Restorations definitely needed in the rooms, the sink countertop has a big crack, one of the only few electric sockets was loose and merely secured for charging. The French curtains are nice focal points for photos. The lobby is a completely different scene, it was nicely decorated with relaxing atmosphere. Front desk and room staffs are professional and helpful. Location is excellent for Eiffel Tower visits. I personally do not think it is worthy the price consider the condition of the room.

My family and I stayed here for just a single night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. This property is stunningly gorgeous and the staff maintains the highest standards with a smile. Ms. Anna made several shapes for my daughter out of napkins at breakfast. The champagne service was delightful; and the elevator is lined with actual panels from vintage Louis Vuitton trunks. Our room had spectacular views from the 5th floor and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in any hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and if you’re looking for amazing restaurant recommendations, or an old-school luxury vibe, this is the place to stay.

I had a memorable stay at this charming hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful—warm, attentive, and eager to share the property’s rich history. Special Shoutout to Habib at the concierge desk, Ana who was extremely helpful and charming at breakfast and Maria who is an amazing sommelier! the Dokhan happens to have the oldest champagne bar in Paris! ||The hotel itself feels like stepping into a "hôtel particulier," which felt like a grand, private urban mansion or townhouse, with famous paintings and fascinating historical details around every corner.||The only drawback was the uber-tiny rooms. While cozy, clean and beautifully decorated with all of the "Parisian Old Flair" they were noticeably smaller than expected, which might be a concern for travelers with lots of luggage or those wanting more space.||Tips: Use your Marriott Bonvoy status... you get complimentary breakfast if you are Platinum or above. |Do have a glass of champagne at the historical bar |Do enjoy the ride in the only Louis Vuitton elevator in the city|Do check out the no-fuss delicious walking distance restaurant called "Bistrot Le Poincaré" get the Seabass or Entrecôte! it was recommended by the hotel and delicious! ||Overall, if you appreciate great service, character, and culture, this hotel is a gem—as long as you don’t mind a tiny -compact room.

It was an overall satisfying stay at a boutique hotel with a great location for sightseeing, friendly and professional staff, and an antique yet romantic atmosphere. ▪ Location Perfectly located within walking distance of both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, allowing you to truly experience the charm of Paris. The metro station is nearby, and it’s easy to get a Bolt ride as well. ▪︎Staff From the moment we arrived, the reception staff gave us a warm welcome. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were professional and kind. There’s also a sommelier who can recommend excellent wines. ▪︎Service The hotel offers a welcome drink and provides very responsive service. The first room we were given had a separate toilet and shower room, but the toilet space was quite small for a tall man. Once we mentioned it, they responded promptly, moved our luggage to a different room while we were out, and handled everything perfectly. ▪︎ Facilities Since the hotel is housed in a historic building that has been remodeled, the overall space is not large, and those who prefer modern, spacious facilities might find it less appealing. However, the antique and boutique charm makes it even more romantic. Everything is well-maintained and spotless, as expected from a five-star hotel. The bathroom was smaller than expected, but not all rooms are like that. I highly recommend choosing a room with a terrace.

THIS HOTEL FELT LIKE HOME. Truly. From the moment I walked in, there was this warmth and kindness that you just don’t find everywhere anymore. In a world where good service is becoming rare, this hotel reminded me what genuine hospitality feels like. Every single staff member has that true, classic French charm — gentle, polite, always smiling — and they really do make your stay an experience. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Paris, big and small, and this one stands out above all of them. From the second you arrive, they take care of your bags, welcome you with a light tea and a warm towel, and instantly make you feel like you belong there. It’s the kind of comfort that stays with you. The hotel also has the oldest champagne bar in Paris, and the two people who run it are absolute angels. You can feel how much they love what they do. And I have to give a very special thank you to Habib at the front desk. His kindness, patience, and care truly made us feel at home. He made our stay unforgettable. Oh — and the elevator? It’s Louis Vuitton. Only in Paris. I can confidently say I won’t stay anywhere else from now on. This hotel will always be my Paris home

Google
We had a truly unforgettable stay at Le Dokhan’s, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Paris. It’s a charming boutique hotel where you can feel the real spirit of France — elegant, intimate, and full of character. The historic Louis Victor elevator and the cozy Champagne bar make it a very special place with its own Parisian soul. I want to give a special thank you to Yann, the sommelier, and the entire team for the wonderful birthday surprise they prepared for me. It was such a thoughtful and luxurious gesture that made my day truly magical. Everything — from the warm hospitality to the refined atmosphere — made my stay exceptional. We will definitely come back

We stayed here as a couple during thanksgiving break. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is so cute and perfectly tailored to the holiday season. A major highlight of the trip was drinking champagne and espresso in the champagne bar, it's beautiful! The entire staff at Le Dokhan's did a fantastic job and they diligently answered question and request we had. Special shoutout to Alessandro, Mattia, Katarina, Celien, Irena and Habib who did an amazing job!

The hotel was not worth the points. The size of the sleeping room was a shoe box. No room for your luggage. Bathroom very small. However the service was great and Anna at the breakfast was terrific. They didn’t have Tabasco for the breakfast and Anna went out to get it for my husband! Very nice people. Great location, walking distance to the ET.

Yelp
We were 5. I suggested and paid to upgrade my room, the staff were too problematic to go to this process. After that I got stuck in the small elevator and there was not reaction- my family was panicking. I went and asked for the manager next day. Staff did not react to this emergency. Stressful experience. They offered me a discount for my upgraded room, breakfast and 2 bottles of wine. We couldnt take the breakfast until next day and my family does drink. The staff acted like they were doing us a favor. We were very uncomfortable the whole time, we checked out super early next day. I received an email from the Hotel Manager saying that the stuff acted and came to us first thing after the I got stuck in the elevator and thats not true. In that hotel, everything is good until it is not.

Yelp
GREAT does Not describe the gem of Boutique hotel Le Dokhan's truly is! I stayed for five nights in February 2024, after staying 9 nights at another hotel, not worth my time expressing my displeasure. I was so desperate that I went looking for somewhere I could stay that would not leave such a bad taste of Paris after such trying encounters in my life and so I could leave with a wonderful experience in my mind. Due too many personal reasons, I've been going to Paris constantly for the last three years... Three times in the last eight months, so it has not been for pleasure, but if you are in Paris, the least thing you can do is enjoy wherever you are, and I finally found it in, Le Dokhan's! To start a young woman, who is in charge by the name of "Livia" was extremely helpful, showing me a room and allowing me to sit down near the fireplace to contemplate my next move. She sat down with me and explained some questions I had, never feeling rushed and truly feeling welcomed... And everything was in English! Because of her, I spent my last five nights in Paris at Le Dokhan's. It is a boutique hotel, with its own special and private feel, so if you're looking to get in and out without savoring the experience, this is not for you. You should probably be staying at a hotel that looks exactly like every other hotel that is cookie cutter... This has history, great service, both in the rooms and especially at the front desk. It is majestic, and exquisite all at the same time in a very delicate and lovely setting. I had the privilege to also meet the manager and most of the front desk staff... Each of them was patient, knowledgeable, and added to the atmosphere. I cannot recommend this hotel enough... Yes, there were a few things that are not even worth mentioning that could've been done better and I brought that to the attention of Livia And she made notes and agreed on some, and explained why others were done in the way they did. You, as a client are taken notice of and they truly are concerned. The owners have done a magnificent job, maintaining the buildings architecture, but most of all choosing the employees which are mainly women with the exception of two amazing men Including Richard who was utterly fantastic! Treat yourself to Le Dokhan's I now know where I will be staying every time I'm in Paris if my health allows me. And I will savour each moment. Thank you Livia!

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel 1st of September 2022 We selected this hotel because of the boutique atmosphere and of the location close to the Arc de Triumphe and The Eiffel Tower. What we didn't know is that this location is spectacular as it is walking distance for pretty much all of Paris. The location offers access to an array of activities, including cultural and shopping excursions. The restaurant is limited but satisfactory and the doorman by the name of Mario it was a great asset in directions and suggestions Finally, I was ecstatic to find that we were right next to a laundromat and with me being a laundry freak, combine that with a nice restaurant right across the street as well as mini grocery store there is really no reason to go anywhere but this hotel. The elevator at this boutique hotel is tiny, room for two people and maybe a couple bags, but when the door is open the whole inside is lying to look like a Louis Vuitton classic brown bag I would definitely stay there again

Yelp
Never EVER stay at this hotel! EVER!! While I found the concierge gentlemen to be most helpful, my daughter and I not only got sick from staying there, but they had the audacity to charge me €500 for laundry, and proceed to RUIN three pairs of white linen Villebriquin shorts, which cost about $250 each to replace Even though they came back clear washed with the darks and now having a blueish tint, as well as dye issue, they refused to take responsibility and even proceeded to say that the outside vendor inspected the shorts before and said they had done no damage. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! They are irresponsible, and no where near worth the price of the hotel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT. Marriot should cancel their contract.

Yelp
This is an absolute beautiful boutique hotel! The check in was lovely, smooth and very friendly! When we got to our beautiful room on the 4th floor, we noticed how small the bathroom was and for tall people like us, while it wasn't good we were not gonna make a huge deal as we wouldn't be in the room but to sleep anyway! The MANAGER brought our luggage up not a bell boy - yes The Manager - THAT was impressive in itself. Not sure how it happened maybe my husband nonchalantly said the bathroom was small because less then 5 minutes later a call came that we were being switched to a different room on the 2nd floor. We were immediately transferred to a room just as beautiful with a bathroom almost as huge as the room! Super impressed! The previous room had a complimentary Bellini I think I didn't get to open it and a couple of macaroons and there weren't any in the new room I had mentioned that i forgot to grab my macaroons and when we returned from a long day of exploring not only was our room turned down with yummy cookies, a personal delivery of macaroons arrived! Oh my god I was in Heaven! The next day as were leaving to explore more of this beautiful city, the Maid was in the hallway and with a huge beautiful smile she offered me those yummy cookies! Whaat? #Love The staff here ARE amazing and accommodating! Don't ever feel like you're bothering them because they do not make you feel that way! Don't know which one was which as they were all "handsome" but Ugo and Geoffrey were the ones messaging me to check if we were okay and if we needed anything! That's an excellent quality in a hotel when the staff is nice and accommodating! Will I stay here again? Heck yes! I think this will be be our GO TO Hotel and should definitely be yours! Thanks you Le Dokhans for a lovely stay! We'll be back! Lotsa hugs from, Lance & Robertta Morales San Francisco, Ca - January 2020

Yelp
This lovely little hotel was within walking distance of the Trocadero Metro stop, the Arc de Triomphe, and several restaurants. The included breakfast of juice, coffee, croissants and bread was sufficient to get us going each day. The staff (I think the concierge/manager's name was Madeline) was extremely helpful. We needed to get a COVID test for the river cruise which followed our visit to Paris. Madeline made numerous phone calls for us since our French was not good enough to communicate. We eventually learned the nearby pharmacies couldn't/wouldn't do what we needed for us foreigners. Madeline and her co-worker found a laboratory within 10 minutes walking distance that could do the tests. Cleaning staff who we met in the halls were very friendly and nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
We stayed here for 5 nights over the New Year. The location can't be beat. An added bonus was a laundromat directly across the street. We had a larger room which was nice but I'd say it was a bit outdated. They also ran out of bath towels for the rooms our last two nights so we had to dry off after showers with hand towels. There are quite a few nice restaurants in the area. And a large grocery store called Casino a couple of blocks away.

Yelp
Bilel is amazing and was so helpful! All the staff goes out of their way to help you! The rooms are stunning and atmosphere in the hotel is fun and joyful! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Yelp
Le Dokhan. This is a small, higher-end, boutique hotel, with a great location for exploring Paris, near transportation, fabulous restaurants, and a few minutes away from Trocadéro and the Iron Lady beyond. Service was impeccable, the Staff courteous and attentive, the beds and rooms comfortable -- after six days, there is not one thing I would change. Excellent hotel, Five Stars, and deserves more.

Jim R.

Yelp
A comfortable hotel with very small rooms by U S standards but fairly typical of Paris, especially in historic properties. Rooms are nicely appointed and they offer free Wifi which is nice. Be sure to checkout the champagne bar just off the lobby and enjoy a champagne flight chosen by their somelier. Note, however, this does not begin until 6 pm. The location is very good, close to the Eiffel Tower and within walking distance of the Trocadero metro stop which allows for easy access to the rest of Paris. Staff was efficient and helpful and all spoke English. All in all a great base for our long-weekend in Paris.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed in the upstairs suite and were surprised by how much we loved this place. The second half of our trip was spent at a much more luxurious hotel in the 9th and all we kept talking about was how we should have stayed here for the entire trip. The staff were wonderful, the room service provided a solid breakfast and every window had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. But the best part was that we could step outside and walk to the metro, champs elysée or the Eiffel Tower with ease. The small louis vuitton elevator you'll ride up to your room perfectly embodies the luxurious old world charm of this hidden gem.

Ann N.

Yelp
I can't stress enough how truly WONDERFUL this boutique hotel is. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous and charming, and well-located, it's the great staff that really elevates the experience. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and they truly addressed all my concerns. For example, I was having trouble charging my phone as my cord was dying, and they immediately gave me a new adapter, and the next day, they had placed a new charging device in my room, which worked perfectly. The staff also recommended wonderful restaurants just minutes away, so walking was quite easy, and they were always willing to help me expand my French vocabulary. I would absolutely recommend Le Dokhan's, and hope to stay there again in the future. As they say, "A la prochaine."

Yelp
I give it 4 stars due to super minor things that others might not find it a big deal. Pros: -front desk speaks English. Some understand more than others but they are all really helpful. -super friendly staff. The cleaning crew was also very nice even when I butchered French (with an American accent) -rooms are clean and super cute. I won't put con for the size of the room since all European rooms are small. It's not the American size everyone is used to. I overheard an American complain about the size of the room. Please remember this is the norm. It's not the American style "supersize me". -Bath products are nice. I always base this on how nice my hair feels. And the bath products doesn't smell like men's cologne. -the blanket is a comforter! So I was warm through out the night. I'm from California. Any temperature below 74 degrees F is considered cold. But right now is 34 degrees F and I am still comfortable. -it's few blocks away from many attractions. -there is a grocery store half block down the street. -can go running starting at the Eiffel Tower area. Went for a 4 mile run. There is a bike/walk path that can be utilized next to the river path. -there is a self laundry washing place across the street. Cons: -no curling light so the room does get pretty dark at night even with 5 lamps/night stands -bathroom tub glass door is only partial. So water can splash into the floor. -the window didn't quite close well but the thick curtains still created a barrier and kept most of the cold air out. -closet can be bigger but once again I think this is European size. -laundry service is really really expensive. Overall I would recommend and would defiantly stay here again!

Yelp
After travelling for 22 hours to get to the hotel, and after having alerted Marriott well in advance that we were a party of 5 in two rooms (two adults, three children) - we were essentially kicked out of the hotel. The hotel manager very kindly helped us find alternate accomodations at a poor-quality, out-of-the-way Marriott that caused us additional travel costs throughout our stay. Many excuses were given as to why we could not keep the rooms that were available to us (it is illegal/ there are taxes to be paid/ we would not be comfortable) but an accommodation could, and should, have been made. Shame on you Le Dokhan's, shame on the manager, and shame on Marriott (who allowed this to happen even as I was on the phone with them). ....if you are an odd numbered party you should stay far away from this hotel. A very poor start to an otherwise wonderful time in Paris.
google avatar

Allison H.

Yelp
Great location, beautiful period-style boutique hotel, I loved the quirky little elevator. The ONLY thing I disliked is there really wasn't a place to get ready. I could put on makeup in the bathroom but there's no plug-in for the curling iron. In the main room the only place to plug in with a mirror is by moving chairs and sitting on the floor. Putting a mirror over the desk would or be a perfect way to solve this issue! I'm also thankful I showered the night before because the blow dryer only worked for a few seconds at a time. Lastly, be sure to bring an adapter for the outlets if you're from the US - many hotels will provide these but this one does not.

Yelp
Fantastic. Jean Philip, concierge is attentive to every need. Stay in the Penthouse with suites view of Eiffel and best bed in Europe

Yelp
Such a great boutique hotel. We were upgraded to a suite and while it was small (as per the norm for Europe) it was still very very nice. The staff was friendly and in a central location. Only about five min from the Eiffel Tower and we could see he Tower at night from our room. Will definitely book this place again !

Yelp
My wife and I have wanted to go to Paris ever since we started dating in 2001, and after years of saving, we went in June of last year (2016). When we planned our trip, we did a LOT of reviewing and comparing, and we settled on Le Dokhan's. We were extremely happy with our choice! They went above and beyond our expectations. The staff were extremely courteous. Forget those American rumors about rude French people. Nonsense. The staff were warm., respectful and very helpful. The room was charming, the spiral staircase and the elevator were charming, the champagne bar was world-class, the location was perfect, and the whole experience was the polar opposite of checking in with a hotel chain. I can't say enough good things about the hotel, the staff, the ambience... a memory I'll treasure for the rest of my life. A heartfelt Thank You to all of the management and staff. If we ever return to Paris, we will stay again.

Yelp
Le Dokhan is a nice, traditional, comfortable hotel in a high-end Parisian neighborhood out of the crush of tourism. You'll pay a little less for quality out of the fray. It's a reasonable (less than 15 minute) walk to the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe or 10-minute Metro from most other central destinations. Staff is English speaking and highly professional. Small rooms like much of Paris, but well appointed if you like traditional decor. Very small, traditional (old) lift. This hotel is not for the modern enthusiast, but is solid for the traditionalist. Stay on upper floors (4+) for Eiffel peak, just be prepared for many stairs or patient wait for lift. The Radisson Blu Metropolitan, a few blocks away, is for those seeking a more modern hotel and rated 5 stars from this traveller.

Yelp
Charming Parisian Hotel! I have had a wonderful stay at the Dokhan's. Service was perfect, Rooms are comfortable, Beds are outstanding! We had a lovely breakfast and a champagne tasting experience we will never forget.
