupes was our dining venue. We were given the choice of having one large bowl of soup, or having three smaller glasses of soup. We chose the latter, which was a great way of tasting the varied soup menu on offer. My absolute favourite (as it turned out to be also from other diners), was the petit pois soup - luscious creamy green goodness. I could've seriously eaten the whole metal vat that the soup was served from - seriously delicious! The owner was incredibly welcoming and persuaded us to try the dessert soup too. It was made up of mostly carrot and cinnamon. Not hugely to my taste, but great idea.

Yelp
I ate here in 2010. I had tomato soup with curry and a plate with bread and cheeses. The meal changed the way I look at soup forever. It was super delicious and a lovely experience. Now I eat better tomato soups all the time, sometimes with cheese, and I always think of this one meal at Le Bar a Soupes. I know this sounds overly dramatic but after 9 years I can tell you that this one meal at this place transformed my soup eating experience forever.

Yelp
I love soup! I appreciate creative soup combos as well as traditional and simple ones. Ultimately, I just want it to be tasty. We did take away since our apartment was nearby and the place at dinner time was empty, so it was not exactly an atmosphere that made you want to stay. But I'm sure at lunch time it has a different feeling since they have a pretty great lunch special. We tried four soups total: 1. Spinach and Chorizo--definitely the worst soup we tried. In the words of my boyfriend "it tastes like trash." Also, there was surprisingly little meat. 2. Lentil and Coriander--decent, but forgettable. 3. Squash--tasty and satisfying 4. Mulligatawny--saving the best for last, this was the favorite of the evening. Overall, it's pretty good for certain soups, but it's not a runaway hit with everything they have.

Yelp
Generally speaking, it is pretty good to be able to have some soup. It makes a good healthy and light dinner. I was there with a friend. We both took the tasting menu (3 small soups each). It was generally good with some amazing and some average.

Yelp
My daughter and I took a bus from Brussels to Paris. We were tired and hungry upon our arrival. This little cafe' was easy to find, and had the best soup ever! It's a tiny cafe', but the cozy feeling was welcome! We got an ample bowl of soup, with a roll, and a carafe of cool water for €6.99. They have about 5 or 6 kinds of soup, made fresh daily, and when it's gone, they close. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
A cute little soup place. Really healthy based-they have unique options such as pumpkin ginger. They also have good priced combo that includes a soup, side, and bread or dessert for a low price.

Yelp
A great find. My friend and I were out late and hadn't eaten but we didn't want anything too filling. We found this place open and decided to give it a try. The soup was delicious! It comes with a side of bread and was perfect for a light late night dinner. Because we got there so late we were the only ones in the place so we struck up a conversation with the owner. She was so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I showed up late for lunch, and wow! I was not disappointed! Great food! We'll be going back!
