Me and my partner had a surprisingly good meal. It's more like a tapas style but very good overall. I just would like to point out that the fries were not crispy and a bit overly oily.
Now, the highlights were an egg mushroom cream and the cake with chantilly as dessert. Both absolutely succulent.

Me and my girlfriend were in Blois on a tour from one château in the vallée de la loire to the next and wanted to stop for a quick coffee at Le coup de la fourchette. We asked whether it would be possible to have a coffee to-go and the restaurant staff explained that they had no take-away cups and that it wouldn't be possible for them to serve us a coffee to-go. This was totally understandable and after taking a quick glance at the practically empty restaurant we suggested we could have the coffee sur place instead (to also have some cake or smaller bites). The owner told us with a passive-aggressive undertone that her establishment wasn't a bar and told us to leave. Other guests turned around and seemed as surprised as we were. We left and had a coffee at a different restaurant that didn't seem to mind paying customers outside of peak hours.
Conclusion: I'm sure the restaurant is able to serve the usual French bistro-type cuisine and I wish them luck continuing to do so with that attitude. If I were the owner of a restaurant I would remind myself & my staff every now and then of why I opened up shop in the first place and treated my customers with a minimum level of respect.

It is a typical French restaurant. The steak was too done, but we were not asked before. Potatotes nice and good, a bit sweet. Also we took Camembert roasted, 3 prawns, vegeteables lasagne, and french eggs . No dessert and water. Around 60 Euros. Daily menu during morning is affordable (15). All was clean. We were there as it was in Lonely plannet, our expectations were a bit higher.

De passage pour les vacances et quel plaisir de trouver un lieu si convivial. Et surtout très bon. avec un accueil et service des plus chaleureux. Nous avions pris en tapas des encornets, falafels, tataki, frites et gésiers. Selon nous, les encornets manquaient d'assaisonnement, ne les rendant pas mauvais pour autant. Le reste était même au delà de nos attentes. Les cocktails, bières éphémères ou bouteilles ainsi que les digestifs étaient excellents. Merci pour cette belle soirée. Nous recommandons vivement.
