Too often I find that “creative” chefs focus on being different for the sake of it, with results that are more unusual than enjoyable. This restaurant is the exact opposite: the chef clearly has a real feel for ingredients and how to bring out the best in them. The flavor combinations weren’t just unique—they were absolutely delicious.
We shared seven dishes, and every one of them was superb: a rich pork ragù, perfectly braised ossobuco, sardine bruschetta that elevated a humble classic, a bright Algarve salad, a soft cheese and fruit pairing, and even the hummus—something so simple—was crafted with care and full of flavor. Each plate was balanced, thoughtful, and memorable.
The proprietors could not have been warmer or more welcoming. Their genuine hospitality made the meal feel personal, as if we were guests in their home.
A truly standout experience—excellent food, authentic charm, and people who clearly love what they do. Highly recommended.
