I visited both this and Villa la Roche on the same day. To those undecided between the two of them (or wondering if it's worth doing both), note that the studio, though much smaller, contains most of its original furnishings while the Villa la Roche is almost entirely unfurnished. The studio also has a particularly nice rooftop view. The two sites are different enough, however, not to feel redundant.
My only negative comment is that I'd assumed my 30 minute unguided tour slot would be free access the entire time through, but it was interrupted halfway by a guided tour which blocked off sections of the home. The attendant was kind enough to let me re-visit those sections even as the tour was going on, but I didn't like feeling rushed/an imposition. If you book an unguided slot, make sure to verify that it doesn't overlap with any guided tours.
