Over the years we've passed the old railway station and platform at Duingt many times, mainly when it has been run down & deserted, also when it was a small campsite, so it was a really pleasant surprise to find on our return to the area for the first time in 6 years that the old station has been converted into a cafe & cycle shop.
A modern feel right next to the old railway line serving hot & cold drinks, snacks and meals. With plenty of cycle parking plus a small car park.
Very friendly staff. Prices ok. Range of drinks very good.
Great location with stunning views. Having visited the Annecy area many times over the years it's always amazed me why there have been so few cafes on the cycle path, but now that's certainly improved.
I don't know what the cycle shop was like, it didn't look cheap but the range did look good.
I also think it's great that there's a bike rental storage facility plus an air point and tools right next to the cycle path, which are now relocated along the cycle path. See the photos 👍.
