Surprised by how delicious the chicken caesar salad and beef tacos were, especially as generally more basic items we didn’t want to order when visiting town. The service was slow, as anticipated from other reviews, but we had a friendly server once we got him to the table. We enjoyed the dining experience inside, and were able to get seated inside with a large group of 13 people as a walk-in.

I’ve been in this place multiple times and it’s usually a place I’d recommend in the Pigalle area, but last time I was there it was quite disappointing. Even though the servers were very nice, the service was a bit slow and they weren’t sure of the availability of the drinks we ordered (at first they said they couldn’t make the cocktail we ordered cause they didn’t have an ingredient and then eventually they did have it so they could prepare it). What really left me in shock was the restrooms, which were clearly very dirty, it smelled very bad and it seemed like nobody had cleaned them or do maintenance in there for a long time. It’s a shame because seeing the price of the food and the drinks, one would thought the restrooms should be taken care of. To be honest, I don’t think I’ll be back because of this. The food was good though!

Google
prison vibes, but make it for the girlies 💕 toilet paper: they had sink size: if a sheet cake could be a sink, that was it stickiness: yes 1 or 2 time: shoot for the moon, both. elvis score: depends on how drunk i am. mostly nahhh rail rating: actually yea thoughts: in all seriousness the bartender was the realest girl - loved her 💕💞💝

Google
The atmosphere was alright, it gave off beach house vibes. Other than the atmosphere we had a bad experience. We ordered the chicken burger and the jalapeño cheddar balls. The burger was just okay, and the cheddar balls were bad. They had no jalapeño flavour and they were barely fried. We paid in cash and they had no change for 3€, so we ended up spending 3€ more on subpar food.

I love the vibe, beef tacos was good, also the lighting is perfect and music, was very mix of latin. Service was fast, good. I recommend also oreo cheesecake 🫶🏻

Google
The cocktails were great, very original ! And the general atmosphere is super nice and I highly recommend it ! The downsides : - it’s pricey (15€ for a cocktail, as seen on picture) - the waiters are outnumbered and seem to have trouble managing the amount of people, thus the waiting time is long-ish

Google
good cocktails, great atmosphere & food. slightly on the pricier side for what they serve. staff is attentive enough .. however, do go early if you haven’t reserved in advance since the place gets very busy quite quickly..

Excellent food and friendly service. Everything tasted so good. Great prices, too!

Yelp
Came here on a Friday afternoon and sat inside. The whole inside was empty (as most people were sitting outside) but I didn't mind -- this spot had a GREAT playlist. The wait staff was really nice and my sweet potato fries were fire.

Yelp
Stopped in here after a show at the Moulin Rogue, wanting to cool off with a few drinks (and wait for the crowds to disperse before trying to order up an Uber.) Walked in and told the host we were just looking to drink, not eat (it was after 11pm and the place was far from full). He seemed a little disgruntled at that and waved at us to sit at an unset table in a completely empty section of the restaurant. I had a feeling we'd been exiled to Siberia and that was certainly how service went from that point forward. We got our first drink order in without too long of a wait, and I will give credit that they left us an entire pitcher of water when we asked for water (though no glasses...had to steal them off a neighboring table). It was so hot out that my normally slow-sipping sweetie had his cocktail downed in just a few minutes and was desperate for another drink. That's when it took forever to get anyone to pay attention to us...I managed to finally flag down a server after a good 10-15 minutes or so of waving and trying to get eye contact. And then it took easily 20 minutes to get our second rounds. Cocktails were decent, at least -- and they better be for 14 Euros a piece. There were some interesting flavors and combinations but considering the "service" and the price point, I wouldn't really recommend this place. Certainly not if you just want drinks because I guess they don't really want you taking up their time, even late night.

Yelp
Horrible!! HEALTH HAZARD!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!! For everything that it seemingly is. It is a total health hazard. The food was decent enough the drinks on par. But, literally after my last bite of food... there was baby roaches crawling on the damn table!!! We were sitting inside. Small baby roaches on the dining table no less!! The bathrooms don't even have toilet seats! After seeing the roaches on the table I instantly got sick and had to throw up. Not used to dining with roaches!

Yelp
My friend Caroline brought me here for lunch! The Guacamole is the best I've had in France in a while, but honestly I wasn't super impressed. They do happen to have the largest burger selection ever though. There is a serious burger trend going on in Paris and it's simply hysterical. The burger I got was called the Obama Burger...it's was the biggest thing I've ever seen. Try it out, I know this place is great for evening drinks!

Yelp
I'm officially over the burger trend in Paris. Not only that, I'm actually nostalgic for the days when you could count the number of burger joints in Paris on one hand. What Dépanneur has is a great location, a cool space, enough wood paneling to build a few log cabins, and a lot of chutzpah charging over the top prices for its average food and drink. In an attempt to eat light I ordered a large Caesar chicken salad. I thought this American joint should do everything right, not just burgers. I was wrong: the chicken was dry and overcooked, the dressing wasn't authentic and their croutons (while homemade) were tasteless and dry. My dirty vodka martina was also a disaster, watered down and full of vermouth. My husband's burger was super greasy and loaded with way too much sauce and the bun was over toasted. At 17E, everything should be perfect. If you're looking for a fantastic meal and great cocktails, this is not your place. Plus the service was super slow and spotty. Not a fan.

Yelp
A short distance away from Pigalle one will find Le Dépanneur. Designed with alot of Californian love. The Dépanneur's decor is great. Wood panelling galore and who could hate those geometric stools outside on the terrasse. The menu is good and has a nice selection. I ordered the Obama burger. They seem to take their sweet time in the kitchen as a friend and I waited around 45 mins for lunch to arrive. The waitress seemed friendly but distracted in speaking with mostly the people she knew. The burger, when it finally arrived was tasty. The bun was not toasted and so the overly generous serving of sauce made it rather sloppy to eat. So eating it with a fork and knife in this situation was perfect but a necessity The fries were delicious. No complaints! All in all the Dépanneur is a nice place, but come on 17€ for a burger and fries is a tad OVERPRICED! I realise this burger fad that is sweeping over Paris is being gobbled down, but 17€ ? Please adjust your pricing. I'd like to pay for the food and not your decorator! The team behind the food truck Cantine California was hired by owner Olivier Marle to capitalize on all the Parisian food trends of the moment: burgers, tacos and cocktails. Bonus points for milkshakes and cake. The non-mobile endeavor features a spacious bar in the back room and a lounge upstairs for the enjoying cocktails.

Yelp
I just can't help hunting for tacos. This cute restaurant sit outside the metro station Anves and with chic deco in a greyness tone, which is not that common in paris (but that is the part i like). The pork taco was juicy, the portion is great. The beams are too watery though. And interestingly I don't find it mexican. The presentation, the light taste, it is so french, in a good way. And the staff are nice, great service. it was a break from the tradition french uptight suit and tie serving!

Yelp
Oh my, so delicious. Please visit Le Depanneur if you are ever anywhere near Pigalle. It's an absolute must. After staying in the area for a bit, a friend and I decided to make a nice little cafe break and stumbled upon Le Depanneur. We had a lovely brunch filled with espresso, guacamole, salsa, chips and a quinoa pomegranate salad. Everything was better than I could have imagined. The ambiance is wonderful as well. It reminded me so much of the west coast after having lived in Los Angeles for quite some time. It's like having a little piece of Santa Monica in the heart of Paris. We stopped by once again, later in the evening, for drinks and the restaurant was absolutely packed compared to our quaint little lunch when we were the only ones in Le Depanneur. It was just as good though! Wonderful music, people and very lively. Will absolutely be going back and you should too!

Yelp
Coming from America, we were happy with our food and service! It was empty so we were the only ones seated inside. We got our food very fast and it was delicious. We ordered the guacamole with pico de Gallo, as well as the bbq pulled pork with Mac and cheese!

Yelp
The place looks nice, but the service is horrendous. I had lunch here 14 months ago, it was bad, but I didn't want to write about it since it was my first time and I wanted to give it another try. I went again this past Sunday and it got even worse. The servers and the barmen didn't care if the customers come or go. After I waited for a long time for them to bring me the bill, I then went to the bar to ask for it. They were annoyed that I disturbed the conversations with their friends. I guess the were just there to be there and to get pay, but not to work.

Yelp
HORRIBLE. I think I paid 16 euros for 3 tacos and beans, an outrage for someone who has lived in California. The tacos were decent for about a minute, until the sauce from the red (canned I'm sure) beans mixed with the tacos and made them all mushy... I had a meltdown. It was a soggy mess. Didn't they see that coming???? Isn't there some law in france that says you can't be called a restaurant if you serve people canned food???? Seriously. You're better off going to Chipotle.

Andrea C.

Yelp
Really great ambiance -- I actually felt like I was back in Los Angeles. We ordered two cocktails, a burger, the carnitas and ceviche to share. The burger was not that great. The patty was mushy and it took a lot of effort to keep things from sliding off the bun. A bit small as well. The fries were limp and cold. The carnitas were decent--much better than the standard taco places you find in Paris. The ceviche was absolutely the highligh of the meal. Super fresh and perfectly seasoned. I would have liked some chips and avocado with it, though. My cocktail (the something - Tomy) was absolutely delish! Highly recommend. My husband's (the Pasadena) was a bit strange...bitter with too much of a Cointreau-syrup taste, but strong. Overall, the food was decent, the cocktails strong, so I would return, but maybe just for drinks/snacks with friends, and to listen to the great playlist they have on in the background. I think the main dishes are overpriced for what you can easily find elsewhere.

Yelp
A pleasant surprise! Split a bottle of wine with a friend, shame that you couldn't get a pitcher, but they had a good range of wines at different prices for the bottle. She had the Caesar salad, and I had the carnitas tacos. I'm no expert on tacos, but I was really pleased with the flavor. They got a bit soggy by the end, though. Her salad was well made - chicken cooked well and big chunks of bacon. For dessert we had a strawberry milkshake! A real one! Woohoo! Service was quick and super friendly. Decor is cute. Music was techno pop terrible, but I'll forgive it. I'm planning to go back - they seemed to have a pretty good tequila selection that I'd like to try. (oh a little on the pricey side, but didn't seem unreasonable to me)

Yelp
I would give this place no stars. Went in and ordered a pitcher of a cocktail ... 40 minutes later still no drinks. We saw everyone else in the restaurant was getting frustrated as well waiting for their drinks, some people were receiving the wrong drinks and they were taken away. After an hour of waiting and getting nothing we finally just left. Not a good experience and it was not because we were Americans the locals were equally as frustrated and upset!

Mike K.

Yelp
Great restaurant in Pigalle. Although im not a big fan of the area this place is really great and sticks out of the lot with its unique ambiance. Menu is by cantine california which is one of the original burger food trucks in paris. Their burgers are really excellent and are all prepared with great fresh products. Staff can get a little overwhelmed by all the people and service can get slow at certain times, but other than that place and food is great

Victor S.

Yelp
Very nice place for a very nice and solid burger! Environment is awesome with the hip hoppy lounge music and cool wooden walls. Price is a little high, but worth for the experience. The Obama Burger is great and fries are crispy and salty! Just perfect for my taste

Pierre C.

Yelp
Horrible service. Told us they stopped serving cocktails at 9.30pm on a Friday night with a straight face while serving one to someone next to us. If you're like me and like being treated with respect choose another place.
