LE CAB Biarritz - Le comptoir à burger

I first heard about this burger spot in a Bloomberg article a few years ago, which mentioned it as one of the best burgers in France and the world (link to the article below). After finally trying it, I can confirm that it lives up to the hype. The burger is exceptional, especially considering the rapport qualité-prix ! the quality you get for the price is outstanding. The service was impressive! the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and cool. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing burger experience!

After reading many positive reviews, I decided to visit this place and try their burger. The place was really crowded, but I was pleasantly surprised that I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my order. The burger turned out to be delicious. The patty was cooked medium by default—it was juicy with a nice, rich meat flavor. The sauce was in just the right amount—not too spicy, but flavorful and well-balanced. Despite the juicy patty and the sauce, the bun stayed intact and didn’t get soggy until the very last bite. This shows the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in preparation.

Really great tasty Burger's (we had a "LANDAIS" and a "Classic ") the meat was cooked perfectly + home-made crispy Chips (very tasty). The deserts are also very nice ! Had a great time tasting the food ... The staff is very nice ! On the downside the dinning place is somewhat "basic" --- but hey you can have it in takeaway ;) .

One of the best burgers I have had in a long time!! And the house-made chips were great! Loved this place.

Burger was really good, I took the Parm. Loved the sauce. I was a little hesitant with the crisps when ordering but they were really tasty! I recommend this place, I only waited 6/7 minutes. I didn’t eat in, but the team seemed very friendly. The tiramisu for desert wasn’t quite what I was expecting but it was still very tasty. 5 stars ✨

Fantastic spot in Biarritz ! Excellent burgers and the chips are a must! The burger flavour choices are delicious! We had the Biquette and the Basque the first time and the Savoie and Biquette the second visit! The Biquette and Savoie were our favourite! Don’t forget to drizzle the homemade mayonnaise on the chips! We got there at opening for dinner both times to make sure we got a table! Very popular and for a reason! Excellent quality for a good reason! One of our favourite meals in Biarritz!!

We came here to the possible vegetarian options. So we had the vegetarian burgers and potato chips. The vegetarian burger was quite bland....now I know you are thinking that might be common for vegetarian burgers, but this was just exceptionally bland. The roll was fresh and was quite tasty but the patty itself was nothing great. The potato chips were good. Also, I found it to be a little pricey for two vegetarian burgers and chips. On a more positive note, I do like the vibe of this place. It is a pretty cool spot and the servers are great.

Food-wise, this place is great. Small inside but friendly waitstaff and the burgers are great - well prepared, tasty, and using locally sourced ingredients. The fries are actually chips - they come in a silver bucket, warm and salty and amazing. The stars disappeared though for me, when our waitress continually hacked her way across the restaurant. As in coughing long, smoker's-cough hacking. It really grossed me out to say the least. She really didn't do much to hide it, coughing into her hand (gee, thanks, now that you've grabbed my food and forks/knives with the same hand and delivered the food to our table). On top of it, no one else seemed to mind. I know I'm sounding like a total germaphobe American here - and I'm usually the last one to pull the "In America, this or that would never happen". But when it comes down to someone literally coughing left and right all over everyone's food, it's not ok.

Le CAB has the best burgers I have ever had! Their ingredients are fresh and local while their buns are literally made just a few steps away at a local bakery. Their chips are made fresh as well and have the perfect crispiness to them which goes well with their homemade ketchup. If you are a dessert person, try their chocolate mousse or their gateau basque tiramisu.
