I was very pleased to have dined here, the food was highly executed, well balanced, and some surprising touches with some unexpected ingredients. The tataki was one of the best ones I’ve had, the crab salad had very interesting textures and flavors, the sushi roll was pleasantly innovative, and finally the chocolate cake finished the meal with a touch of happiness.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the ambiance had an interesting clash between the new Asian restaurant with the previous French restaurant. The maître d’ explained that the original wall decoration was kept hence this atypical combination of food and atmosphere.
The only reason why I took one star away was because of some sloppy mistakes from the waiters (wine spilled when pouring and eventually not cleaned up), a little bit clumsy on the plate serving and order in which the plates came. I might also add that if the food would raise up a notch this place would get 5 stars.
I will for sure come back to this restaurant and hopefully add one missing star.
