A busy restaurant on the main street. They get pretty packed for lunch so do go early. There's actually lots of seating inside but in summer everyone wants to sit on the terrace. They have a very reasonable set menu including a main (with their signature lake Geneva perch) and a dessert for 38€. And a lot of nice wines to choose from as well. The perch was outstanding - my personal favourite was the one with chorizo.

I visited on a weekday afternoon and ordered the fish and dessert set. Both dishes were amazing, especially the tiramisu! The staff was very friendly as well. I’ll definitely be back.

I wish I had taken pictures of our meal here, as they would have spoken for themselves. The food was simply outstanding. I started with a rich and flavorful onion soup that was nothing short of perfection, followed by an exquisite fish dish featuring sumptuous Saint-Jacques. Every bite was a delight—highly recommended!

We stopped by Le Bateau for lunch on a day trip to Yvoire. The restaurant is situated on a busy street and the restaurant was packed - so we figured it was a good sign. We were not disappointed! We ordered the fish and both dishes were very delicious. Would recommend if you’re stopping by Yvoire for the day to check Le Bateau out.

If there existed something below one star I would have picked it. Very rude staff, one of which is a girl that humiliated us and was racist, everyone around received a free complementary starter around except us. When we sat down they insisted to change our tables to those near the entrance. The food took 50 minutes to be played and it was poorly served and cooked, very bad food. We left early and could not enjoy ourselves due to the toxic environment.

Wow. This town is very cute but all the restaurants were closed or about to close and we found this restaurant still open and we walked in asking if we can eat and the man said yes. I got the fish of the day which was Trout and I got it with the lemon butter sauce. Family member got the steak with fries and both were delicious. The fish was the most fresh I’ve ever had. I wanted more after I finished the plate. The steak was also good and the fries were fantastic. Overall, such a good meal and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful meal.

Yelp
We had a great lunch at Bateau Ivre after a nice walk in the medieval village of Yvoire. Fortunately we had booked in advance for our large group. We enjoyed the "L'écorce de sapin" (fondue style dish), as well as the local fish from Geneva lake. Kids choose from their kids menus, and the parents might have added a glass or two of Gamay even if it was lunch. Desserts didn't disappoint. We received a warm welcome and great service from the team at Bateau Ivre, and kudos to them!
