Le Boutique Hôtel Bordeaux

Perfect location and wonderful stay. Our family stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was exceptional. The staff made us feel very welcome and the wellness area was a highlight. The location of the hotel could not be better to access the best areas of Bordeaux. We want to especially thank Anastasia and Paul for their excellent service as well as all the staff in the breakfast area each morning.

My wife and I stayed at the Le Boutique Hotel for the first part of our honeymoon - the room and service were fantastic! An extremely spacious bathroom with separate shower/tub and a toilet with a bidet. All service members were very friendly. Restaurants, and shops you need are within walking distance. Overall, it's a great deal and it was absolutely the best room we had during our trip. Thanks again!

Lovely friendly and very comfortable hotel with easy access to the city centre on foot or with tram and bus stops just round the corner. |The rooms were very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable with some snacks and drinks in the chiller included in the price. Beds were very comfortable and slept really well especially as air con was adjustable.|Breakfast was more of the continental buffet variety with only a few hot items and runs to 10:30 if you want a lie in - however, there will be less of a selection left so if you live your breakfast I'd advise coming down earlier. There is no restaurant for dinner but they have started a little wine bar style offering in the evening which we didn't try as we are out each night.|The pool, sauna and steam room are small but we enjoyed using it after a day of sightseeing to relax before heading out for dinner. |But I think the best thing about this hotel are the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind, nothing was to much trouble, they gave great recommendations and help with restaurants, places to visit etc. and were good craic.|All in all a lovely experience.

A lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Close to all restaurants and shops, however our room was so quiet and comfortable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We stayed three nights and were so grateful to all the staff for their remarkable service. We are very very frequent world travellers and I believe this is the best service we have ever received over the past 35 years. All without being pushy or overwhelming. Well done and thank you!

We stayed in the apartment in the third floor, which was great for our family of four to spread out a bit. The hotel was in a great location and was very clean. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. They had a great breakfast spread. We would highly recommend staying here when in this beautiful city.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during a 1-month vacation in Southern France. The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff superb, our room was spacious and well stocked with high quality amenities. The bedding was excellent, the bath towels soft and heavy, and the breakfast excellent. I could not have asked for a better combination of factors to make our 3-night stay more enjoyable. One note: not all rooms are accessible by elevator.

Our 5 nights at Le Boutique Hotel were amongst the best stays we have had in France, and we have spent time in at least two other 5 star establishments. The almost immediate intimacy of your beautifully appointed, situated and decorated hotel and spa was personified by Paul, whose help, guidance, assistance and knowledge of what attractions and restaurants deserved visiting, was unparallelled in our concierge experience. Indeed, every member of the LBH team - Numa, Laur, Holie, Zayeed (aka Mr. Z) and Mâcha - made it clear that your mandate is to ensure every guest’s comfort and convenience. We congratulate you on what appears to be the maintaining of the standard one expects at an establishment of such rating. Bravo et merci beaucoup. If we are fortunate enough to return to Bordeaux, there is no question about where we would stay and we will certainly recommend LBH to any family member or friend desiring to visit Bordeaux.

Such a wonderful little hotel. We used our stay there as a base for day-trips in the region. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was delightful, especially the bed. Best few nights sleep of an eleven day trip. Will definitely book again in the future.

Fantastic little hotel in Bordeaux centre. Amazing service and helpful staff from top to bottom. Great little touches such as a heated water bottle in your bed as the turndown service and breakfast in your room for 2 euros extra. They also have a great wine bar and tasting service with a comprehensive wine list including of course Bordeaux but also many burgundy choices. They also have a pillow menu with 5 different pillows. The staff were superb. They seemed willing to do anything to make our stay amazing.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Bordeaux. Super close to everything, the property itself is elegant, and the staff is beyond amazing! Everyone was so accommodating to ensure our stay at the hotel and in Bordeaux was the perfect experience. The restaraunt inside the hotel is also great and the perfect spot to grab a quick bite and a glass of wine before exploring Bordeaux.

This centuries-old building was renovated into its current use as a boutique hotel about 5 years ago. Since then it has garnered the highest reviews amongst hotels in Bordeaux on TripAdvisor and the major travel sites. After staying there for several evenings, I'm honestly not sure why that is the case. It appears the hotel has about 25 rooms. On the positive side, the location is right where you want to be, there is a great wine bar that offers evening wine and cheese tastings with a very knowledgeable sommelier for a (hefty) price, and the energetic staff is wonderful and responsive. The downside is there's only so much you can do with a 250-300 year old space to retrofit it into a luxury hotel room that is worth anywhere near what they charge. It's not a bad place, per se, I just can't imagine how this earned its ranking as the "#2 place to stay in Bordeaux." OK place, pricey for what is delivered. Next visit to Bordeaux I'll mix it up and try somewhere different.

Very pleased with our stay. Very attentive & courteous staff, charming breakfast / dining area, room worked great and was very quiet. Can't think of what I'd ask to improve.
