Best meal of 24 we ate in France. Staff is incredible and very nice. Made us feel at home. Ambience sitting inside or outside is great and the food is truly spectacular. 100 out of 100 recommend we came back 3 nights in a row the place was so dialed in. Best place in Biarritz my taxi driver told me it’s where all the locals eat and after my first meal it all made sense.

We selected this restaurant specifically because of the latest two reviews and the score on Google. We found that none of this is true. The taste and quality is below average. The lamb tasted ok, but was just bones and fat! The duck was dry and the fries were soggy and tasteless ! The small portion of vegetables was ok. What disturbed us the most that the kitchen was not busy and the cooks were taking smoking breaks right in front of our table… so was the waitress. Something I have not seen at any restaurant previously. It was a waste of our evening and I recommend that you avoid this joint. Having said this the wine was good and it was recommended by the manager or owner.

The food was good but the service really not welcoming! It is sad that when you are a foreigner that you get treated in a different way, French people are welcomed with a smile and when I paid, I said good evening, thank you and I didn’t even receive a look or a goodbye back. I was sat at the bar and was told the restaurant is full, meanwhile a few minutes later another person came also without reservation and got a proper table to sit at. A dinner is about having a comfortable and welcoming evening alone or in a group and not only about the food. I hope you will rethink a bit how you treat foreigners and how you would like to be treated in a restaurant when you visit a foreign country.

We stumbled into it and realized it’s many accolades later. The service is wonderful, very friendly for families and kids. I hate eating burgers in France, but they have the best burger I have tried EVER. You can tell the meat is high quality and hand chopped. I just had to try it when my daughter claimed for it to be the best burger ever.

We reserved a table but that didn't stop the barman looking down his nose at us. When he told the waitress we were the 20:30 reservation, she couldn't have been less pleased. We were shown to a table but not offered drinks. We waited 15 mins for service, meanwhile the waitress went into the street for 5 mins to make a phone call. She explained the delay as her dealing with a ' problem '. Food was fine but the atmosphere, rudeness & being ignored soured our stay. Plus there was a large group of Australians who were extremely loud & uncaring about disturbing those around them.

This is a terrific bistro. The baked egg with parmesan & bread and foie grass with toast was unbelievable. The tuna tart.was almost as good. I would have never thought of putting scallops and sweetbreads together, but I truly loved the Scallop Tournados and Sweetbreads over mashed potatoes.

Amazing fish and duck confit. Can’t recommend this spot enough!
