Restaurant Arles - Le Comptoir du Calendal - La Table du Calendal - Garden Café

Enjoyed our first sunset here and had a pleasant evening. Drinks tonight (Sunday evening) were less enjoyable because the waiter refused to even look at me or acknowledge me until my husband made him take my drink order before placing his own order. Sexism/chauvinism is ugly and it's a shame this establishment has hired a waiter who won't even acknowledge a woman sitting with her husband. We're in France, not some backwards country that treats women as chattel. If he can't handle looking at or talking to a woman, he isn't qualified to work as a waiter. Disgusting.

Not the best bar in Arles, but probably the best located. Seemingly the only place to get full afternoon sun, I think we went most afternoons for a drink in the sunshine. Views of the amphitheatre and antique theatre are a superb bonus.

Nice hotel in perfect location. Just the Spa is nothing special, but it was good to be a bit in the water after a full day out. Overall is very honest and fair.

The Vegetable Bowl is AMAZING! Super flavorful and yummy! A must try! My husband got the Regina Pizza and he also liked it.

Great place like oasis in the middle of a trip. There are icecreams and coffee so we visited there with our kids. There is also a small place for kids. Our staff was very kind and nice. 👍👍👍

We stopped by on a hot day for a drink and a snack. It was around 11am - the time between breakfast and lunch. We got great service - in fact my wife asked for a variation on the menu and they were most accommodating. A nice cafe!

Wow yelp I really feel mislead. The food here was terrible. I ate two bites of the sandwich and one bite of the gratin. No thank you. The extra star was for the nice service. Food was just bad.

A nice, quiet hotel near the attractions of Arles. The staff is friendly and helpful and there is an attached restaurant and cafe if you do not want leave the premises. The double room we had was small. The decor is nothing to write home about. There was just enough room to maneuver around the bed. The room was overall clean except for a couple stray hairs on the floor of the bathroom, which were not enough to bother us. The bathroom has four dispensers of soap, lotion, shampoo and shower gel. They have reliable wifi. The buffet breakfast is solid, has fresh bread, fruit, cheese, cereal, and meats. A reliable option for a place to stay.

We went here for lunch while visiting Arles. We had poked around for a while but didn't find anywhere that served good food and felt comfortable. Finally I got on Yelp and looked for someplace to eat something good that we were familiar with. This place had good reviews so we went. We weren't that hungry so we each got chicken parmesan sandwiches. We weren't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised how good they were. It was simple yet tasty and surprisingly filling for it's size. The prices were also good. The service was also very good. The people there were nice and the tables were clean and comfortable. The very nice waiters tolerated our subpar French and spoke English as well. They made conversations with us as they were setting up a display and were generally just polite and made us feel at ease.

A bit overrated. The sandwiches and salads are decent. The gazpacho special didn't have much flavor to it. Makes for a safe American style lunch, but nothing to write home about.

Excellent food and service for a great price! We ordered the gratin with chicken and zucchini to share with a small salad each. There was more than enough food and it was delicious. The atmosphere is delightful and casually comfortable. You order you food at the counter and then it is served to you at your table.

Easy and tasty place to catch a casual lunch. Not touristy which was nice and the lunch menu was very affordable. They also have an English menu, so that is nice.
