What good fortune to have found this wonderful place on our last night in Paris. We wanted something within walking distance of our apartment. Frankly, it was the most enjoyable meal we had in this country that so respects food. The ambiance is cozy yet spacious; the banquettes are especially comfy right down to the colorful pillows. The velouté Dubarry was an exceptional bowl of creamy cauliflower soup. Order it. My husband, daughter, and I all had fish as a main course. One, better than the other. I enjoyed sesame crusted tuna steak that was a special that particular evening -- it was cooked to perfection over and melts in your mouth pile of mashed potatoes. My daughter had barely cooked sliced tuna steak over a salad with the most unusual, delicious dressing. And my husband's cod was the best version of that fish that I've ever had. My Sancerre was a perfect pairing for the meal. And, the chocolate dessert, the Moelleux, is not to be missed. The wait staff is knowledgeable and the kitchen (which we had the pleasure of being able to view) is serious, efficient -- professional. Put this wonderful place on your list.
