Louis Vuitton Has Opened Its First Restaurant in Osaka

"I enter the now empty Le Café V (daytime shoppers put their name down and wait for a call for the chance to try the already-lauded lunchtime Wagyu hamburgers) but am immediately whisked through the space to a wall installation of Vuitton luggage piled high, which slides open to reveal restaurant Sugalabo V."

We went out from our hotel, Cross hotel, like 50 meter, looking for some place to eat. Then we noticed the sign so we went up to check the place out. There was no guest at all, not even one table. We ordered latte, some meals. Club sandwich. Everything was excellent. The staffs were super attentive and helpful. Since we don’t read neither Japanese nor French, she helped us decide what to order. And it turned out to be really good choice. The dessert, that we don’t really know the name was sooooo delicious. The price worth the experience.

1. No need to queue. Just take the lift to the highest floor. 2. For a branded cafe, the food is not bad. 3. I paid 6,600 yen or sgd 60.89 for 1 dessert and 1 coffee.

What an experience! We went into this understanding that we are probably paying for the experience so we expected higher than usual prices. The entrance to the cafe is on the right side of the building. There’s an elevator you have to take up to the floor the cafe is on. My friend and I got there at around 1120 on a Thursday and we were the only ones in there at first. It’s a beautiful cafe. Love the artwork on the walls, which I think they might swap out from time to time. We each ordered a lunch item, a dessert item, and a latte. Everything we got was good. Our total came out to about $134 for everything, or $67 each. This isn’t a cafe I can go to all of the time so it was a great splurge spot. I would go back again for sure. The staff were wonderful too. They were all so nice and just attentive enough.

Nice terrace It is a cafe with a terrace and bar zones located on the high floor of LV store. Menu isn’t big, but you can choose something for you from appetizers to desserts. There you can also find some drinks including two cocktails (both of them are good), champagne and wines. Wi-fi is available. The cafe is pricey, but the feeling is wonderful, so it suits for cherishing yourself. It’s a good place to spend some time especially when it’s a good weather - the terrace is lovely: so green and nice.

Le Café V in Osaka, Japan, is Louis Vuitton’s first café in the world! Situated on the 7/F of LV’s flagship store in Shinsaibashi, the restaurant is as chic and artistic as the iconic white building. Guests who do not need to shop can reach the café via the elevator hidden in the side alley. Outdoor seats are available. The spacious and bright main dining room has a very high ceiling. Servers are polite and professional. However, food quality is a bit inconsistent! Drinks and desserts are the most delicious and pleasing to the eye. While the medium rare Sandwich Filet de Boeuf Wagyu “Gyu-Katsu” (JPY 5,000) looks more rare than medium rare and tastes a bit dry, the medium order of the same dish looks more medium rare than medium and is noticeably juicier. It feels like tea time would be the best time to visit this IG-worthy café.

Swanky and beautifully designed to allow plenty of outside light. This is a perfect spot of an afternoon tea with a side of sweets. During my visit the place was quiet and smaller than I expected, but felt very intimate. The menu is very limited on true meal items, however diverse enough to satisfy all taste buds. Wagyu sandos sell fast so make sure to go early if this is on your list. To enter, you will need to go through the side of the store not the main entrance. There will be an elevator that will take you to the top floor. Upon your exit, feel free to spot by the exhibit in between floors to the grounds. Nice experience, I would return for tea time.

Expensive! Very upscale, chic cafe located on the seventh floor. Expect to pay between 10,000-25,000¥ for two, depending on your meal. For two morning desserts and tea, we paid 10,000. Quality was exceptional, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. There are far too many staff in my opinion, but they were respectful and not overbearing.

We stoped by after seeing good reviews and there was a big queue. I got a affogato rum raisin and my friends got a coffee which can be personalised in how they make it and cheese cakes. The affogato was very good and the expresso was high quality, but the cheese cake was way too small for the price considering I have had better for way less. The place was a bit small but the overall look of the place was nice.
