Riad Dar des Arts

This riad fully lived up to — and exceeded — our expectations for our first holiday in Marrakech. It combines genuine charm, a prime Medina location, and highly professional, attentive service. Our stay here was infinitely better than our previous riad experience in Fez. From the very first communication before check-in through to daily service and check-out, everything was handled flawlessly. The riad had just reopened in December, only weeks before our stay, and it shows in the immaculate condition and attention to detail throughout. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated in a traditional style, and finished with quality materials. A real highlight was how bright and well-lit the rooms are — a refreshing change compared with many riads. Cleanliness was impeccable in both rooms and shared areas. Breakfast was outstanding, and the availability of excellent barista-quality coffee and mint tea at any time of day, at no extra charge, was a very welcome touch. The rooftop terrace is a lovely space, perfect for breakfast or for relaxing during the day with tea and local pastries. Day-to-day operations are clearly well managed and constantly supervised by the young management team, notably Zak and Imam, who ensure everything runs smoothly and guests’ needs are met immediately. We could not have been more pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this riad without hesitation.

Amazing team made us feel completely at home. We arrived late in the evening by our own means but didn’t have any trouble finding the way to the Riad following the set of instructions provided. Yassine, Zakaria and the rest of the Riad team were always available and doing everything possible to help and to be of service. Breakfast team every morning was outstanding and the quality of the food was perfect. Top quality coffee barista service provided by Léo and his team (best coffee in Marrakesh from our experience). We arrived as guests and left feeling like part of the Riad. Location is perfect and just a whisk away from the heart of the Medina. The team at Riad le Clos des Arts was lovely and they all delivered exceptional hospitality. The positive experience started before I even arrived when they took care of booking me private transportation from the airport. The driver was waiting on me with a sign with the hotel name and he helped me with my luggage. When we arrived to the Medina, the hotel staff was there waiting on us and took my luggage and escorted me through the narrow streets to the riad. (The streets are pedestrian only, and it is a short walk with a few turns so it would be easy to get lost if you’re new to Morocco.) Upon arrival at the Riad, the staff offered me Moroccan tea and cookies and sat with me to provide an overview of the city map and tips on where to go, what to do and what not to do as well as a brief history of the place. ||The Riad is absolutely stunning. From the beautiful tile work, to the gorgeous terrace, to the intricate wooden ceiling, everything was preserved so nicely. Everything is very clean as well. It is quiet and peaceful. ||The staff went above and beyond to help with things that I needed such as dinner reservations, where to find things I needed (like a SIM card) and help with how to buy a rug here. The breakfast was also delicious and I found it hard to leave the terrace in the mornings to start my day because it was so nice.||While this lodging may be on the expensive end, I found it a great value because of the exceptional experience that I had. I hope to return again!

We had a fantastic stay at this riad, which is like a little palace. The welcome was very friendly. The staff are very service-minded, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable with good beds and a perfect shower. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace where breakfast is served and dinner can also be reserved if desired (in December it was a bit chilly on the terrace). The Wi-Fi works perfectly. |The location is also particularly good: in the Medina, yet in a quiet area. We were able to find our way around easily after visiting the many sights in the neighborhood. |We can recomment this Riad to everybody.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Riad Nashira & Spa. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed — they even surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake, which made the experience feel incredibly special. The riad has such a peaceful atmosphere, and every detail shows how much care goes into making guests feel at home.||My room was spotless and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style. I loved learning that each of the 17 rooms is individually designed — it adds so much charm and character to the place. The riad also offers both an indoor and outdoor pool, which was perfect for relaxing at any time of day.||Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of variety. I also have to give a special mention to Adil, who went above and beyond to ensure we were always comfortable. His kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help with anything we needed truly made the stay even more memorable.

I first came to Marrakech in May for business and chose to stay at Clos des Arts with my Japanese partners during a seminar. We all stayed at the riad and were absolutely blown away by the kind and incredible service. The team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the atmosphere was both professional and warm, which was perfect for our business trip. I loved the experience so much that I came back at the end of June with my wife. This time it was for leisure, and it was just as special, if not more. My wife really enjoyed discovering the medina, and Clos des Arts is perfectly located for that. You can walk almost everywhere, easily find taxis when needed, and still come back to a peaceful, intimate place. A special mention goes to Yassine, the general manager. He was highly professional, welcoming, and gave us all the information we needed, both for business and for exploring Marrakech as a couple. His authentic, thoughtful way of taking care of guests made us feel truly special. Yassine also mentioned that they are renovating the riad, and we honestly cannot wait to return and stay again once it is refreshed. Clos des Arts is not just a place you visit once. It is a place you come back to. Wholeheartedly recommended.

For any travelers you must book here! This property boasts the most strategic and central location in the Medina, making sightseeing incredibly easy. Beyond the perfect setting, the service is exceptional. The General Manager, Yassine, runs a first-class operation; he is genuinely the best and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooftop terrace is a stunning, tranquil spot and, hands down, the best we saw. Five stars across the board!

I stayed with a group of friends and honestly, we had such a good time. We spent our days walking around the medina, shopping, getting coffee, and just talking for hours while everything around us was super lively and full of energy. It’s a bit intense at first, but in a fun way. The riad is in a great spot, so we could walk pretty much everywhere, and when we were tired, it was easy to walk back. I also felt safe the whole time, which really mattered to us as a group of girls. Yassine, the GM, was seriously on it, really attentive without being too much. He checked in on us, helped with directions, recommended places to go, and just made sure we were okay. The whole team was really kind and easy to talk to. We celebrated my birthday at the rooftop!!! and it was honestly perfect for me. Nothing over the top, but they made it feel special and I really appreciated that. If you want to be close to the medina, have fun with friends, feel looked after and still have your freedom, I’d definitely recommend staying here!!!
