Le Davoli

Visited this restaurant on my last evening on holiday in Bordeaux, and it’s safe to say I left the best until last! I had the St Pierre menu and opted for the egg & carbonara sauce to start, the pork for main and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Each dish was a flavour explosion I’d never experienced before. The chef is extremely creative and has crafted some magical combinations of food. They are clearly very talented and passionate about what they do. The presentation was amazing as well - all of the dishes were like works of art. The service was outstanding as well. If you’re in Bordeaux id highly recommend visiting Le Davoli!

A really great restaurant. Service was good, food and wine were both super tasty. The dishes were elegant yet decently sized. Every element of each dish complemented the other perfectly. Desserts were fantastic and really interesting. Only issue is it can get very hot inside as there is no AC. Well worth a visit though!

A very warm welcome in a stylish restaurant. The 3-course menu including amuse and pre-starter was very delicious and the wine pairing was also perfect. We felt comfortable during our dinner.

Lovely small restaurant in a buzzing part of the old town. Choose from 3-5 courses and enjoy! The prices are very reasonable for the quality. The owner was serving on the night and is a very pleasant chap. English spoken!

What a delicious meal! Had lunch there and ordered the menu decouverte. All the courses were very flavorful and really well executed. I literally licked the bottom of every plate! Will definitely go back if I'm in the area again!

A really friendly welcome, the Maitre D' spoke perfect English! from the amuse bouche to the desserts, the tastes were splendid, with service and ambience to match. Thank you for a splendid evening

Good food and service. Small selection so be sure to check menu before booking to ensure you are happy to order. We enjoyed our food and was happy with our experience.

Everything was super tasty and well associated, all dishes were perfectly balanced and cooked.

It was a rainy dark evening pleasantly surprised at the combinations! There's no dearth of Michelin quality restaurants in Bordeaux but this one is special guys. I mean I don't think we could find too many fine dining places around the area where the dessert has a dash of Madras spice and it all fits together so beautifully. And the ambience is perfect for happy loud laughter conversations or a more romantic quiet eating experience or for formal business meet ups.

FOREIGNERS NOT WELCOME HERE. Upon arriving with a reservation we were told our reservation had been canceled because we did not have a French phone number. The manager couldn't have been more rude about it. We made a special trip here based on the Michelin review. Our reservation was made days in advance and we received a confirmation email. The only bright spot was that we got to see the food which could not have been more unappetizing. Mixed blessing I guess.

Food here is amazing!...and under priced. Had the 3 course meal with 2 amuse bouche added for only 38 euros. Well worth the price because I would pay 98 euros. Not only are the food of high quality, the portions are generous as well. Highly recommended.
