We’re originally from Brittany and we all agreed this is THE best. Obviously great location with an ocean view. Not that expensive cause the view is amazing, staff is super kind, desserts are huuuge but most importantly all the ingredients are high quality unlike many other places. Of course gets super super super busy. So make sure to avoid rush hours!

Google
Crazy crowds, but it's August in Brittany (well ... anywhere in France). But the best crepes we've had in France. Lemon curd and traditional were bold, sharp, and citron to the core. Highly recommend (but come off-season LoL)

Well located on the rampart, this traditional and local restaurant serves fresh galettes and crepes! They have all the classics + other savory options which were pretty good overall 👌 it's also baby friendly as they have a few high chairs and the service was really quick! 👍

Google
Splendid Creperie with an incredible atmosphere and really fiting of it's location in St. Malo along the rampards overlooking the sea! Their main conservatory is very beatiful with innovative seating with storage baskets beneath the seats! The food with just incredible! Slightly on the higher price but really worth it with such a huge selection (took us for every to choose). Can only recommend with really something for everyone to enjoy :)

Lovely creperie, just so busy, and the poor staff are running around trying to keep up with demand, which can make the place feel a bit frantic. Best visited at quieter times or you will need to queue to get in.

Service was fast and accommodating. There are peak moments to avoid if you don't want to wait for a table, but the staff will gladly let you have a drink as you wait. Beautiful view of the beach from the restaurant. Very nice :)

Google
Massive crepes and galettes with a waterfront view. What more can I say? It's honestly the perfect spot to grab an after dinner snack and watch the sunset or to enjoy a nice meal. They have both indoor and outdoor dining, and even with the frequent Bretagne rain, one can still dine in comfort. I would recommend trying their specials of the day and be ready for the flambée crêpe as these can have a bitter burnt alcohol taste to them.

Yelp
Went for Lunch Food - 5/5. The toasted baguettes made it easy to smear the hard butter. Bread had good flavor and I enjoyed the bits of nutty flavor in the butter. Galette had a savory buckwheat flavor with an expertly crafted thinness that made the texture crisp and light. Fillings complimented each other well with the salty and savory ham, creamy cheese, and savory potatoes. The galette wrapped around the fillings like a sandwich, resulting in every bite having a delicious combination of both. Service - 4/5. It is a tight, busy dining area but service was always available and prompt. English was completely fine and while the menu was in French, the ingredient list had an English translation. Value - 5/5. Classic galettes are priced in the low 10€s while the gourmet galetes were in the mid 10€s. Quality was good and the portions left you full. While I am not certain of the usual price of galettes, I found the price to be fair for the enjoyable experience. Parking - N/A

Yelp
Very enjoyable evening for some great food that is part of this region! Had the spicy sardine crepes and a great prune flan. Terrific dinner! Plenty of choices. (I like different stuff so don't decide based on my choices! ) waited was excellent!

Yelp
I came here during the lunch rush on a very busy day - I think I got the last table in the restaurant! Despite the rush, the service was great and quick, and the food was delicious! I got a savory crepe with scallop and garlic herb butter -- absolutely delicious! Be aware that the bathrooms are down 2 flights of stairs so they're not what we'd call 'accessible' in the USA.

Yelp
It's got a great view, probably one of the best of Saint Malo's restaurants. It straight up looks like a tourist trap, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Meals were priced quite reasonably, and inside was well decorated. The food was EXCELLENT - we ordered La Natiere and the pesto/feta/olive oil was delicious, and I set the bar high for galettes in Saint Malo, so well done. For the great view, ambience and fresh food, we give them 5/5 stars.

Yelp
Two words: The view! We sat outside the restaurant in the sunshine at a large wooden barrel as a makeshift table with a view of the bay that was breathtaking. We sipped on local cider and ate sweet thin and eggy galettes. Everything was tasty and the experience was a delight!

Yelp
On the advice of our hotel we went here for some real crepes from Britanny. This was an excellent advice. With regard to the crepes: very good, generous on the ingredients (often corners in a folded crepe are empty, here they are full) Qua location: simply excellent. The only restaurant on top of the walls of the city, with view on the sea. It's orientations makes it the perfect sunset catching location, with the sun setting on the sea. Service itself was very friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Just OK. The food is good, but the service is a bit overwhelmed by the crowd.. What can really spoil your meal is that the dining room is way too small and way too warm...

Yelp
This creperie in Saint Malo is probably the most popular and most famous because of the view. It is the only restaurant in St-Malo (I believe) that is actually on top of the wall, giving you a view of the tides and the islands dotting the sea. As for quality of the food, I don't know how hard it is to screw up galettes and crepes. Having said that, our galettes were very good. I ordered ham, cheese, and egg. Duh, of course the egg was mostly raw so I just ate around it. My husband ordered cheese, mushroom, and tomato and he described it as rich, but good. Definitely go for the view, and the food is just as good as you'll find at any of the other dozens of creperies in St-Malo.

Yelp
Saint-Malo is home to a famous crêperie, (Le Corps de Garde) and seemingly thousands of other crêperies. We had been in Brittany two days and still hadn't had a crêpe. So we had to try one. Boy am I glad we did! First, this restaurant is built into the rampart so you eat your crêpe while gazing out over the azure waves of the Atlantic. That didn't suck. But the view wasn't even as good as the damned crêpe. We split a ham and cheese buckwheat crêpe. I'm not sure what made this thing delicious (and I know my palate was influenced by hunger) but it was amazing. It was one of the best things we ate on this trip. In retrospect, we should have eaten more crêpes in Brittany, but if you are only going to eat one crêpe in Brittany, you could do worse than the ham and cheese crêpe at Le Corps de Garde!

Yelp
great crepes and galettes, try the sparkling apple cider! It overlooks the water, its a great view when its not foggy

Yelp
BEWARE of the salad scam! SUMMARY: Food is very good but they seem to be into the practice of scamming their customers and squeeze the last euro out of them. The following is a detailed account for those interested but the tl;dr is that they try to make you order non-free side dish at a ridiculous price in order to improve their operating margin. DETAILS: So we went today with my wife and baby and we ordered a couple of crepes. Crepe itself was very good. I had a scallop and leek one which was very tasty and quite original compared to what is the usual offering of toppings for crepes in the area. Now comes the "technical" part: when ordering the waiter asked us what we wanted for side dish and said that the crepe could come with either fries or salad. We both ordered salad and were served with a very tiny piece of raw green salad with just a tiny bit of balsamic vinegar. I did not mind the salad being so small but it was obvious to me that at this level and given the way the waiter proposed it to us that it was a free side to the crepe! Well, potential customer, beware. Not only the ridiculous salad was not free but it was actually a full 3 euros! When compared to the price of the crepes themselves which average between 9 and 12 euros, you can immediately see how a couple of salads can drastically improve the margin of the restaurant! Now comes the interesting part: when provided with the bill and discovered the price of those salads i initiated a conversation with the waiter to get some explanations. * When asked about why such a tiny salad was so expensive he answered that it was "in line with our competitors practice", which i highly doubt. * He next mentioned that the ingredients were very fresh. Ok thanks but at this price it's just impossible to imagine that they are taking less than 95% margin on such an item. * Last but not least came the point at which i understood that they clearly try to scam customers: when I said that the waiter did not let me know that the side dish was actually not free when he proposed them as side dish, he gave me a ready-made, lawyer-talk type of answer. He said that if his phrase had been "which of the following two would you like for your sides", the side would have been free but that he said "which of the following two would you like MORE for your sides" and thus i should have obviously understood that the side was not free! (without getting an opportunity to review the price of it). It seems pretty clear that waiter are highly versed into using the proper semantic in order to protect their business from a legal perspective but that everything is done in order to create confusion as to what is free and what is not. Obviously the whole thing is organized to bait the customer into ordering those high margin sides and squeeze every euro from their gullible tourist customers. will never come again!

Yelp
In my opinion, this place has potential. I ordered a crêpe with French Fries and I only got the French fries. I waited 20 minutes for the fries to come out, and there were at least 10 people in the restaurant. I said something to the waiter and turns out, he didn't even write it down. In fact, he even opposes me and said I didn't order it when my friends clearly heard me say it I. French and in English. When I got it it was burnt and there was barely anything in it. On the other hand, it could have been our waiter. But, we did have two waiters because the other one was standing by the door. In conclusion, this place is not the place to go if you're hungry.
