I dearly recommend! We enjoyed everything! The service was great, the waiter is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. I think he might have been the owner. They have a very talented and creative chef. My husband had the carbonara which were made by the chef’s inspiration. Were the best pasta I tasted during all my trip. Seafood pasta also delicious, very strong fish taste. The pasta pommodori were also great! The shrimps also tasty. I didn’t have a taste of eggplant parmigiana but my friend said tasted amazing. About dessert I was also happy. I totally forgot its name, but the taste was amazing: the shell made from almonds and covered in dark chocolate and filled with an amazing cream. The tiramisu was classic, of course tasty. They also had a good prossecco, but I limited myself to one glass because was barely 12 in the morning. If I ever visit Matera I will come back again!

Everything beyond delicious. Alessandro, the waiter, super friendly and nice. Food so tasty that I almost shed a tear 😂 A place and moment to keep in memories forever. A must visit while in Matera. ❤️‍🔥 Thank you.

Bad reviews are old!! This is a must visit!! We had the most lovely lunch. The food was delicious, wine was perfect, and we sat outside to enjoy our afternoon in the sunshine.

A wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent, the wine is even better, the service is friendly. All recommendations. If you come to Matera and do not stop at this restaurant, you will make big mistake 😀

I would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dinner in Matera. Went to Le Botteghe for dinner, the food was delicious, large portion sizes, and the staff was very friendly. Despite our limited Italian the staff was patient and took the time to listen to our order and confirm it was what we wanted. The desserts were delicious and very thoughtfully plated.

Great food, nice music, very helpful staff. They only re-opened recently it seems, due to new management. One of the only places where they don’t insist on talking English to you if you clearly speak Italian yourself. Very fast in assisting us to get a table in the shade. The carbonara was really nice. Would come back if not for travelling on tomorrow!

Great location but even better service and food. Waiters were friendly and helpful. The meal was one of the best we had during our stay in Puglia. Had branzino, pasta, and tiramisu. All excellent. Highly recommend it!

Our expectations were bigbut what we got was even better than this! Both main dishes were perfectly done, the salad with the crispy pepperoni and the apetizer were perfect! The service is also wonderful, they care about your wishes and fulfill them! We left satisfied and happy! Grazie!
