One of my new favorite hotels! The service was excellent - very friendly, kind, & helpful. The room was immaculately clean and the location cannot be beat. I added a facial and she was amazing too. I have been here twice and will definitely be back.

Great hotel, and an even better location. Just out of the way enough to be less busy, but also close enough to everything you'd want to see. All of the staff were helpful, especially Tiffany who was very friendly and helpful each time needed something, particularly during check-in and check-out.

It's a nice hotel very well located at the edge of the old town/centre. Parking may be a challenge if you won't book a spot with the hotel in advance. Rook was nice and clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of local prosecco. Breakfast was decent but scrambled eggs was not too welcoming. Boiled eggs as you lunch to be undercooked or overcooked. Limited tables available in the garden but your breakfast may still be spoilt by cigarette smoke coming into the inside area.

Stunning hotel, newly renovated to high standard, very comfortable room and ensuite. Reception and breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was in fabulous position in old town little Venice and 15 mins from train station Thank you

Architecturally this hotel is a labyrinth of hallways and staircases that wind in and around a courtyard. Our room was fairly dark as we had a wall in front of us. Other rooms overlooked the courtyard and the street below. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with your typical way of Local cheeses, meats, eggs, bread and more. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel is part of the Diana chain.

We visited this hotel during the high season (Christmas) and were a bit shocked with the quality of service we received. I would start with the pleasant part: the location is amazing, right in the center. The reception area (breakfast/cafe) was very beautiful, modern - probably newly renovated. Now to the shortfalls: Unfortunately, we forgot to book the parking slot, so ended up parking 20 min away from the hotel in a very dodgy area (there was no other parking available and the staff of the hotel literally didn't even care. They gave the common parking names that we already saw while driving which were all full). It is a shame for a hotel that charges quite a lot to have only 10 paid/dedicated parking spots. We were so scared to leave the car there that had to walk at midnight to the spot where we parked and change the place. The service is definitely lacking the human touch - the reception staff does what is required and nothing more. The standard room is old/outdated and TINY (judging by the reception area you would think that the rooms are also beautiful and fresh but NO). We heard every single person passing the hallway. Last but not least, the person working at the cafe at the reception served us the "best" "hot chocolate" in the world (#sarcasm) - he brought hot water in the cup, put the cacao powder on the table and a pot of sugar - people call it DIY. We joked about it upon checkout and were offered a proper one. To summarize: we loved Colmar , but we will definitely not visit it again during Christmas as it feels like a tourist trap in that season, and looks like the hotels take the full advantage out of it.

I stayed here with my family in the only 4 person family roomand it was a very memorable experience. We found the service and amenities to be excellent and the hotel has a real charming and cosy feel. There is a very good selection for breakfast and the location is perfect. I would love to return here one day. Just note that the parking is extremely tight and I still don't know how I managed to get my car into the allocated spot without damaging my car. Definitely the greatest parking challenge of my life.

Yelp

Yelp
Fantastic location! Rooms are small, even by European standards, but who cares when adorable Colmar is calling?! Helpful concierge worked with us extensively when a French train strike derailed (pun intended) our travel plans.

Yelp
A fine hotel in the heart of Alsace! I stayed at Le Colombier for 3 nights in the summer. The hotel is extremely charming with a courtyard and a winding staircase. The hotels rooms are all different. I initially was frustrated that I had to move rooms during my stay. However, I ended up moving from what I thought was the most pleasant room ever to an even more pleasant room! I started in a traditional room which was warm and inviting, with hardwood floors, comfortable beds and a great bathroom. Then next night, I moved to the top floor in a suite. This room had a sitting area, huge sleeping area, massive bathroom and a charming beamed ceiling. This room had a great view of the city. The hotel staff moved my belongings between rooms - I almost didn't notice that I had to pack twice. I ate breakfast each day in the hotel and it is not to be missed. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Coffee, tea, eggs, toasts, cheese, meats. The hotel staff was very friendly - trying to help me find restaurants and spots to visit. They booked taxis as well. When my phone didn't work, the front desk person acted as intermediary between me and my mother. It was a nice touch. All in all, if I visit Colmar again, I will definitely stay at Le Colombier. The hotel is pricey, but worth it for the comfort and convenience. Oh - and the air conditioning works great!!!

Yelp
Looking at the photos I was pretty disappointed with our room... Very small claustrophobic room street level that was facing a side alley that lots of people were walking on. Regardless it was very clean and modern and the service was excellent. Would recommend, only our room size was disappointing.
