Le Bistrot Itsaski

The service in this bistrot was super friendly and welcoming. They took great care in explaining the menu to us in English. We went for the bistrot menu: three courses for 29.50 euro, a great deal. We loved sitting on the terrace with view on the rive Nive while we enjoyed our food. The server made a small mistake though: he forgot to bring our wine, but since he was so friendly we didn't mind we had to give him a reminder. To finish our meal in style we ordered an armagnac of 15 years old, but since they were out of that armagnac, they offered us the armagnac of 20 years old at the same price. I call that great hospitality!

Very nice, and close to the stadium, definitely worth a visit, we settled in for a long lunch prior to the rugby match. The staff were attentive, and didn't rush us at all. Place was full, so definitely need to book.

I give this place 5 stars for the friendly service and the quality of food. Experience that worth repeating. Wide wine collection, international, not only french. Big serving, of great taste. Better to reserve before coming.

This restaurant offers a small choice of dishes, but there is surely a choice for everyone's taste. Food is prepared in the half-open kitchen, and served with a smile. Delicious plates, and enough for a hungry wolf ;-) The have some good and interesting wines, which makes the picture complete. You won't regret your visit ...

Came for dinner and went with the tasting menu, not a full house but the wait is super long for food, more than 2 hours. The steak doesn’t feel fresh and hard to chew, desert used either canned food and out of the shelf ones. And, I had a bad diarrhea afterwards… The worst dinning experience at France so far

Food is really good. The staff are friendly and make the effort to speak English. One complaint is we spent 450 euros on lunch and still got asked to leave for his lunch break. Good location thanks to the bus for having us. I recommend! Prices are fair for the quality of food :)

We have just had a delightful meal at this restaurant. On a Sunday night with not much open this restaurant delivered! From the warm welcome from our great waiter to the amazing dishes. The foie gras entree was the standout with beautiful combinations of flavour. Our waiter was patient with my French and explained things on the menu in detail. Highly recommended! 👍

Friendly staff. Good food.

We stopped here on a whim by Google reviews and used Google translate to help us figure out the menu. They spoke a little English but you could tell were u comfortable with it. We managed to order the food, asparagus, crème brûlée, and a bottle of wine to share. It was perfect for two people. The food was fantastic. The sauce for the pork chops was surprisingly not what you would expect for France. It oddly reminded us of home in California. We were completely satisfied coming here.
