Le Chateau des cinq cantons

We enjoyed our few days at this nice location that became our home away from home. In the BandB rooms a daily cleaning turnover would be appropriate and appreciated as also a location to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif glass of wine.|The excellent lap-pool is a relief on the many hot days..also the airconditioner worked perfectly well!|We felt welcomed by the enthousiastic host.|Will be back

I do not leave a review often, but the kindness of our hosts compelled me to post this review. Unfamiliar with the area we got lost trying to find a restaurant for dinner. The hosts of this amazingly charming property put together a spontaneous late night charcuterie for us. Truly |a gesture of kindness on our first trip to southern France. We hope to return!!

Uncomplicated small family managed hotel. |You are welcomed by the very friendly and omnipresent manager and owner Sandrine Chapelet, who cares for every detail. |The hotel is only 15 minutes from main highway going to South of France close to Orange city, and 5 minutes from Carpentras center. Quite spacious rooms and absolute quietness guaranty best resting conditions. There are even rooms with a roof terrace.|Difficult to find a better price/quality ratio!

We had a wonderful stay here, the property is stunning with 2 swimming pools (outside & inside), spacious room and great bathroom. We had a room with a terrace. Brilliant hosts, they made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend. ||

I honestly cannot overstate how wonderful, generous and accommodating Sandrine and her family were to us. Every morning she shared with us her infectious energy and her smile. They genuinely bent over backwards to ensure we had the best possible experience and entirely without hyperbole, I loved every second we spent at Cinq Cantons because of them. The grounds and views are beautiful. The rooms and cottages we stayed in were great but the experience of the family is entirely the highlight of the stay. I am not one for returning to places over and over again (I just think the world is too big to not explore new places) but I would not hesitate to return to Cinq Cantons and will recommend it without reservation to any and everyone who wants to spend some time in relaxing bliss in the area. A million thank yous to Sandrine, Max, Simon and their father. Thank you.

We have just returned from this most amazing and special place, (family of 4 with 2 children aged 6 and 9) we stayed in both one of the rooms in the main house and then moved to one of the self catering apartments, both were simply faultless. In our first few days we were looked after by Max, one of Sandrine's sons and he treated us like royalty, nothing was too much trouble, he booked us taxis, recommended restaurants and made reservations for us as well as putting on an outstanding breakfast each day. Thank you Max and we are sorry we missed you on the day we left.||Sandrine returned after a few days and again she made us feel like we were the only people there. The setting is just lovely, sitting within the vineyard but it is only 10 minutes from Carpentras where you can get everything you need, plenty of shops and supermarkets and being only 20-30 minutes drive from Avignon is ideal and a town that is well worth a full day trip.||The photographs of the rooms on the web site are spot on and speak for themselves.|We will definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending this after the most chilled out 2 week holiday we have had in a long time.

Quiet domain with a beautiful garden, separated so guests can keep to themselves if they wish so. 40minute walk to Carpentras (on backroads, hardly traffic). Modern, recently renovated, fully equipped gîtes. Breakfast bread and patisserie is optional and delicious. Price/quality ratio is superb, especially if you compare in the Provence area.

You have 3 houses and we rented the middle one. The house is located in a very "green" environment, there is also a swimming pool you have to share with the 3 houses and the 2 rooms (which are located in the house of the owners):||||+||we were very impressed by the beautiful French atmosphere of the house, the cleanliness of the house and the equipment of the kitchen (really everything was there, in new state)||the location: very quiet, still near Carpentras (5 minutes drive), supermarcket (Intermarché, 5 minutes drive)||the service: we had a very good breakfast in the house (12,5 euro pp) but the rest of the week they go to the backery in the morning for you, very nice if you are on holiday!||the kidness and the hospitality of Sandrine (the owner): she really gives a warmly welcome, she is very helpfull if you have some questions and she really is a top woman!!!! ||Beautiful swimming pool with a view on the vineyards, we have spent hours in this area||Very nice petanque area!||-||no fly window in the bedroom, there is a AC but we like to sleep with an open window, but there was no fly window, so we had a lot of mosquitos in the room every evening||if you have noisy neighbours, it is a pitty, you are very close to each other.||Very dog friendly, they have a dog themselves: Choco, such a nice old dog!!!!
