Le Chamarel Restaurant

The main attraction here is the views which is just spectacular!! Beautiful blue coastline! The food is definitely overpriced! You can definitely get the same dishes for much much cheaper elsewhere on the island. The views is what you pay for. The service was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The creme brulee was delicious! One of my friends had visited this restaurant a few years ago and said the quality has deteriorated slightly which is disappointing.

Food was good, but for Mauritians, a bit expensive (you pay for the views really). We did enjoy the amazing views of the west coast. The main gripe was the very slow service (around an hour just to get drinks).

Great deco inside 🥰 That panoramic view at the top is just wow 💯👌😍. A must see before sunset.. even after sunset its nice. Food was ok not extra, good service, smiling staff. Unfortunately the place is not much accessible to all 😐 Visibility is poor after sunset.. road infrastructure to/from restaurant could be dangerous at night. Impressive view, amazing dishes, great service. Beautiful place you have to visit in Mauritius. This is the place when you feel like in paradise

Splendid view and fantastic Palm heart salad. The wild pig salmi was a bit dry and the venison dry curry was well dry. No wonder the site gets a 4.3 rating . Good luck

It was a good experience overall. The food was decent, but there's room for improvement. The views from the top of the mountain are absolutely spectacular! The service was good, and the food was served promptly.

Amazing views of the West Coast, including ile aux benitiers and the surrouded forest. 5 stars for the view. Service was great..the waiter was really attentive to details. The food was nice. BUT the price is really expensive for natives. It's much more of a tourist restaurant.

Nice place with nice view. Food is good. The service might be little bit faster, but still acceptable for Mauritius :). We really enjoyed our stay there.
