Expect to See These Hotels All Over Your Feed in 2026 | Condé Nast Traveler

"“This is not your typical tropical all-inclusive. Tucked away on the northeastern corner of Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles, this new resort from La Réserve promises to bring its French-tinged take on luxury to this tropical destination. Featuring just six private villas nestled along a secluded white sand beach and immersed in the islands’ remarkable biodiversity, each villa will span approximately 8,000 square feet with four to six bedrooms each, complete with full kitchens, private pools and direct beach access. Guests are treated to a fully staffed, all-inclusive experience with dedicated a Maître de Maison orchestrating every detail, private chefs personalizing daily menus, and discreet housekeeping that slips in and out essentially unnoticed.”" - Todd Plummer

The hotel is 4 star hotel, but still nice furnished. Little bit rustic style. Location in beautifull. Breakfast is quite good. There was enough food, but I didn´t like that birds could fly inside the room. Beach is really good. The stuff were really friendly and they organized a private trip to La Digue at a short notice

Absolutely scandalous. By law, all beaches are publicly accessible, except at Anse Petit Cour, privatized by le domaine de la Réserve. At the entrance, the guard told us we cannot access to the beach. He told us to go around to access the beach, which is not possible, there are fences all around and then a wall... Looking at the picture, we dud not have our rockclimbing gear to go down...After loosing 20 minutes, we came back to the same guard and told him this action is breaking the law, he responded this is the rules of the management. Therefore, we conclude that the management of le domaine de la Réserve is breaching the law of Seychelles which is very serious.

Oh dear :( We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon after a fantastic hotel stay and wedding on La Digue, hoping that we would find a fantastic luxury hotel experience for such a special occasion. I'm sure this hotel was 'luxury' once, but it's now all looking a little tired. The package we booked advertised an 'In room welcome with delicacies' which we did not receive. It also advertised a 'Special Honeymoon dinner' which we had to go to reception to ask for, as none of the staff mentioned it. None of this made us feel very special.||The room was spatious and the bathroom area very nice. However, the air conditioning unit was very old and loud, it could not be left on at night as you would not get any sleep! The wi-fi was terrible and hardly ever worked. The bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable. The pillows were awful, they looked and felt very old. There was no bedside table on one side of the bed, so we had to use a make shift chair!||The food was all buffet style. It was mostly decent food, but I would not expect a buffet at such an expensive hotel. The wine also seemed very expensive and over-priced for the quality.||All in all, we found the hotel very expensive considering the quality. Some of the staff were quite surly and in general we did not find it a friendly place to be. Even the Curieuse snorkelling trip offered by reception seemed very overpriced for what we received. We were taken to Island and dumped on the beach with no offer of any instructions or information about the island at all.||As this was our honeymoon we were sadly quite disappointed.

We stayed in a different hotel each night of our honeymoon, and this was probably the most unique (in a good way) stay of them all. The mountains feel close enough to grab, there's snorkeling right on the property, and the design of the rooms all feel like you're living in the middle of the jungle. The food was great, and staff was very kind. My only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable.

The most beautiful hotel to stay on your vacation. Loved each and every bit of the stay here. Rooms are widely spacious and we got the beach front room. Excellent view from your room. Complimentary breakfast had various varities of dishes. Different set of Dinner menu for each day of the week. Dinner was tasty too. The hotel is situated in such a beautiful location it itself looks like an tourist spot. Huge swimming pool. If it rains during your stay here , consider that as an complimentary view. We had a rejuvenated stay here. Staff here are very kind and polite.

We spent 3 days here. The location is very good and our room was right on the beach. The ocean was not very clean on account of algae present in the water and the shore. Looked like the staff does not clean the algae from the beach. Staff was sometimes polite. I say it because one day they were all welcoming and another day we felt like why we are here. Food was good and the rooms were clean and hygenic. There was no room service and it was bluntly refused to us quoting cleanliness issues (come on it’s a hotel!). We had to call reception on account of small issues in room after checking in and they took their own time to come to the room. Other facilities like spa and pool are good. But this being a 4 star hotel, we except these small issues to be taken care of because of the same it upsets the mood, hence 3 rating.

Great place great staff. Some problems in the toilet but they try to fix right away. On the way back to the check out they just broke my bag bad luck for the guy. Amazing beach surrounding and great beach village near. Just need to be aware that being there to visit all the island you will need 2 full days . The restaurant dinner use to be thematic days and has great food.
