Le Cantorbery

Beautifully presented food, original menu - we were table of four. Friendly welcome, and reasonable drinks and wine menu. The only snag was that despite us finishing our main course we had to wait until all other tables, despite them arriving and being served main after us, for even being given the dessert menu. Consequently we ended up being the last in the restaurant. One lady apologised and said she had been told by a waitress we didn’t want a dessert!!!

We had a very good dinner at Le Cantorbery. Food was great, staff was friendly - the chef even came to our table to give us the recipe of a dish we asked information about. Wines were good as well, including the sweet wine we had with dessert. Only thing: the staff could have been a bit more prepared and able to answer to our questions on the spot.

I had a lunch at, and it completely met my already high expectations that were based on Google map rating. For amuse bush I was brought a coffee cup of corn soup with puff pastry stick. The soup was delicious and the pastry was light, fluffy and melt in your mouth delicious. For entry I had white asparagus (it is currently in season) with pancetta crumbs, shalote in garlic cream sauce and it was just as delicious. The Skate wing Grenoble style for the main course was just as beautifully presented and tasted great. The service was top notch. Overall, this was a very good dining experience that I can highly recommend.

A charming restaurant in the heart of the old town in Dinan. Every dish was cooked perfectly and served with finesse - we had a really lovely dinner. Highly recommend the: - Poached egg & haddock foam - Chateaubriand - Seabass main dishes Truly delightful!

This was the best food we had our entire vacation. We ordered all of the appetizers and every bite of every dish was incredible (except the tuna and pastry, which was fine, but compared to the perfection of the other dishes, it faltered). We will absolutely return next time we visit.

Got a recommendation from the villa owner we were staying at. Wow. What a lovely meal. The iPad menu took a bit of navigating, but that was more user error than anything. I had the lobster starter which was great, my wife had the poached egg and smoked haddock, this was even better. Main was the cote de boeuf, enormous and must have been half a cow. Cooked perfectly. We were full at this point. However, the deserts looked stunning. So had one to share. Wine was well priced, staff great and food amazing. Will go back there before the end of our holiday.

Absolutely delicious food - my lamb dish with the sauce was amazing, their steaks were melt in the mouth. My son's choc dessert was a thing of beauty. Staff were helpful and friendly. A real treat, highly recommend

We were disappointed bc so many reviewers liked this place. Food was okay, but again, bc of reviews we expected something better than okay. The bread was sliced very thin and was nothing like the delicious bread we’ve had in our past 3 weeks in France. Staff very friendly which was a plus. Good service. Chairs felt small, tables close together - probably wouldn’t have noticed if we had like the food more. Maybe just an off night.

Hands down one of the best meals we had while traveling in France. The service was wonderful and the place was lovely and quaint. The woman running the restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious and the desserts were exquisite. Loved everything about this restaurant. Must visit when in Dinan, France.

Would recommend! Stopped in for lunch. Salmon starter was fantastic high quality, sushi grade. Steak main was good and apple and raspberry crumble dessert was delicious. Great service from young server that was able to manage our english.

Great cozy restaurant in central historic area, recommended by the host ar Hotel Arvor. Service and food were outstanding - fixed price menus with reasonable prices. Liked it so much we went back the next night!! Sea bass and steaks were expertly prepared.

This traditional French restaurant is in a wonderful old building in the historic part of town, full of character. Food is very traditional, with choices including local fish and andouillette sausage; meats are grilled on the open fireplace. The lunch menu is particularly good value. This is a great restaurant for a flavour of historic Brittany!

Excellent. Steak was great and EUR27 Menu price for 3 courses is good value. Atmosphere was warm and cosy, staff were friendly, service was good and food was very preapred to very high standard. It's not cheap but it's worth the price.
