This hotel recommended a company called Shima Travel Tours for our traveling across the country, managed by Mamadou Cisse Fall. He assigned us a driver named Ousmane. During one stop, after leaving our luggage in the car with the driver, 300 euros in cash and a power bank went missing. After our claim, the manager later returned the power bank and told us we would be compensated for the missing money. Unfortunately, this never happened, as communication stopped after we ended our trip and left the country. Please be advised.

The Djokoff, Dakar, was our first hotel in Senegal. The room was very basic but clean and the bathroom was ok. The airco was a bit nousy but chilled the place. There was only one big towel pp. An extra small towell had been good. Our breakfasts and dinners at the cosy rooftop patio were great!

It’s a beautiful three star hotel ; the restaurants on the rooftop got a beautiful view of Atlantic ocean. Transportation Limited, you have to go anywhere by taxi ; the room is comfortable, Many Amenities are available.

Comfortable option in a central location. The rooms are small and dark but have what you need. There is some street noise depending on the room, but mostly it is quiet. The rooftop terrace restaurant is lovely with views of the water. The hot water in the showers is great and the bed is clean and comfortable. There are no bug nets, so during the rainy season you may want to bring your own. But in the dry season I only had one or two mosquitos in my room. And there were screens on the windows and good AC.

10minute walk from Soumbedioune marche - we stopped off for a beer on the rooftop - rooms look gorgeous - lovely art hung around the hotel - staff were delightful - jazz club in basement which is open every weekend from March

Great place to stay in Dakar. A bit noisy but that's the city ..

Very stylish hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The pillows were a little too high for my liking, but that's a personal preference. Location was fine but not great - no tourist sights in walking distance. Nevertheless, had a wonderful stay here and would stay again.

Stayed here at the start of a tour across Senegal. ||The hotel is in a mostly residential part of the city…there are the usual neighborhood sounds and smells. You may or may not like this, so bring some earplugs, if a light sleeper. ||The rooms are on the smaller side…but the bathroom was larger. There are some quirky design elements like the window screens. ||Overall the room was fine and the bed comfortable. Lots of power outlets for the electronics is a positive. ||Breakfast in the morning was lacking sadly…I would have expected more. The staff was very helpful in getting the items that were used up though. ||Didn’t try the WiFi.||It’s okay for a few nights…there may be better options but pricing is good here.
