Le Carrefour Restaurant

One of our favourite restaurants in Verbier. Their steak is always excellent quality and I like I can cook it my self at the table.

The food is great, and very generous portions! Probably one of the best views to dine with. Very convenient to get to by bus from anywhere in the town. The only glitch for me was the service- they are very busy & that’s probably why. The waiter didn’t ask me for water, and when I asked for water, he asked me if I wanted still or sparkle - half or one litr instead of informing about house / tap water. Because later I saw other tables get served house water.

Food was really good when it eventually arrived, the waitress got our order wrong and only brought us 3 plates of food between 5of us. We then had to wait an extra 25 minutes for the other 2 plates of food to arrive. The staff were very dismissive of their error and told us it was only 10 minutes we had to wait which they deemed an acceptable time to wait. We asked for a reasonable resolution to which a male member of staff that when asked for his name called himself ’the boss’ was exceptionally rude and aggressive towards our complaint. Unprofessional and arrogant service from staff really lets this place down. We were told in future to go elsewhere to which we will be doing, to somewhere that actually cares about their customers.

I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, as the food has consistently been excellent. However, my recent experience was deeply disappointing. While the food that arrived was delicious, half of my order was missing, and the staff did not acknowledge the mistake or offer an apology. When I raised my concerns, I expected a reasonable resolution, but instead, I was met with hostility. The staff not only refused to address the issue professionally but also responded with aggression, even shouting at me. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether I will return, as the poor service overshadowed what was once my favorite restaurant. The “so called boss” said in anger, find somewhere else next time. Highly rude and disappointing.

Buzzing restaurant on the slopes. Typical Swiss alpine menu, with great food alongside a nice selection of wine. Setting and view was amazing too. Nice post-lunch ski after a few drinks!

Came here on two separate occasions, and both have been great. For dinner we ordered the chateaubriand which I highly recommend to anyone, and for lunch halfway the ski day we stopped for a fondue. Both amazing.

Lovely spot at the top a golf course (in summer) and a ski run in the winter. Great place to ski down to for a bit to eat for lunch. Gorgeous sunset views in the evening. Authentic swiss food although a little on the pricey side.
