Le Château de Bel Ombre

Amazing food in a beautiful setting. Our host, Keshavi, was fantastic. She's knowledgeable in the food options and was attentive in topping up our drinks and making sure our experience was perfect. The food and wine choices were so good we didn't eat anywhere else on the resort after our first visit, as we do love our fine dining and fine wine. We were able to try a number of different options from the menu and all were superb. Keshavi organised a surprise chefs special meal one evening, which was exemplary!

This is the best high-end restaurant in all of Mauritius - a must visit for a special dinner or afternoon tea! The food quality, ambiance, location, preparation and service is top-notch. We truly annoyed our dinner, and they were very accommodating for our daughter. The sommelier was excellent with help for wine, and our server was always nearby to answer questions. It was an enjoyable evening and afterwards we took the short tour of the chateau which was historical and interesting.

11/10 would recommend - Fantastic food and drinks (maybe had the best cosmopolitan ever…). Exceptional hostess! The lemon dessert was out of this world. Unbelievably good. Extraordinary estate with a luxurious and privat feel to it. Thank you very much for this lovely evening!

Went there for an afternoon cocktail. Great experience! The site is just beautiful - very well maintained, the garden as well as the building itself. It’s beautiful inside and outside. The drinks were good, but the main attraction was the view over the landscape. 10/10 - would absolutely recommend going there!

The location of this restaurant if you go just before sunset it’s impressive. Exceptional food and the service outstanding. Allan was who took care of us and he was just perfect. It was my birthday and he even brought me a cake. If you want to have a proper dinner experience you shouldn’t think twice and just go for it!

Dinner at Le Chateau was amazing! The restaurant itself is situated on a stunning property in a wonderfully kept up heritage building. The food is incredible and the service was absolutely top notch. Special shoutout to our server, Sheetal - who truly made the experience incredible for us!

Oh wow...I booked afternoon tea for my friends birthday and it was amazing! Mr Oomesh contacted me straight away after my booking, accommodate my gluten free/vegetarian request. He was in touch with me before my arrival. Brilliant customer service! Then we sat in the beautiful garden, under the umbrella, ready to enjoy amazing sweets with lovely coffee and our private waiter Mr Kadress. Very kind man with good sense of humour :) Definitely coming back! My cup is full 🥰 what a beautiful afternoon it was! Thank you so much 💓 Inka Xx
