I went here as a very last minute recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad I did, especially on such a warm and sunny day. It's a stunning experience from arrival - taking a quick boat ride across the lake to the island it sits. The staff were welcoming and the food clearly had great thought put into it. I loved the salad, and it was so unlike what you would get at many other restaurants. I hope to visit again next time I'm in Paris. A warm summer evening here would be perfect.

Absolutely great experience in summer! A 2 minutes boat ride to arrive this island and discover the hidden jewel in Paris, there’s great vibes, fun music, beautiful crowds.the day we went there’s a wedding going on too! Need to make reservations in advance!

Bar review: A hidden paradise just outside Paris! The Bar du Chalet des Îles in Boulogne is an unforgettable spot. Open from mid-April through the end of the warm season, this place offers a one-of-a-kind experience. You take a little boat to get to the chalet, which already sets the mood for something special. Come early, doors open around 6pm (even earlier), grab a cocktail, eat some tapas and enjoy the sunset over the water. The setting is breathtaking, like stepping into a living painting surrounded by nature. From 10:30pm, the energy picks up with a DJ set that runs until about 2am, a lively mix of commercial hits, electro, and house. Great crowd, great vibes, and dancing under the stars. Pro tip: arrive early! It gets packed fast, and if you show up too late, you might not get in. Definitely a must-visit for your spring/summer nights.

I do not recommend this place. It is too crowded. Walk around the island. No need to grab a drink or food there. The experience is disappointing. Staff is not properly trained. And place clearly understaffed. I recommend waiting for a change of management who would find out the way to handle such a nice location.

Went here for a staff dinner with my coworkers. The setting is beautiful, the tables are out in a garden and everything is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and calming to the soul. Disappointed in the service as it was very very long between each course and they actually forgot about our desserts (apparently they were sent to another table) the food was alright, nothing exceptional, seasonal produce well cooked but not well seasoned and no interesting spices or sauces.. a shame the food and service wasn’t to the same standard as the setting.

It feels like a 5-stars at beginning and end but in fact it’s not. So, overall the experience is pretty unique in a city like Paris. Difficult to find isolated restaurants with such an atmosphere. It can serve 2 purposes: either an aperitovo with friends, especially that their drinks are special, or a romantic date. But the food is a bit disappointing, for such prices. We were several people on the table and everyone shared the same opinion that food is average. Nothing bad about food but it lacks taste. Then regarding the service, it can be better. Waitresses are generous and nice but I our food long time to arrive. I would definitely revisit this place, but more likely for an aperitif on the banks of the seine. Worth the view and the experience.

Honestly for the price point, I was quite disappointed by the service. I understand the appeal is the atmosphere, which is undoubtedly magical, but our waitress forgot our order twice and then brought our aperitif with our appetizers which we specifically asked for the two to be served separately. Personally, I don’t like to sip a fruity cocktail with a ceviche and I probably would’ve ordered white wine with the appetizer had the cocktails not arrived at the same time as the first course. The waitress also completely forgot our table at the end so we did not want to wait around for dessert, although we might have ordered something had she not been so distracted. The lack of attention to detail in the service really brought down the quality of the overall experience, although the food was very good and the atmosphere lovely. For 18€ for an aperitif, I expect more from the service.

A beautiful restaurant in a delightful setting. Easily accessible from central Paris, but you could be deep in the countryside. Magical place, in the middle of a park, and set on an island with access via a short boat ride to make it extra special. Attentive waiter with fast delivery of each course and the staff went far beyond the extra mile. Highly recommended and especially ideal for a romantic dinner.

Yelp
Wow wow wow and another wow! We got friendly with our Uber driver who suggested this spot to us. And we are so glad we listened to his recommendation. This is Paris hidden gem! So it's definitely not hard to get there at all. Simply put in Uber the location and it will leave you right in front of the boat... and yes I said boat because it's in the middle of a lake and you must get there by boat. The ambience is absolutely beautiful. We came on a Saturday evening the music was splendid. We sat upstairs, on the outside balcony. We ordered 2 appetizers which were good... we're not much of fried food people but it was our night out. For dinner we ordered the fish with a Parmesan side. Now that was good. Overall this place is a MUST!!!!

Yelp
Favorite spot in Paris! The restaurant is beautiful inside and quaint outside. Higher end atmosphere inside, felt slightly out of place in my rubber boots(it was raining and we were exploring the park all day). But the best part of this restaurant is the location, situated on the shore of this little island looking out over the lake and water taxi that takes you to shore. The taxi is free if you're going to the resultant. The islands are in the middle of the park and it feels like an oasis, no signs that you're in the middle of busy Neuilly. Don't pass up walking the loop on the islands! The steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it and comes with delicious au-gratin style potato and vegetables. Burger meat was tender. Wait staff was gracious. They don't have continuous service so make sure you're checking the time to be able to eat.

Yelp
Wow! What a night! If you are looking for a romantic destination restaurant with just the right amount of adventure, pizzazz and yummy food search no further. Our evening dinner at this chalet felt like a weekend away at a festive retreat, complete with boat ride, gorgeous setting, live music and even fireworks (both figuratively and literally!). We reserved super last minute (evening of) hoping for a fun place with a view, and some respite from the oppressive heat. When I called I was told that only the 10pm service was free and that there was no more seating outside. Bummer, but we booked anyway. Luckily when we arrived early to take advantage of the setting we were able to get a seat on the outdoor balcony of the chalet with a beautiful view of the lake. The service was warm but not extremely efficient but no matter, the menu was full of tempting dishes and not as pricey as you would expect from such a destination address. The food was surprisingly good and generously served, neither my husband nor I could finish our meals (he had the tartare 19E and I had the burger 22E). But the best part of the night was the surprise fireworks display on the lake to celebrate a guest's 40th birthday. What a fantastic treat and the icing on the cake of an already exceptional night.

Yelp
Poor service from the waiter to the bartender. Even though we sat right in front of the bar in the back and asked several times for ice for our drinks which were warm we were told no ice was available, all this time while watching the bartenders without masks or gloves on handling ice cubes with their bare hands into drinks and loudly joking ice was not available. Maybe a place that should be avoided at all costs by tourists as the service you will get is much different than locals. We also had to waive down our waiter several times for our orders and items as she kept avoiding our table. At the end we sat 20 minutes after our meal was done waiting to see our waiter to be able to pay our bill. I had to walk to several other staff to ask for our bill. Regretfully we spent quite a bit of money at this establishment which I regret and will never ever visit. Poor hygiene and worse service by such an upscale place. Also, don't bother making a reservation since it won't be used. We had made a reservation days in advance and were the first in line when the restaurant opened for dinner and told that the tables up front were reserved for other parties, so we were shoved in the back area right in front of the rude and disgusting bar and bartenders.

Yelp
Coming here on the boat was a neat experience and I liked the idea of it. We got lots of good food, but the best was the sea bass. Fluffy mashed potatoes also very good. Nice experience and would definitely come again!

Yelp
I LOVED this place! What a hidden gem! The food is good and the atmosphere is really special. I definetly recommend taking a walk around the small island/lake. There are some cool birds and really nice statues. It takes less than 10 minutes. The food was great and the the little boat to the restaurant is cute. This is not a touristic place, so it's more authentic.

Yelp
We went here to kick off our "staycation" and it was marvelous! Of course, it helped that the weather was amazing! But I would come here any day! It's gorgeous, I love the setting and it feels like a special place, an oasis, just on the edges of the city, in the Bois. The food is good, as you would expect in a place like this. Great place to come in the winter or when it's colder too for a cosy hot chocolate or meal too. (I think they can get crammed on weekends lunch/brunch so expect that and you'll be okay...just relax and enjoy the environs.)

Yelp
Food is standard for the price, but location is worth it. Staff was cool, and above and beyond accommodating. We went for lunch on a Saturday.

Yelp
Great charming place. Kind of difficult to find but a real gem once you are there. The service is impeccable, the food is very tasty and well presented, the atmosphere is warm and cosy. We went at lunch on a friday and the place was packed. You have to take a boat shuttle to go on the island which makes the experience even better.

Yelp
Not only the experience of getting into a small boat in an isolated area of Paris was very nice but the food from beginning to end and the service were excellent. A place with great ambience perfect for special occasions.

Yelp
The food is just above average but the scenery and the experience are out of this world. Great for families or a romantic time.

Yelp
Such a lovely setting for lunch. Nice food but the fact that you get to take a ferry across the lake is icing on the cake. Just makes for a perfect afternoon.

Yelp
So-so food, but lovely ambiance The ambiance is very nice, but the food was a bit listless. Asparagus overcooked and shriveled... Would still recommend for its unique location.
