A pleasant hidden gem to have come across! Exceptional food and a wonderful experience. The cocktails were tastefully developed, with layers of depths to them. The food were also very seasonally made, fresh and delicious. In addition to this, the staff were extremely attentive to the extent that is not expected in an average restaurant (one of the servers immediately showed up with a new knife after I had dropped it in less than 5 seconds). Would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone who enjoys good food, good drinks, good company and good environment!

Excellent bistro in north marqis, cozy, locals, not too scene-y. Classics + Vietnamese-French dishes. Great menu, there were 10 things I wanted to have. Downstairs more vibey, but upstairs was very cozy. Top top frites. Don’t go without ordering. Great unique wines by the glass.

Fantastic spot with a true local vibe! Le Carreau is a great place to eat with very few tourists — most of the guests are locals, which makes it perfect for striking up a conversation. We had the roasted Camembert with honey and nuts (my daughter’s favorite), a croque-monsieur, and a hamburger — everything was absolutely delicious! This is my third visit, and Le Carreau has officially become a must-stop every time I’m in Paris.

I found this place randomly as it was close to where I was staying. The ambience is really cozy and inviting. It’s hip but warm. The food was better than I expected. The entire staff is really kind and sweet. It was such a great experience that I came back the next night. 😊

I had the best Steak Frites ever. It literally melted in my mouth! The Serrano ham and cheese were just perfectly fresh and soft, and not too salty like the what I had at the US. The service was excellent and friendly and the outside seating atmosphere was perfectly quaint and relaxing (Parisian Bistro) 😊

A nice place to listen to the locals speaking and to learn some French. The food is nice, but you’ll sit about 10 centimeters from other visitors, so it can feel really crowded. The second floor is better and also warmer if you visit in winter. The steak with potatos — is tasty.
