Le Crêpe Chignon

Incredible food and exceptional service. The best chai latte I've ever had! There are many places in Montreal that charge double or triple the price without the quality of service, ambiance, or food. It's a very well decorated place with a curated menu full of flavor. A must go for Rimouski and surrounding towns!

Loved this place! The food and service were outstanding! Note, if you want to go, make a reservation if you want to eat inside. We arrived at lunch time without a reservation and was told it was a 90 minute wait. But they had a couple of small tables outside, and when we asked about those we were seated immediately. My friend ordered the Lord Blue crepe with ham, spinach, apples, blue cheese and cheese sauce. I ordered the salmon Benedict with smoked salmon, asparagus, a sunnyside egg and hollandaise wrapped in a crepe. Both came with a delicious chickpea salad. Both crepes were incredible. The only disappointment were the raspberry muffins I got to go. They were super heavy and dense.

Nice little place to enjoy delicious crepes. They are vegan friendly as you you can "create your own". Their menu has savory as well as sweet items so it caters to both crowds. COVID measures are in place and followed here.

Excuse the photos, as I'm not really sure the best way to take a photo of a crepe! The food here was excellent. Every bite was full of flavour, and the serving size was pretty generous for the price. I was left very satisfied after eating here. I ordered La Crêpe à Steeve, and I was really happy with how much of the ingredients could be tasted in each bite. The only note I would have is that it felt like our server left us for quite awhile. While she was very nice when talking to us, we waited quite a long time to order. When we finished our food, we waited a long while to order our dessert, but rather than ask us if we wanted dessert, they brought the bill. We then asked for dessert first, and taking our order for dessert took some time well... Both our meal and our dessert came quite quickly after ordering, so it was kind of frustrating to be made to wait so long just to order. Finally, when we did finish our dessert, it took us over 15 minutes of waiting to get our final bill, despite us trying to wave down our server. By this time, the restaurant was quite slow, so it was quite frustrating to be sitting there waiting. Again, she was very nice in all of our interactions, but the length of time it took for our server to check in on us was a bit much. Definitely dropped a 5 star experience to a 4 star. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant that left me utterly delighted. The mouth-watering crepes they serve are a true culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor. bustling place with antique decor. I was blown away by the portion size as well as the quality of the food for a low price. It offers a great bang for the buck dining experience. I got the crepe "la totale" as well as the american breakfast "le retapeur". The crepe is filled with chocolate spread enriched with raspberry and bananas as well as cream. The texture of the crepe is crunchy at first then it becomes soft and chewy. "le retapeur" had well toasted bread, tasteful eggs, quality cheese and a light strawberry/raspberry sauce. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

Great price, great food, any meal any time! Really great atmosphere and space, staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious and really well priced! Cannot recommend enough, very much worth a stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Enjoyed an excellent lunch for two this week. Outstanding curry crepe, lovely wine and beer. Waitress very good! Casual atmosphere..highly recommend.

Meh. There was nothing terrible about Le Crepe Chignon, it was just not great either. Came here for breakfast and ordered: - Mushroom and Brie Omelette: While it was cute they shaped the omellete into a heart, that also made the omelette really small. There also wasn't a whole lot of mushroom, but the brie cheese was oozing so that was good. - Crepe with Shrimp: The crepe itself was super crispy and a bit tough to cut, which was disappointing. The shrimp filling was tasty. - Chocllste Crepe: Soooo much chocolate, which I loved. Unfortunately, they added a cheese sauce into the crepe which didn't really go with the chocolate and made it taste weird. - Choco Maya: Thick and tasty hot chocolate. Yum! Good location, friendly service albeit a bit slow. Not as deal breaker though. The main disappointment was really with the crepes - was hoping for more and didn't quite get it.

Nice ambiance, friendly service and yummy crepes.. we had the apple, Brie? How ya me cinnamon crepe.. very good the cheese was all melt inside and the sweet and savoury combo was nice. Kids had Nutella crepes it was too chocolaty for them but they enjoyed the cute presentation! They asked for strawberry on the side but it wasn't fresh strawberries it was more of a compote. Their house smoothie is very refreshing! Over all we really enjoyed the breakfast we had here! If you are in Rimouski it's worth a visit

Really impressed that I can score a breakfast place this high. I really enjoyed what I took . A bit pricey but I chose to take the 14$ plate. Service was great my egg was cooked perfectly. Free wifi but you have to ask for the password. La Basse-cour was a great plate my only criticism is i wish it was bigger.

Great atmosphere, excellent service. The crêpes, and I have been several times now, are consistently above average.

Delicious crepes and friendly service! So tasty that we had to come back on our return trip to Montreal. Also, I appreciate the plentiful gluten-free options.

I ate here at least 5 times while in rimouski on business. Great food. I personally love a chicken, pepper, curry, and cream sauce crepe for dinner.
