Ended up there as I was alone on a business trip in Paris. The place was sold out but they managed to shoe-horn me in. The wonderful and convivial atmosphere cheered me up, with both staff and guests being friendly and welcoming. Food is simple and classic French, but of very good quality and tastes amazing. The selection of wines is affordable and with loads of original wines from small producers. Overall, I’m planning to come back and discover more new wines!

What an absolutely exceptional find this restaurant has been. Such yummy and very local style food. They have a fine wine selection and at very reasonable prices. The quail was a pleasure and salad complimented this very well

What a wonderful find. The owner/manager was so accommodating, helped us find wines we would enjoy in English and served us a beautiful plate of charcuterie. This bustling, local wine bar was one of the highlights of our trip.

Supposed to be open to 1:30 am. The manager was extremely rude AFTER we bought a bottle and told us we can’t drink there and should go drink with the homeless. He was also extremely drunk and balding.

The manager was very rude! The place was supposed to be open until 1:30 am and when at 12:30 we went and got a bottle of wine, the manager said we can’t drink outside the place!!

If you are a visitor that wishes to live outside of your comfort zone, this is the place to eat. Make an effort to speak a little French to the friendly staff, and navigate the menu to enjoy an incredible home-made meal from a menu that changes regularly. An extensive and reasonably priced wine selection is also available, all of which combines to make this restaurant one of the best in the area. Highly recommended!

Second time here and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Pork cheeks was really amazing - so tender and flavorful! Great service also. Still a favorite in Paris. Incredible desserts and we also lived the wine. We'll be back, hopefully soon. Finally back again in Sept 2018 and just as good as we remembered it!

Always a great meal here. This was our 4th visit. Cold pork with tomatoes. Two mustards provided. Wow I am not sure how they prepared the pork but the fat was almost like a soft custard. The flavor of the pork was great and the mustards really made the dish great. The tomatoes were cut and in a bowl with oil and seasoning. Went very well with the pork. We selected a baba for desert. Nice almost cream cheese like dressing and a small extra shot of run to add to the run on the cake. Two meals and 4 wines for 57 euro lunch. Great wine and nice service.
