LE BON WAGON

I didn’t need anything special while riding e-bikes around Lake Annecy, but this place had fantastic food (and the desserts were amazing). There is also a bike shop there. Lots of outdoor seating, bike racks and 2 stations to charge your e-bike (provided you have the cord with you).

This cafe is amazing. The food and coffee are good, and the location excellent. The bikes and gear on sale are top quality, and worth a look in their own. I'd love to visit again.

Cool bikes, nice coffee, helpful staff, great place to stop off bike path

Over the years we've passed the old railway station and platform at Duingt many times, mainly when it has been run down & deserted, also when it was a small campsite, so it was a really pleasant surprise to find on our return to the area for the first time in 6 years that the old station has been converted into a cafe & cycle shop. A modern feel right next to the old railway line serving hot & cold drinks, snacks and meals. With plenty of cycle parking plus a small car park. Very friendly staff. Prices ok. Range of drinks very good. Great location with stunning views. Having visited the Annecy area many times over the years it's always amazed me why there have been so few cafes on the cycle path, but now that's certainly improved. I don't know what the cycle shop was like, it didn't look cheap but the range did look good. I also think it's great that there's a bike rental storage facility plus an air point and tools right next to the cycle path, which are now relocated along the cycle path. See the photos 👍.

Stopped off here for a quick hot chocolate while cycling around the lake. Such a cool place and it was so nice to see something like this on the trail. Staff were very nice.

Great place for a stop. For a drink or lunch. Bike store is very nice with a large choice of bikes, accessories and apparel. The coffee there is great too! A must try.

One of my SRAM batteries went dead so I stopped by Le Bon Wagon. Alexi very kindly charged my battery while I climbed the Col de la Forclaz, small front chainring only! What a nice guy and a great shop for coffee and all things bicycle. I’ll be back. Thank you Alexi. 👍🙏
