Le Bistro Sensi

Discovered this place whilst walking through the smaller streets in Barcelona. I didnt have a reservation and was seated with no wait. All the staff were friendly and attentive and the menus are available in multiple languages. Now for the food, portion size is on the smaller side, but dont let this put you off, the quality more than makes up for it. Everything I had was freshly prepared and full of flavour and presentation was perfect. I had tomato bread, grilled prawns, tenderloin and brownie for dessert, not one single complaint about the food! If I had to find anything to criticise, it would be the options for wine by the glass. Although the Rioja I had was good for the price, I would have preferred something a little finer. However I do understand opening expensive bottles for glass serving isnt finanically viable as they may not sell the remainder before its off. Next time I will just order a bottle so I have no complaints! Bottom line, 10/10 would recommend. Im due to be back in Barcelone in April and I will be coming back here! I came by spontaneously without reservation and only by myself. I still got a table and was really excited due to all the great reviews. And I can definitely confirm them. The food was just amazing! It was flavourful and creative, nothing like dishes and combinations you can find anywhere. I highly recommend coming here.

Delicious food !!! We came as a group of 6, all drank sangria and tried about 7/8 different dishes between us which made up 14 dishes, all so so good. Highly recommend the tuna, patatas bravos, chicken and beef. Absolutely lovely service and great team.

We booked in advance for 11 people and had the Chef’s set menu shared between us. We had 10-12 dishes including an amazing dessert (creme brûlée and poached pineapple!) and the food was unbelievable! The set menu was amazing to save organised food between us and the food was outstanding - our favourite was the pork cheek, prawns and the pumpkin dish. Amazing value too. Very attentive service and great ambience. Only drawback was no sangria by the jug! But would otherwise highly recommend to small and large

Delicious Octopus, pretty good pork cheeks and decent ravioli. The sauce on the ravioli is superb, the raviolis themselves have a rather thick dough. Overall good value and excellent service. Reservations are pretty much required. It was a bit warm inside.

The service was excellent. Plates were presented beautifully and were prepared to order. The octopus was delicious. However, the chicken tapa and tortilla were severely lacking in seasoning. The placed was jam packed and reservations are a must.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around. We were lucky to secure the last table without a reservation on. Saturday night! Our server, Matthew was wonderful, the vibe was great, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re in town!

We were recommended La Sensi by a friend when visiting Barcelona. We are glad we booked in, this must be the best tapas experience we have had. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly. The restaurant is small but that makes it a more personal experience. Cost was very reasonable, definitely recommend booking.
